He does NOT communicate with you or even answer your calls to follow up with them. He even took my car to another shop without my knowledge and when I asked him where is my car, I than call the location and even went up there and they told me my car was not there. I ask again where is my car and he refuse to share the actual location where my car was and making up more excuses. He refuse to document what work was actually done from the other location and any update from what he did. 2 month later I spent 2k and the problem is not fixed. Never again.

On my Mercury Marquis needed a new fuel pump, last month replaced the breaks. On my Ford Explorer - change oil, struts, shocks. All good. I had paid A & J Automotive…read morea really unreasonable amount of money to rebuild my transmission in my Yukon and it had not lasted even two months of the 6 months that it was warranted for before it started jumping out of gear again. I took it to Chris. He tore it down right in front of me and showed me where pieces fit that had been left out. He ordered all new parts and something called a Z-kit that was supposed to make the transmission more durable than when it was new. Once he finished it and it was back in my truck, there hasn't been even a slight problem of any kind and it has been nearly 2 years since he rebuilt it. Today, I bought a Silverado SWB project with a bad transmission. I wouldn't DARE take it to anyone other than Chris.

I heard about this guy Chris from a friend of mine, and was kind of leary because it was a small…read morebusiness. I own a 95 Chevy Impala, and drive it from time to time on the weekends. I took my car to Chris because I wanted it to have a harder shift and a cleaner take off. He listened to what I said, made the adjustments, and gave me a torque converter, a shift kit and modified the valve body spacer plate. He kept my transmission for about a week, but he did what I asked. Pretty good Chris. If I wanted to tweek the transmisisons in my other cars, he would be the guy to do it.
