Thoroughly disappointed. I have used this company 4 times, my mom twice and referred numerous others. The move was great but.. .If something gets broken by one of their movers, be prepared for the owner not to do anything about it. I was told, its a pandemic, when my coffee table was broken into 2 pieces. Nothing was done.... I just received contentious emails stating it wasn't his issue and his insurance wouldn't cover it. If my table wasn't taken apart (it wasn't made to come apart) it wouldn't have been broken, and I wouldn't be asking for compensation. I was told my $600 table was old and only worth $50. Umm, no not accurate, yes it wasn't brand new but it was in perfect condition and now needs to be replaced, can not even be fixed as all of the wood is now cracked and can't be put back together in any way. After this happened, I reached out to others who have used this service, 2 other people I know had issues with broken furniture and were given a very hard time getting anything done. Needless to say I am disappointed. I paid a lot of money to move my furniture by quality movers. Now I need to replace my table at my own cost. I was delighted with my recent experience with C&C Moves. Everything I could have possibly asked for, they delivered. I received the estimate the same day (another company I had contacted didn't send me one for over a week). Charlie told me what size storage unit I would need, which saved me money as I would have rented one much larger than what I actually required. Within days of booking the move, I changed the date, which was no issue. Then, a week before the move, I found an apartment which meant that an extra guy would be needed to unpack my belongings (originally I was putting my things in a drive-up storage unit; now they were going into a 2nd-floor apartment). Once again, my request was accommodated without issue. On the day of the move, I was notified of the movers' arrival time, and Charlie came to check on the progress. Drew, Jeremiah, and Eddie were fantastic - they were friendly, respectful, had incredibly positive attitudes, and worked quickly and efficiently. My house was packed up in no time. Same deal unloading; everything went very smoothly. They somehow managed to get my oversized desk up the stairs and around the corner and through a narrow doorway without a scratch. Great moving company!!! Charlie, one of the owners of the company, came to my home prior to the move earlier this month and provided a very reasonable estimate. On move day, C&C showed up on time, and two of my friends helped out on the loading side as there was a big storm coming. Charlie was able to organize and fit all of my property into a 17' truck-a feat my spacial skills could not have imagined. My move was to another part of the state where the movers parked the truck to unload just as management required, took great care of my property, and placed my property where I needed it in my new apartment. Moving can be a stressful time, but this move was the best move I've ever had! Dare I say it was enjoyable?! I chose this company initially due to the positive Yelp reviews, and now wish to let others know my experience, also. I would pick this company if I had to move again-they are great!!! read more

I recently was in need of a couple angels and that's when I was sent to C&C Moves!!! I was having an extremely unpleasant experience with another company (PODS)and at the very last minute, Charles answered my call and told me that the same day as my move he would be able to get me two movers!!! I wanted to cry. He had no idea how much of a blessing that was. Two movers (Bobby and Cory) came to my place promptly at 3:00. They had a difficult task ahead of them; they had to try and fit all of my things into a small POD. I'm telling you what I have dealt with some movers in the past who were just interested in doing a half behind job of packing and not really being careful and such, but Bobby and Cory are two of the best I have ever seen. In my field of work and being a new home owner I'm constantly dealing with contractors and hear all the stories good and bad. I've used these guys three times and haven't had a single issue. I sent an email to their website and got a call back from Curtis within a half hour. Curtis is very professional, courteous, and enthusiastic (so was his crew). They always checked in with us so we never doubted if they would show and they showed up on time. One thing to keep in mind about hiring a moving company is that the movers are giving you a price quote based on the customer's description of how much stuff they have. I was VERY happy with my move. I am a newly single woman moving everything by myself so the whole idea of moving was a bit unnerving. First and foremost Charlie answered my call the first call I made. He asked me questions, gave me a cost and we set up a date all in one call (with a confirmation email to follow). The movers came in right on time and made it very easy to get my belongings from the house to my new apartment. I recently moved my small office from the north shore to the metro west area. I spoke with several movers and Charles quoted the best rate. On the day of the move, Charles and Scott showed up right on time and efficiently loaded all of my office furniture and equipment onto their truck. I had some bulky file cabinets and an expensive copier that I thought would be difficult to move, but they managed to deliver them to my new location without a scratch. When they finished unloading, the price I paid was exactly what Charles quoted me a few days before. I was very apprehensive at having strangers moving my belongings, but within the first hour, these guys were no longer strangers. A wonderful, professional team that helped us move out of our apartment and into our new house. C&C responded right away to our request for packing and moving services, and came and did a free site visit to give us an accurate quote. We had them move over two days (and they were really flexible changing the plan when a rain storm hit). The first day the team packed everything with great care and were really organized. And then on moving day, the team of 4 guys were so efficient and hard working-- they literally didn't stop moving for 4 hours and carried some EXTREMELY heavy items up and down stairs. I can not say enough positive things about C&C! Charlie was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. Our movers were very efficient, getting everything done in a timely manner and packing the truck like a game of Tetris. We could not believe how much stuff they effortlessly fit into one truck! They were extremely careful with our large furniture pieces and managed to maneuver our furniture up a narrow staircase... or at times through a second floor window. Moving day is always a nightmare of stress for me. But I can't say enough good things about Charlie and the guys at C&C Moves. They were so fast and efficient and nice that I calmed down right away. They wrapped all my artwork, glass tabletop and furniture. They easily managed their elevator usage from the top floor without bothering the people in my building. Then they re-packed all my stuff into a tiny storage room like a puzzle, neatly with the boxes in front so I could access them if needed. I couldn't have been more pleased. I didn't know I could be enthusiastic about anything involving moving...but I made the absolute right choice to hire C&C Moves.. Charlie and the two other movers were ready to work from the second them stepped foot in the snow (not a problem for them). They were way faster than I would have imagined, helpful and respectful, both in person and with things. I was originally referred by one of my realtors and from my first interaction with one of the owners (Curtis) I was impressed by how nice everyone at C&C was. Curtis and his team were amazing! We have very large and heavy furniture and they moved it very skillfully without anything being damaged. What made it even more challenging is that we were in a third floor condo unit that had a second floor to it.! They were all very professional and knew what they were doing.
