This is my second time being rear-ended (7 years apart, at least the bad luck is spread out?). Nathan did such an amazing job last time that I'm having my car towed a good 20 miles back to him. Not sure how this place gets such high reviews. This place is a fraud. They quoted a 2007 Honda Civic with minor dings on driver side door for almost $6000 which pretty much exceeded the actual car's value. If it was a major crash it'll make sense, but this??? Really kind and honest service! I came in to get a quote after an accident that lead to my hood not closing properly and frame damage that made it difficult to open the doors. C&C Collision does excellent work and Nathan and Rett, as well as the techs, are helpful. I had my car scratched by a road hazard and they helped touch up the rather deep scratch. They were able to match my matte paint (frozen grey) perfectly using 3 test cards until they found the right mixture. Then they applied the paint and I was very happy to see that the finish wasn't ruined from the touch up. Their paint techs do an excellent job and really know what they're doing. Best part was that their price was very good, especially for how much work went into getting the touch up paint spot-on to the finish. read more

In the last 20+ years of driving I've patronized a half dozen different body shops. A little over a year ago, someone leaving a parking space backed into the side of my otherwise pristine Audi. Being unhappy with the work done on my previous Audi by another shop, I started looking for a new shop. I took my car to a different shop that had a good reputation only to have them tell me that they don't work on Audi because they can be difficult to work on. I asked around and a friend turned me on to C&C. I wasn't using Yelp at that time or I'd have seen their long list of exclusively 5-star reviews. My first experience with C&C made me a believer. They had my car back to me much quicker than I expected and the work was absolutely PERFECT! I absolutely could not find a flaw. The bodywork was impeccable and the paint match was spot on. I absolutely could not tell that the car had been damaged and repaired. I am a frustrated perfectionist and I have never been so impressed with quality of a shop's work. The people there were friendly and courteous to boot! Nicolette, who runs the front office was a pleasure to deal with. A few months later, when my fiance nearly totaled her Mazda 3, I sent her over to C&C and was impressed again. Her car had major front end damage and I was sure they insurance company was going to total it. In fact, one of the owners told me that the car was less then $1000 away from being totaled. You'd never know it today. Again, C&C worked their magic and restored the car to like-new condition. The body was straight, the paint was perfect, the seams were all uniform and the car drives the same way it did when she bought it new. No noises, nothing! Most recently, a driver struck my side mirror with theirs while my car was parked, shattering the driver side mirror and badly scratching the mirror housing. Of course, they didn't stop or leave a note. With a $1k comprehensive deductible, I knew I'd be on the hook for the full cost of the repair. Even though they were in the process of moving to a new, larger facility in Alhambra, the owners (Nathan and Rett) took the time to personally go over my options. They were able to get me the glass at cost, which they installed at no charge. They also buffed the scuffs out of the mirror housing so I wouldn't have to pay for paint. These guys are pure class. I grew up to become an ASE-certified automotive refinisher. For the last 35 years, I've owned a high-end auto detailing business called Superior Shine. I've detailed for Hollywood celebrities, automotive museums, and for the US government to maintain secondary and retired aircraft used as Air Force One, Marine One, etc... They worked with my insurance (Geico) in a timely fashion and was able to procure all original equipment manufacturing parts (OEM). My car's model year was the first introduced here stateside so it was quite a task for the staff to go through every part number in detail. They made sure every part was correct upon receipt and verified the fitment. The paint job on the hood, bumper, and fenders are fantastic. The color matched great and there's no sign of overspray. My BMW M4 was impacted driving from Florida to California after an object flew out from a guy's truck on the I-10 in Texas. Edgar, my primary contact at C&C, assured me that he would diagnose my vehicle carefully and accurately to identify all parts that were damaged. Environment (A+): The office at C&C Collision was spotless. The lounge reminded me of one of the fancy dental offices. That's saying a lot for a auto body shop! They provide blue prints(if needed), break down of total cost for repairs (to your insurance), and possibly provide you information if your car is a total loss or worth repairing. My s2000 was involved in a parking lot hit and run. Came here because of recommendations I found on s2ki, friends, etc. Communication started off great at first. After 2 weeks, communication fell. No more updates. Promised status updates given by Edgar were never met, and I felt I was chasing for information. I try to be understanding, but honestly telling me you'll give me an update tomorrow to only have none is not ok. I even give a few extra days from the promised status update date, because I understand work gets busy. Almost 1.5 months later, I get my car back and the fender and bumper looked like it was slapped back together in a hurry at the end of day before a holiday. Fitment was poor with gaps or misfitted. I talk to Edgar who I've worked with throughout this time, and he's pretty understanding and sees the issues. However, it seems what he and I see don't translate to what his techs see. My car gets brought back 4 times for various post-repair issues (rings in clear coat, turn signal light not working after repair, fitment issues) that lasted another 2 months. All in all, just understand that C&C is just like any other body shop. Their job is to fix the car and slap it back together as fast as possible, and move on to the next car. Don't expect that special effort to make sure the fitment or color matching is 100%. I can't speak for the quality of the paint. I don't haven't experienced any peeling or clear coat failures, and certainly hope I won't ever have to use their lifetime paint warranty because all this back and forth has been rough read more

Over the years, I brought two cars on three occasions for repair. Nathan has a lot of experience and can give very accurate estimates for repair just by eyeballing your car in the parking lot. During my most recent visit, I thought that I would get an estimate from a nearby competitor. The other shop said that my car was totaled and gave me an estimate for repair that was 5 times what Nathan quoted. Never again. I have always been completely satisfied with C&C Collision's work. One time they gave me a tour of the back and unknown to me, C&C works on a lot of high-end sports cars. I'm surprised that they would take the time to work on my Japanese import. read more
