They moved slowly, didn't want to pay for original parts, etc. Dealing with insurance companies is not something I'm used to doing at all and Rett was able to help me navigate all the nonsense. His team went to bat for me and spent more time on this than I'm sure anybody else would have and I'm appreciative. Oh, and the work done was amazing. I was rear ended in September and for those who's dealt with accidents, it can be one of the most stressful things. I'm super grateful that my cousin recommended C & C Collision! Before handing over my keys, I did a walk through with Rett to let him know how my car was impacted and asked any questions I had. Hands down the best body shop I've worked with. I was side swept by another car that left me with a decent amount of damage to my front bumper. I was severely underquoted for the repairs by the insurance company, but Rett and Nathan worked hard to get me the reimbursement needed to repair things appropriately and had great communication throughout the whole process. This is my second time being rear-ended (7 years apart, at least the bad luck is spread out?). Nathan did such an amazing job last time that I'm having my car towed a good 20 miles back to him. Tatiane has been helping me the whole way and has been amazing dealing with my auto insurance, more so than the insurance rep that's supposed to be on my side. I called the office and the receptionist, ( Titian, hope I didn't botch spelling of her name) was professional and courteous in handling my call. Not sure how this place gets such high reviews. This place is a fraud. They quoted a 2007 Honda Civic with minor dings on driver side door for almost $6000 which pretty much exceeded the actual car's value. If it was a major crash it'll make sense, but this??? They were able to match my matte paint (frozen grey) perfectly using 3 test cards until they found the right mixture. Then they applied the paint and I was very happy to see that the finish wasn't ruined from the touch up. Their paint techs do an excellent job and really know what they're doing. In the last 20+ years of driving I've patronized a half dozen different body shops. A little over a year ago, someone leaving a parking space backed into the side of my otherwise pristine Audi. Being unhappy with the work done on my previous Audi by another shop, I started looking for a new shop. I took my car to a different shop that had a good reputation only to have them tell me that they don't work on Audi because they can be difficult to work on. I asked around and a friend turned me on to C&C. I wasn't using Yelp at that time or I'd have seen their long list of exclusively 5-star reviews. My first experience with C&C made me a believer. They had my car back to me much quicker than I expected and the work was absolutely PERFECT! I absolutely could not find a flaw. The bodywork was impeccable and the paint match was spot on. I absolutely could not tell that the car had been damaged and repaired. I am a frustrated perfectionist and I have never been so impressed with quality of a shop's work. The people there were friendly and courteous to boot! Nicolette, who runs the front office was a pleasure to deal with. A few months later, when my fiance nearly totaled her Mazda 3, I sent her over to C&C and was impressed again. Her car had major front end damage and I was sure they insurance company was going to total it. In fact, one of the owners told me that the car was less then $1000 away from being totaled. You'd never know it today. Again, C&C worked their magic and restored the car to like-new condition. The body was straight, the paint was perfect, the seams were all uniform and the car drives the same way it did when she bought it new. No noises, nothing! Most recently, a driver struck my side mirror with theirs while my car was parked, shattering the driver side mirror and badly scratching the mirror housing. Of course, they didn't stop or leave a note. With a $1k comprehensive deductible, I knew I'd be on the hook for the full cost of the repair. Even though they were in the process of moving to a new, larger facility in Alhambra, the owners (Nathan and Rett) took the time to personally go over my options. They were able to get me the glass at cost, which they installed at no charge. They also buffed the scuffs out of the mirror housing so I wouldn't have to pay for paint. These guys are pure class. I grew up to become an ASE-certified automotive refinisher. For the last 35 years, I've owned a high-end auto detailing business called Superior Shine. I've detailed for Hollywood celebrities, automotive museums, and for the US government to maintain secondary and retired aircraft used as Air Force One, Marine One, etc... I've detailed vehicles for prestigious car shows such as Pebble Beach Concours de elegance and the San Marino Motor Classic which have taken "best paint" and "best of show" awards. I routinely work on vehicles valued from hundreds of thousands to multimillions. I know paint finishes. I recently had my daughter's Honda Civic taken to C & C. I was reluctant to take it anywhere as my standards are very high and was certain I'd be forced to accept a poor repair as "good.". The quality of work that is accepted in the auto body industry as excellent is actually very poor. It isn't uncommon to take delivery of a repaired vehicle and find panels with mismatched color and texture, overspray all over, debris in the finish, polishing marks in the finish, and so on. The work our vehicle received was nothing short of phenomenal. The color match was PERFECT. Blending was PERFECT. The texture match of the refinished areas with the factory finish was PERFECT. They worked with my insurance (Geico) in a timely fashion and was able to procure all original equipment manufacturing parts (OEM). My car's model year was the first introduced here stateside so it was quite a task for the staff to go through every part number in detail. They made sure every part was correct upon receipt and verified the fitment. The paint job on the hood, bumper, and fenders are fantastic. The color matched great and there's no sign of overspray. My BMW M4 was impacted driving from Florida to California after an object flew out from a guy's truck on the I-10 in Texas.
