Store seems fine, but don't trust the inventory online. I drove 20 minutes out of my way to this location because the online inventory showed that they had 56 tomato cages. I was told that they sold out of them weeks ago. What a waste of time. read more

NEVER COMING TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!! my boyfriend and i came to this location and had purchased some insoles for my new boots. they did not fit in my boots so we decided to take it back and return it. not to mention we went to return it a few days after purchasing. as we were walking in, their theft detector went off. my boyfriend and i stop and look at each other confused cause we just walked in. as we were standing there confused on why this detector went off this old lady named connie is standing there staring at us. my boyfriend says to her we are here to return this. she continues to just stand there and stare at us. she finally decides to say something and said something to us along the lines to meet her at the register to return it. as i put down my returned item she grabs it and started asking if we had just bought a wallet from them, we obviously didn't as we just walked in. we told her no. she said do you have a wallet my boyfriend pulls his wallet out and she demands to give his wallet to her. she grabs it out of his hands and took it to some scanner at the register and kept it with her. she then points at me and says "it must be you that stole something then" i told her we had just walked in and are here to only return this item. she demanded that my boyfriend and i need to empty our pockets. i showed her i only had my phone and keys with me. this old lady connie was so upset with us that she could not find any stolen items on us. we let her know we were not happy with how she handled this and that we will NOT be coming back to this location. i don't like to be harassed and demanded to do things. i would've rather her called the cops and had them handle this. i noticed there is some other reviews about this same exact situation happening to others with this same lady. not our fault you guys have a defaulted theft detector. get that shit looked at before you come at customers who are walking in. make it make sense. very unprofessional. read more

C-A-L Ranch is similar to IFA, etc. in that it is one of those types of places that is normally found in the central and western states on the further outskirts of towns and is typically frequented by cowboys, farmers, ranchers, and all around good ol' boy types. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but it is just one of those things I have always found interesting. Knowing that they have tools, I took a drive out to compare prices. While they had a few sale items in some departments, overall the prices are higher than what you can find at say Lowes, Home Depot or Ace Hardware, at least for tools. They do have a good selection of hunting and camping gear, but again the prices aren't any better than what you could find at Dick's or Sportsman's which is usually closer to most folks than spending time driving out of the way to shop here. All in all, it's a nice store and has a great selection of all those types of things that country folk need but nothing outstanding as far as prices go. read more

I'm giving this place 5 stars just because I love coming here. We get all of our chicken feed from here and I've found the prices to be cheaper than most places. This caters to the rancher/farmer/outdoor person but I'm not that type and I feel comfortable shopping here. They have a good selection of clothing but I've never found anything to buy for me. I think they have a good selection of outdoor items as well. Not near as much as sportsmans or another outdoor place but it is a good place it come for a few things. They also sell propane so if you need to fill up a bottle come here. In the spring they have a few types of chicks to buy so the kids like to see that. It is a good store and close to my house and it has saved me lots of time from having to drive all the way to ogden. I suppose it is not a place to come to on a special trip but if you are in the area stop in to see what you think. read more

I have been seriously disappointed in this store. I live out west where there are very few stores around to get farm supplies. I went in to buy dog food 3 times. Each time the price listed was $5 less than the it rang up at the register. When I told the cashier I was told "well that's the price it is in our system" in the snottiest way, like I was wrong. I even invited them to come look at the price posted and they would not. The last time I went in and got the same service, I wrote an email to the corporate office (6 months ago) and still have not received a response. I will never shop at this store again, customer service at the register is appalling. I gave it two stars because customer service on the floor wasn't terrible. read more

We come here simply because it's the closest feed store. Worst customer service, every time. And buying ammo here is interesting. If you can actually get someone to help you at the counter- they almost act like they're annoyed if you buy the last box? It meets our needs, that's it. read more

Best price I've found on chicken feed. I don't like that they don't offer a military discount like most stores of this type.

Stopped in this store to grab a few things and my son found a bubble blower that was on the shelf for $9.99. We grabbed it and it rang up as 21.99. I went and showed the lady at the register that on the shelf if said $9.99 and she was super rude about it. She peeled the $9.99 stickers off the shelf and wouldn't honor the price. I wouldn't recommend going here because they obviously don't care much about their customers and don't put things where they belong or honor the prices they are. read more

I went in for the first time with my girlfriend to get a key made, as we happend to be near it. We decided to browse the store while waiting, where we were looking at camping gear. The items had zero individual pricing and were stocked in areas where the prices seemed very low. We brought the items up to the front for a price check. There was no upc for them to price so a manager was called. After waiting 20 minutes for a manager to show up we sought her out only to find her helping other customers who came in after us. She then tried to make sense of her abysmal stocking, where she told us she would not honor the price where everything was stocked, she then accused us of going to other stores and removing labels and restocking items..... Seriously! Lisa, the manager accused us of "moving things around at other stores often" based on the fact we asked for a price check? Never in my life have I had such a disrespectful manager, we filed a complaint with the corporate office. I will not shop there ever. What a terrible first time experience at a store. read more
