I have taken my bikes into shops in all those cities - with varied experiences. Many bike shops that carry high end brands have that pretentious, "we all race Cat 4 but we know some Continental Pros" aura around them. That is NOT the vibe of Bountiful Bikes. From the first time I went there I thought it was really cool. My dad even bought $500 of gear when he was in from out of state, just because their customer service is so great. The owner (Brady) personally helped me fix my carbon seat post issue when I was out riding near the shop. I didn't even buy this bike there and he did this for me. I highly recommend Bountiful whether you want a S WORKS Tarmac with Di2, or just some cheap Raleigh. They will help you on all levels. Let me be clear: I have never worked there, and am not related to anyone who works there, or has worked there, I just really like this shop.

I thought I wanted a hybrid bike but after him asking different questions and understanding my preferences, I actually bought a mountain bike and I'm so glad I did. He was extremely personable and willing to make sure I was happy with my purchase. I appreciated the time he took to bring down different bikes to test ride different sizes to make sure I was satisfied. Then another coworker helped me find the best fitting helmet. Overall this place from not a pro biker in any sense, but just a new bike rider trying to find the best bike, I HIGHLY recommend for excellent customer service and great selection! I got a Townie ebike some sweet accessories for both my Townie ebike and my Townie regular bike. We're Guthrie fans! Their staff is very knowledgeable from the "kids" working sales to bike techs to the owner who will do all the jobs alongside his crew. And fun fact! Guthrie is the oldest bike shop in the USA, established in 1888. Salt Lake City is full of cool things! We'll have to go to their SLC location next, but getting to Bountiful is easy (even from our home in Park City). The Bountiful location has a ton of parking. They have bikes to demo and plenty of room outside to demo. Bountiful Guthrie has a service center. They shop also has a ton of accessories on hand. We'll be back. Not just for a tune, but we're loyal customers thanks to their amazing customer service.
