When visiting the Tower bridge, eating here is a must! The restaurant is so cute and they have VEGAN Fish & Chips. This was my first stop on my trip in the city and I was so happy I got to experience eating a vegan version of England's traditional dish. I ended up coming back a second time in the duration of my trip and had the Quinoa Taco Salad and Mac & Cheese. The Salad was really good and so was the mac & cheese, however, the mac & cheese was a bit on the salty side. I also had a cupcake which I can't remember which flavor it was but I was not a big fan. The cupcake aside, the food is delightful.

Highly recommended for all! We had the gauc burger, air-fried fries, and "fish" and chips. So good that we stayed for dessert and bought yummy muffins on take away. Staff were very friendly and happy to answer questions. Guest WiFi worked well. All of this at an exciting location - Tower Bridge makes for a handsome backdrop. Whether you always eat plant-based and vegan, or simply looking for a healthier but delicious alternative to your routine, I would check this out.

Was so excited to learn that there was a By Chloe here in London! We frequent By Chloe in NYC (where we're from) and was so excited to grab vegan dinner here. Super convenient from the Tower of London as it's just on the other side of the Tower Bridge.

Great service and amazing food! The cashiers were very knowledgeable and helpful. I had the Quinoa Taco Salad which was perfect and tasty. The fries were a great addition. The Mac and cheese was cheesy with great flavor! Adorable place! Great options for dessert!

The food is decent - I always seem to get something disappointing, but it's moderately good. It feels like it's getting more expensive though, as my husband and I spent £12 and 15 (respectively) the other night, and it wasn't exactly piled high (I was still slightly hungry afterwards), and that was without drinks, bread, or dessert. They also have changed dinner drinks ordering to where they give you a plastic card as your tab. You weigh your plates at the till as normal, but instead of ordering drinks there, you have to do so at your table. (They won't even let you order at the till - they instruct you to go back and order from the table.) It's needlessly complicated for something that should be a simple concept.

Finding Tibits was exciting since they had a huge selection of items we could both eat and the food was delicious! I was so thrilled to have so many options that I filled two plates and finished them both! My husband and I returned the following night for more! If you have food allergies you will be excited at the spread at this restaurant. If you don't have food allergies or restrictions, you will be surprised at the amazing flavors the restaurant has evoked from the food! My biggest revelation here was the "egg" salad. I have an egg allergy and haven't touched egg in about 10 years. Egg salad is one of those things that I really miss and Tibits nailed the flavor and texture. They used a spice I hadn't heard of prior (Kala Namak) to get the sulfurous flavor of the egg and it was spot on!

They don't skimp on the toppings, which is generally my biggest complaint with posh/trendy pizza. Not here! I generally walk out in a cheese coma of contentment. Drinks are a selection of locally bottled beers from Kernel, Brick Brewery etc, decent wines and a few no-fuss cocktails. The prices are reasonable if you're not planning on having a pissup (it's not that kind of place). We usually wind up dropping about £20 a head including drinks, service and a shared starter. Pizzas are around the £8-10 mark if you're doing takeaway. Try the specials. The restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere, with friendly staff who are prompt and attentive without making you feel like you're being rushed out the door. Down this end of Peckham you're unlikely to run into parents with rowdy children (a complaint of the locations further out) but if you're planning on coming in much later than 7 on a Friday or Saturday, you'll want to book a table.

The flavors are the closest to the authentic Latin creations I grew up eating, yet also manage to add their own unique and delicious twists to make them pop even more. The ingredients are carefully selected, paired well, and cooked to perfection to make every dish unforgettable. For my first run, I tried the Seared Braised Beef with julienned crispy potatoes, which reminds me of the Lomo Saltado we do in California. The beef is tender and succulent, salty & flavorful, and topped with sliced roasted veggies. The crispy potatoes are amazing, too, but I wish there had been more. This is also the first restaurant I've been to in London that serves fried yuca (cassava) since I moved here... and that was more than 4 years ago. If you're hungry, get this as your side. Brownie points to them for using truffle oil to give them that little extra flair. The drinks don't disappoint, either. Their cocktails are utilizing "better" versions of Latin spirits (think Fair Quinoa Vodka), which means they're slightly pricier but also offer a more varied experience. The wine list is also plentiful, so pick your poison. Given the lively nature of its environment, it's definitely a restaurant for the social experience. However, reservations in advance are strongly recommended, whether you're coming alone or in a group. The ONLY downside I could find about this place was their complete lack of alternative milks. So, if you want something other than dairy to go with your tea or coffee, you're out of luck. In my case, I ended up opting for their Espressini cocktail with Fair Trade Coffee Liqueur instead. I know. What a sacrifice.

I've been looking forward to visiting Duck & Waffle for quite some time. The views are incredible,…read morethe space itself is striking, and on paper it promises that perfect London mix of skyline, late-night energy, and elevated comfort food. Unfortunately, our experience was soured before it even had a chance to begin. My girlfriend and I walked in excited, completely amicable, simply hoping to head upstairs for a bite and drinks. We were greeted by the doorman with an immediate, dismissive "Are you good?" -- not in a welcoming or helpful tone, but in a way that felt skeptical and unnecessarily confrontational. There was no warmth, no "welcome in," no attempt at hospitality. It immediately set an uncomfortable tone. He then proceeded to call upstairs as though he were doing us some sort of favor just by allowing us to go up. The entire interaction felt transactional and judgmental rather than gracious. First impressions matter, especially at a place that positions itself as a premium dining destination. Hospitality begins at the door, not at the table. When we finally made it upstairs, the room was filled with visibly drunk, rowdy groups -- which only made the earlier attitude feel even more misplaced. If that environment is acceptable (and profitable), then two polite guests looking for drinks and food shouldn't be met with suspicion at the entrance. By that point, the damage was done. The initial interaction had already rubbed us the wrong way, and the energy upstairs didn't help. We ultimately decided to leave before even sitting at our table. That's how strongly the first impression impacted us. It's difficult to justify staying somewhere when you don't feel genuinely welcomed from the outset. Duck & Waffle has the potential to be memorable for all the right reasons. But someone representing the brand at the very front needs to understand that hospitality isn't optional -- it's foundational. A simple, respectful welcome would have changed everything. I hope management takes this seriously, because no guest should feel judged or dismissed before they even step inside.
