The pizza arrived after an hour and sadly it wasn't cooked correctly. The edges of the base were edible but the middle was damp and soggy. I haven't physically been to the restaurant, but we ordered from them the other evening when a group of friends came over unannounced. We were all very impressed. Pizzerias are a dime a dozen in London. What (we collectively felt) separated Oregano from the boys was the depth of flavour they pack into their pizzas, the thin, light crust of their pizzas and the speed of delivery. FYI, there's a dedicated app for even faster ordering / delivery. We ordered the Quattro Stagioni (four seasons pizza), Pepperoni, Vegetarian, Chicken Pesto, American and Tuna. All were fantastic but I personally liked the Tuna most, having never had a pizza with tuna before, or any kind of fish for that matter (anchovies don't count). Unless there was a hardcore, non-dairy vegetarian in our group, I would probably replace the Vegetarian with a Quattro Formaggi next time. The leftovers passed the morning after tests with flying colours too. Oregano is well worth a visit, take away or home delivery. Hey! Their driver kept insisting he was outside, when he wasn't so I called up to cancel the order. The driver asked me to come and find him and said he was by a bus stop. I have no idea where he was. On the 5th attempt he found the address and my partner took the pizzas. He then phoned us and asked us to return the pizzas, as I'd cancelled the order. He took the pizzas off my partner. I then phoned their Bristol branch only to be told that we'd taken the pizzas and must have returned them to someone other than the driver. As we have not received any pizza they have effectively stolen £26 approx off me!

I've been receiving flyers in the mail from this place for AAAGES and finally I stepped out of my…read morecomfort zone and ordered from them on a, what I like to call, "fatty night" where my boyfriend and I break from our ritualistic healthy eating/cooking and order take out. I was a bit skeptical because a few of the reviews we had read on the website had said that it took them 3 hours to get their food. Fortunately, I didn't have this experience. From placing the order to doorstep it was around 45 minutes for the food to arrive and we didn't just order a cheese pizza. We ordered the Margherita Pizza (which is a cheese pizza), Tropicale Pizza, and a Calamari Fritti starter. Yeah, loads of food. Each extra-large special pizza is £12.45 and unfortunately, I've come to expect small pizza sizes in England but when both pizzas arrive (yeah we ordered extra-larges on both) they were MASSIVE. More than that, the pizzas were delicious. I spent nearly £30 on the food, and while that is extortionate for a take-away I think they send out deals via flyers regularly so I'm crossing my fingers that some deals come my way. Overall the best reason for this place is that it's a local pizza joint. While Domino's and Papa John's are nearby this particular location I suggest checking out this place in lieu of the standardized "big dogs". As I said to my boyfriend while shoveling pizza into my face, I am so glad we decided to order from this place instead of going for our usual choice of Papa John's. I will definitely be trying them again. Small Ending Tip: Since it is a small joint, I think a lot of the wait times is when people order on extremely busy nights. Ordering on a Thursday night at 5:30 worked out extremely well for us, the food got there by 6:15.

Apparently it is quite popular in certain parts of Italy! Firstly, the phone operator was very polite and helpful and the delivery driver arrived promptly despite travelling from North End Road to Chiswick. The service gets full marks because for this type of transaction I cannot see how they could have been better. The deep pan pizza itself was quite good but not as tasty as my two US style pizza faves 'Domino's' or 'Tops'. The ham was that "stringy" shredded kind that all the cheaper places use and has a rather artificial flavour. The pepperoni was generic but fine. The mushrooms were fairly standard. The thinly sliced potato was cooked properly and made an unusual addition to the pizza but worked OK. The price for a medium pizza was not expensive at £8.50 but hardly value for the size & quality either. I would possibly use them again because of the variety of toppings they offer. Such unusual things as egg, aubergines, baby corn, courgette, spring onion, asparagus, artichokes and MORE mean I would recommend them to those who want a wide range of choices.

We were in need of speedy takeaway before a long car journey north so I volunteered to pick something up while he finished packing. A great move by me as it turned out, given the yummy smells wafting around as soon as you go in! Also nice and cosy inside thanks to the massive wood-fired oven at the back. There's a small bit of of bar-style seating by the window so I ordered then nabbed myself a wooden stool to people-watch outside. We went for a large Funghi Di Bosco - which was very large, and very funghi. By which I mean the truffley smells from within almost knocked me out as I carried the box back to the flat. Luckily I'm a truffle fan and it tasted great, with a nicely wood-fired thin crust and good topping-to-base ratio :) Would defo recommend to anyone in the area - nice smiley lady on the till and my wait was only about 10mins. They had a buy one get one half price (BOGOHP?!) offer on, and takeaway prices turned out to be lower than those stated on the menu in the window anyway which (along with the pizza being bigger than expected) was a v nice surprise!
