Service was ok--big smile and cheery but....failed to come by and ask how our food was so I could not report they forgot to bring a dish No piped in crooning so could hear and be heard Chairs were comfy and table were like on a typical pizza place My salad was fresh and crisp The greens were diversified The chicken was shredded--didn't expect that--but the more substantial surface area led to a rather delicious salad. My chicken appetizer was basically shredded chicken and sauce with olives. Mundane and tasteless. There was nothing wrong with it per se but suggest to proprietor to consider chunks of chicken with additional seasoning (oregano. Thyme, rosemary basil) shredded mozzarella then baked until piping hot and then broiled till brown... finish with some freshly grated pecorino Romano. The menu is almost all pizza with a couple of salad options and a good assortment of appetizers.

Fresh (made onsite daily) lightweight, flavorful and inexpensive pizzas. About 10 pounds for a 12" I shared with my wife. Like more and more restaurants these days they add option tip.

I was starving and so I ordered a pizza to go using the QR code provided on the outside of the business. The order process was seamless and I soon received my confirmation email saying that my pizza will be ready shortly. Well...not so shortly after all. I waited and waited and waited...luckily I had my dog with me and she was keeping me company. Eventually, I asked one of the wait staff to check on my order when it transpired that my order had - for some reason - never been communicated with the kitchen. So, I was getting a bit hangry and I think Francesca - the name of the person helping me - realized that and she did the right thing: she prioritized my order and gave me a voucher for a free pizza. Nicely done! Oh...and the pizza was tasty too!

They are our go-to pizza place as it is relatively cheap and yummy. The wait wasn't long because a few people gave upon the queue but I think usually around 20min during busy hours. They have beer tap outside so you can drink while you wait. Also checkout the board for specials!!

I love this place!! Came here on a weeknight and the place was pretty busy. I didn't realise how big the place is until you get right to the back. I ordered the margherita pizza. It's very different to NY style pizza in a good way. The base has this nice taste that you don't normally get elsewhere. The tiramisu is also worth trying as it is nice and soft. It almost melts in your mouth. Both food and drink prices were quite reasonable. Service was also good. Definitely recommend this place!

Intimate and relaxed but still nice enough to feel that you are "out" somewhere. They bring you limoncello and nice dark chocolate mints at the end of the night. The decor and spacing is just right for the downstairs space. The food was fine. Not particularly memorable, but not bad. For this level of quality, in my opinion, the cost was too high. Our family of 5 had four pasta dishes (bolognese, amatriciana, carbonara, lasagna), a pizza, and 2 bottles of beer. The dishes were all a la carte. No salad or antipasti or dessert. The bill was nearly 140 pounds. This was our most expensive meal in a 10-day vacation, for which I expected more. The worst part of the experience was our waitress. An older lady who gave the vibe that she was the owner's wife or sister who just couldn't be bothered. After we were there for 10 minutes, she took our order with the smallest amount of effort. I asked for a beer and she gruffly said "we have Peroni ... Italian beer," followed by a stare. So I had a Peroni. Later, I noticed other tables were drinking different beers that must have been on the drink menu that she didn't want to bring me. She delivered our food (the orders were all correct) with minimal effort (most was delivered by runners) and then completely ghosted us for the rest of the evening. She was there, casually wandering around the restaurant, rolling silverware, stapling things together at the hostess station, bringing water to other tables ... not stressed or in the weeds with other tables. But, she wouldn't look our way. After we finished, part of our family left to our hotel and I stayed to pay the bill. The host (or maybe owner) brought our mints and limoncello, and another waiter cleared the dishes, so I thought the bill was on the way. It wasn't. I eventually stood up and waived down another waiter (who was very helpful) who fetched the host who brought us our (very large) bill. For all I know, the waitress perfectly lovely at other times and just had an off night. But, it really dampened our experience on this night.

They have where you can order at the counter and sit down, order at the counter and take it to go, or order thru the app and have it delivered to your table. I consider it more fast casual since they don't have formal table service. We ordered the bruschetta mozzarella- this was good but they need to use a more toasted crostini because the bread got soggy fast and just fell apart. We also shared the garlic bread with cheese which was amazing. It had real pieces of garlic and a good amount of cheese. Then I tried the arrabbiata- the penne noodles were well overcooked and soggy. The sauce was lackluster and had no spice, idk if they made it wrong or what but I did request a refund. Also because my fiancé's food showered up about 15mins before mine did and he was also finished by the time mine came out wrong. They did offer to remake mine but then is when I requested the refund because he was done and I didn't want to wait. My fiancé got the hot smoked salmon with tagliatelle noodles. He really liked it. I think it would be better if they left the salmon whole but they shred it into pieces. I'd probably return for drinks and appetizers if I go back. I also got the gunna raspberry lemonade and it's awful, way too sweet.

Now the taste... it's just OK. Wouldn't order it again, not that it's not good but I had better. The texture of the stuffing to me needs to be cooked well. Seems like it was just chopped and stuffed in the dough. I like my calzone with the meat precooked and not too under, that it seems like it was just stuffed raw in the fresh-baked dough. The bread part is very good, I give them a 5 on that. Too bad the stuffing didn't meet my expectations. I also had to add some salt to bring it up to the taste level I like so I can finish my meal. Paired it with a bottle of Moretti lager and it was a good pairing. The other order was the prawn linguine in mild hot sauce. The sauce is good, it's on the hotter side. For me, it's good heat, for my lady, it is a bit too hot. The linguini is cooked to perfection, sauce is good and needs nothing. I would have some shaved Parmesan but it was not offered. That would compliment it nicely. This was paired with a passion fruit martini. Perfect pairing. The service is very quick but you have the do some preliminary setting up to your phone. All web ordering and prepaid. Good selection but not a lot of options. Once you've done the slightly complicated app installation and online payment, you get your order within 10-minutes once submitted and paid for. For some seniors or less technical individuals, this will make them walk out of the establishment and go somewhere else. Might be too advance for them and rather eat in a traditional ordering and not so advanced paying process. Some people don't do well moving forward in technology and that's a fact. The location of this place is by the tower bridge, very nice view everywhere you look. There's some few outdoor seating and very limited. Inside interior design is very modern, nice collection of black and white frame pictures and lots of artwork. Very pleasant to look at. But it is quite noisy. Good for teenager dating but not romantic enough for adults. Good for group lunches and big families too.

It is a simple place with a nice ambiance and the aroma of garlic in the air as we entered. Many of the staff are Italians, a good thing at an Italian restaurant, with the chef hailing from bella Napoli. The pizza oven looks authentic, but it appeared out of use until the pizzaiuolo (pizza maker) put our garlic bread inside to bake. Turns out it is gas fired. We started with a Caprese Salad - "fresh (buffalo) mozzarella cheese, tomato, basil, and olive oil" (£6.90) - as well as an order of garlic bread (£3) as previously mentioned. The mozzarella was neither fresh nor Mozzarella di Bufala as far as I could tell and there were just four large, halved cherry tomatoes surrounding the ball of cheese which was topped with one lonely basil leaf. There was a "skin" on the outside of the mozzarella and it did not ooze liquid, indicating that it wIt was not the worst Caprese I have had, but it was far from the best. The garlic bread was actually pizza dough topped with olive oil and salt, then baked in the gas oven. It was tasty and a decent value. I also had a half bottle of house red wine (£6.90), a Merlot which was smooth, light, and tasty. I saw that they had a Salsiccia e Friarielli (sausage and broccoli rabe sautéed in olive oil) Pizza (£9.90) on the menu, so I asked if they could make me a pasta dish with sausage and friarielli as well, a request to which they readily agreed. Bravo! The pasta was quite tasty and well prepared, indicating that the Neapolitan chef knew what he was doing. They charged me the same for the pasta as they do for the pizza (£9.90). My wife's Spaghetti Carbonara (£8.50) was made with cream, pancetta, and egg and she enjoyed it very much even though it was "a bit too salty". It was a decent portion and a very good value for the price, but authentic it was not as you would never find cream as an ingredient in a carbonara in Italy. I would have given them an extra "BOMB" had the Caprese salad been better and more fresh and the carbonara prepared more traditionally. CombatCritic Gives La Luna 6 Bombs Out Of 10 ...
