#2 with added Buffalo Mozzarella and Tuscan Pork Fennel Sausage.

Had a delicious #2 with added Buffalo Mozzarella and Tuscan Pork Fennel Sausage. Great location and sat outside. Staff was very friendly. Pizza was delicious and the sourdough crust was amazing. If your in South Kensington, make sure to stop in and give it a try. One of the best pizzas I had in London.

Franco Manca was recommended to me and it did not disappoint! Went for lunch on a rainy day. The pizza was light and delicious and full of flavor. Even just the bread was so good. You can tell it is fresh. A great spot in London!

4.5 Franco Mana is an awesome spot for pizza in the upscale Kensington neighbourhood. Despite being a pricey neighbourhood, Franco's was extremely well priced. The cosy, dimly lit store has minimal seating which is usually packed - and for a good reason. The pizzas are absolutely delicious. Upon waiting for a few minutes, I was seated. The menu is already on the table in a paper format, and I decided I would go for the classic margherita pizza. The service was quite prompt taking only a few minutes to cook the pizza in the wood fired ovens. The pizza arrived piping hot, but not to the point where it burnt the roof of your mouth. It was not overpowering with cheese either - just a perfect amount of sauce, fresh mozzarella, and basil. The pizza truly tasted quite amazing. I believe the owners are Italian as this place seemed quite authentic. The service was also prompt. My only drawback was the fact that I had to share my table with 2 other guests, but given the tight space this was not a deal breaker. A solid 4.5 stars.

Pretty good Italian. Everyone in our party got different types of pizzas and we all liked them. I've had better in the states but this place did the trick with filling us up after a long day of sightseeing. Service was awesome. Such a nice guy and fun to chat with. I think his name was Tomasso.

Living in Europe has made me gobble up as much Neapolitan pizza as I can, even though it's pretty much the norm here. All pizza is comfort food, whether it's a dollar slice or an artisanal pizza... or wait, European-style sourdough pizza?! San Franciscans, you owe it to yourself to hit up one of Franco Manca's locations when you're in London... if you don't have any dietary restrictions. This pizza place is a leisurely walk from the museums in the area (Science Museum, Natural History Museum, and the V&A) on a nice spring or summer day--those ten minutes will feel like forever on a cold day. We had a lot of fun checking out all of the restaurants and stores on Old Brompton Road. I immediately noticed the cool, young vibe as soon as I walked in (very warehouse chic), but rest assured that Franco Manca isn't a rude hipster restaurant. Our server seated us immediately, brought over some tap water, and answered any questions we had about the menu. Although there are two daily specials (one meat and one veggie), I felt like people who don't eat red meat get kind of shafted by the menu. I went with the day's veggie special (something with courgette, or zucchini for my fellow Yanks), and while it was tasty, I wasn't really wowed by the flavor. I also tried some of the #5--the salty anchovies practically made the pizza inedible. Our lunch didn't seem too expensive for the South Kensington area, but I couldn't help but feel that Franco Manca just wasn't the right place for me. Maybe they should offer more pizzas on their menu? But I wouldn't hesitate to give this place a shot--as long as you check out their menu beforehand.

After ice cream served our plates was still not cleared by a member of waiting staff

When we were here last time (Muswell Hill branch) qe had a bad experience but I always given second chances so we returned today !just wanted to treat my son with a yummy pizzas after his school....yummy? You bet!! Despite we were the only customer at the restaurant it took an Italian speaking Waiteress to take orders from us to 10 minutes, They (chefs-waiting staff) were all having a cosy conversation) Whilst we were waiting to be served uber or other delivery bikers picked up their orders each by each so Despite we were the only customers it was taken 30 minutes to being served! By then I made it up we won't be coming back ! After we finished our meals we were waiting for our dessert orders to be taken but still no luck ! So I had to get up and spoke to a member of the waiting staff kindly requested an ice cream for my son Yes than the ice cream served but our main course -pizzas left overs plates were still on the table! Nobody bothered to clear our table! I'm glad that nobody asked me for anything tea-coffee etc:) (Very professional uh:) As soon as my son had his ice cream than we prepared our aelf paid the bill at the desk rather then waiting for it on the table It was another awful experience for us. PLEASE AVOID!

Their version of a margarita pizza with English cheese, tomatoes and basil. And a home made lemonade.

Really good sourdough pizza. Not napolitain in my opinion. Really good home made lemonade. Had a macchiato for dessert, which was made also with fair trade coffee and tasted really good.

    Ugh- blurry. Tomato, basil, mozzarella.

This little pizza place was authentically good. Pizzas are thin crust and not cut, for whatever reason. The menu is very limited and there are a few vegetarian options. They also have 2 special a day, or week or whatever, and one is vegetarian and a meatasaurus one. Prices are totally worth it. Cheese is lovely, crust is chewy and thin. Great meal.

I've been coming here since their location opened up in Brixton. Never disappoints! I'm thrilled they opened up in South Ken years ago as I tend to stay near this location when I visit the UK. Franco Manca makes great Neapolitan style pizzas using fresh ingredients and combinations which will keep you coming back to try all. Make sure you check the board for the daily special as I've never come across one I didn't love!

I've had a lot of pizza and this has to be one of my top 5 favorite pizzas ever. Honestly wasn't expecting something this good in London but my sister and I stopped here per recommendation of a YouTuber (Joan Kim). This was our first meal upon landing and it hit all of the spots and then some. They're personal sized pizzas and very reasonably priced, the cheapest being $5 pounds and others ranging around $9-10. My sister opted for the tomato basil (keeping it simple)and I went for their meat special on the board that day. The crust is Neapolitan style I believe. Perfect mix of doughy and crusty; it's a bit hard to explain. The sauces never overpowered and let the flavors shine by itself. My pizza particularly had some type of cheese that blew my mind (I wish I remembered the name!) added so much flavor to it. We crushed the pizzas in a few minutes and if it weren't for us wanting to food hop, I would've gladly ordered some more. The atmosphere is nice and almost made me feel like I was in Italy. Overall felt pretty authentic and is a great place to have cheap, delicious lunch.

This was an amazing pizza place! We ordered their margarita pizza with dollops of pesto. The dough was delicious and almost tasted like naan... which is not something we had tried before but loved it! The pasta was light and airy and very tasty! We hope they will open a store in California.

    Margherita pizza!

This may be the best pizza I've ever had. Which is a little disappointing living in the US but I guess it'll give me an excuse to come back. We stopped in during the week for lunch and the place was packed, it's a small little spot that's clearly very popular and I can see why! The pizza was perfect in every way. There really isn't much else to say about it, make the trip, it will not let you down.

Last week though, we were all disappointed and I felt quite embarrassed having invited friends from across the city just for dinner here. The staff were friendly as always but the food took ages. I think it was 40 minutes before we received our first plates (4 small slices at a time). They were okay but no way near as good as before. Supposedly they have a new chef *sigh*. Way too much anchovy and odd toppings. We felt like they were deliberately trying to stop us eating a lot by providing us with really strange pizza toppings. Also, the dishes kept taking ages (maybe 20 or 30 minutes between dishes). This was definitely annoying as we had come on an empty(ish) stomach so that we could really stuff our faces. I really hope Ice & Slice up their game during the promotional deals. I don't think I'll be bringing friends back here. Despite that, ordering online still is amazing and the potato, pesto, cheese and sausage is one of the best photos I've ever had!
