    Korean fried chick'n burger
    Ashley J.

I was really excited to try Mildred's as I've heard so many great things. When I first arrived I immediately fell in love with the decor inside. They definitely succeeded in making the dining area feel so elegant and cozy at the same time. I ordered the Korean fried Chick'n burger with fries and it was pretty good. The only issue I had was the amount of mint leaves in the actually sandwich. It was a bit overpowering but I still enjoyed the chick'n component and sauce. Servers were very attentive and friendly. Would definitely come back when I'm in London!

Cute restaurant with good vegan food and lots of options. I recommend the burgers and chips! Worth checking out, especially if you are vegan.

Back in London, it's been way too long. I couldn't wait to go to Mildred's. Just recently reopened after getting a makeover. New look and amazing food and service as always. This is by far my favorite restaurant in London!! I had a tofu/cauliflower curry and an amazing sticky cake that were both decadent. Again cannot wait to go back.

It's vegetarian food gone posh...I like it! Came here with a friend for lunch and thought the overall experience was quite lovely. The food selection was great and our waiter helped us choose from the menu: I always like asking what their current favorite dish is. And the kimchi fried rice was indeed delightful! This is a place that I would come for a special occasion, not on a regular basis...it does feel celebratory. (And I did celebrate with a glass of 0% bubbly!)

Much room pie with puff pastry on top, a side of potatoes, some green stuff, and gravy. Delicious!!!

OMG, this was good! This tasted like beef stew, but it was vegan. The puff pastry on top was delightful. The service was excellent.

Extremely good service from a kind server. Food came out quickly and was excellent. I ordered the arancini which I would get again, and the mushroom pie which was also excellent. For a vegan pastry the top of the pie was super flaky and buttery.

Amazing vegan brunch. Chilaquiles were tasty. Kids loved the pancakes. The classic brunch served a vegan take on an English breakfast. The food was well prepared. The fresh squeezed apple, carrot and ginger juice was very nice. Overall great atmosphere, service and experience.

Diverse vegan menu; something for everyone. Had the corn ribs as an appetizer. Delicious. So much food we had no room for dessert. Very attentive wait staff. Beautiful restaurant, easy to find. Highly recommend!

Incredibly scrumptious! Service was stellar and a lovely vibe. One of the best meals I've had since being in London these past 11 days.

Amazing fully vegan plant-based restaurant in Soho. We got 3 sandwiches (Nashville hot chick'n, korean fried chick'n, and bbq pulled pok) and they were all excellent. The fries and sweet potato fries with them were also great. The alma bowl was good and we loved the fennel sausage and mash main. The sweet potato leek tortelloni were fantastic. We finished the tiramisu which was amazing. Love this place for amazing 100% plant-based food that has something for everyone! Easy for take out/takeaway (15-20 min wait) and they have a bit of outdoor seating, with tons of indoor seating. It looks small on the outside but is huge on the inside.

I've been going to Mildred's in soho for over 15 years. I remember it being one of my favorite places in London and I always loved the vibe. Tonight my food was cold, but when I sent I back it did come out hot (mostly, the onion rings were still not hot). The tofu my friend had was lovely. Staff were nice and on top of things.

    Hot mango pepper chicken burger

This was my second visit to Mildred's, my first in 2018. The ambiance is super cozy and the decor is lovely. We got a variety of menu items which we all loved, including a couple of burgers, Sri Lankan curry, lots of patatas bravas and hummus and aloo bonda. The best thing(surprisingly because usually I'm not a huge fan of cabbage) though was the charred Szechuan cabbage. It was so good and had chili oil and crispy chili bits. I'd go back just for that dreamy cabbage!

    Big chocolate cake

Great experience at Mildred's. The ambiance was nice and the service was very good. The flavor on all the food was amazing, especially the salt & pepper tofu bokkeumbap and hot mango glazed chick+n burger. Great salad and desserts as well.

The space alone is worth the visit--set inside a stunning cathedral with stained glass windows and beautiful woodwork, it's unlike anything else in London. Even the pulpit has been transformed into a gin bar, and there's also a German craft beer bar, which just adds to the uniqueness of the experience. The food options are incredible--basically something for everyone. We saw everything from homemade pasta and Napoli-style pizza to British grass-fed burgers, tacos and margaritas, pad Thai, Indian dishes, gelato, wine, and desserts like baklava and banana pudding. It's almost overwhelming (in a good way), and perfect for a group with different tastes. Seating is a bit of an adventure--main floor is first-come, first-served and fills up fast, the upstairs has limited small tables, and the basement offers more intimate, restaurant-style spaces that looked like they take reservations. My advice: get there early to grab a table, or plan to enjoy a drink while soaking in the lively, energetic atmosphere. Overall, an amazing spot for groups and a must-visit if you're in London and want great food, drinks, and a truly memorable setting. Until next time...

It was clean and roomy, and I liked the overall vibe. 4/5 SELECTION: It's all vegetarian (but they have labels for which are vegan, along with some other allergy notifications) and it's like a hot food bar, where you put whatever you want on a plate and then they weigh it, and you pay per 100g. There are 40 different dishes offered daily, including salads, hot dishes, and desserts. They also have drinks and cocktails. 3/5 WHAT I GOT: From what I remember/can see from my picture, I got white rice, mixed greens, bok choy, a grilled veggies mix, a green beans mix, a potatoes and peas mix and some of an artichoke dish. All of the stuff I got was vegan. It was all pretty good and tasted fresh and of good quality -- in fact, it was probably the best buffet/hot food type bar I've ever been to. None of it tasted like it'd been sitting out for a while, and none of it was undercooked or tasted too processed. The only complaint I have is that I wish they refrained from using oil, but it actually could've been much worse, so that's that. 3/5 SERVICE: The employees seemed friendly. I mean, we didn't really need to interact with them much, given the style of eatery, but they seemed nice lol. 4/5

We ordered the Teriyaki Soya VFish (£8.50) to start, which came with 4 smallish pieces of soya fish, grilled nicely, slightly charred -- very tasty but poor value for what you get. For my main, I got the Curry Laksa (about £15), and added tempeh (£2.50), since it comes with no protein by default (which is odd, since you'd expect at least tofu puffs). The broth was heavy on the citrus and not particularly authentic -- missing that turmeric and chili character you expect in a proper laksa -- and the toppings were kind of sparse. The noodles were also medium-thickness, whereas authentic laksa should be thin vermicelli and/or yellow noodles. Oh well. It was decent for what it is, but ultimately unsatisfying and not good value. Service: The 2 folks there were nice and helpful. They explained how the place works and let us stay long after closing while my friend and I were chatting.
