There's a selection of kid-friendly comic books at the back right corner and teen graphic novels to your right when you enter. New releases go up on the wall every Wednesday. I've been hunting MAD Magazines for the longest online doesn't help with people setting outrageous prices for them, once I collected my comics I asked the cashier if he had any MAD Magazines and once he said yes it was like the heaven sound I immediately left majority of the ones I had before and went through that box with an urge lol I found so many and took almost half since he had them for the best prices I didn't get the chance to get his name but the cashier knew his stuff me just browsing around and overhearing his conversation with someone else and him knowing so much about regardless of the topic I most certainly and definitely will be returning here no doubt it best service by far. The books here are mostly in brand new condition and sold at a heavily discounted price. Books from travel to cook books to novels to almost anything you can think of are available. If you have collectors to buy for they have a huge collection of Funko Pops to choose from. They also have old and new comic books with many used comic books only selling for a dollar or two each. A few packs of unopened sports card packs are for sale and don't leave the store without a pack of Jelly Bellies which are usually kept by the registers. On this visit they also had many holiday gift ideas on a few of the displays. Fun place to look at stuff and buy things you need or things you didn't know you need. Check it out because it's a fun place or just a place to pick out a new book.

It's basically the law - you're in San Marco square, you go to San Marco book store. The book selection is ever evolving so there is always some new treasure to discover among the stacks. And often, I find books in there less expensive than Amazon. And there is a selection of books with author signatures as well, for no additional cost. Some of the signed ones have been ordered from the publisher, but a good portion of those come from live author events the book store participates in. There are so many wonderful events you can attend here, like the author signings mentioned above (and of course a slew of other things) And often, those authors will sit for a chat. I discovered a new favorite author when I accidentally stumbled into one of those events. It was neat to hear her discuss her book and answer some great questions. The. Store is also very involved in the community around them which I love. (The owner even participates in the group walks in the area sometimes!) They also partner with the library for some larger author signings and other events. If you love reading, this is a must visit!

I popped by this post office yesterday in hopes of purchasing some postcard stamps to mail…read morepostcards to friends and family back home. There was only one employee working in this tiny post office, so though the line was only a few people deep, everything moved quite slowly. I waited in line for about 20 minutes only for the lone employee to tell me that she only had a 100 roll of postcard stamps and to suggest I go to a different post office for my needs. You wouldn't think postcard stamps would be such a big ask...
