A pretty nice brewery my family and I were happy to discover after tasting their Strawberry ale at Von Thun Farms strawberry festival (its 5 mins away from the farm, so knock two trips in one). The brewery is located on a main shopping center making it seem uninviting, but the vibe inside is quite nice with a pretty decent beer garden in the back, along with a back parking lot. Staff is wonderfully friendly, and the selection of beers is quite nice. The best part however, is they are still brewing pumpkin beer in June!! We all know it doesn't get better than that.

Everyone on the planet should try the Velvet Haze. Amazingly balanced IPA. Probably will be a medal winner if they enter it in a competition.

One thing about me, I'm gonna find a brewery. I had…read morepersonal matters to attend to at the nearby Warren County courthouse in Belvidere (mind your business). Afterwards, having fallen in love with the small town vibe, I decided to look for a sandwich shoppe. Curiosity and the beauty of German engineering got the best of me so I took a country drive out of town (and across state lines!) to PA. Opened Yelp and found this brewery just 5 miles down the road. Another thing about me: I'm my own best company - love a solo date. Done deal. The menu was gas! Bacon jam fries?? Apple butter wings?!?!? A beer list to die for?? Friends, I ate and drank bigly. Food: Fantastic. Yall know my thoughts on breweries with no food. This place can stand on its own as a restaurant without a liquor license. Seating: Tables, steel bar stools, indoor, outdoor, picnic tables - everything for everyone. Service: warm, friendly, attentive, helpful. Servers and barkeeps steered me right with each item I ordered. Space: It's gorgeous! Empty grain silos, vaulted and beam ceilings, a farm, taproom. So warm and cozy this time of year. It's a good hour+ from my house but when I tell you I will be back and bringing friends, I mean it. What a find! And btw it was the previous Yelp reviews that sold me so yall keep it up and tell us about it if you find a good spot.

What is outstanding to us is the care which all the staff and brewers show as they are there. Clearly the same love is widespread as the place was full on a Sunday afternoon. It is pleasing that many were there with their kids showing that this local business gives to the whole of the community. The enjoyment of brewing has moved past mere pub secrecy out to the whole of the community. A long calendar of events of all types from pub trivia to local music to sponsoring fellow food, eateries and holidays are all helpful to promote the family warranted nature of this business as it's clear with a large number of newborns and families as might be unusual and yet should be normalized. All staff are knowledgeable in the brewing and hospitality skills to succeed now and for the long run. Point of sale systems are able to keep open a tab and clearly distinguish ongoing bills. The marketing keeps rights with the sign ups of emails and keeping customer histories. Branding is consistent and relevant leading to a nice, smooth, comfortable customer experience. The two bathrooms are both individual and there are plenty of amenities like nooks and crannies the chat in and coat hooks and ledges and more private corners and food trucks rotate thru the good seasons and lots of lovely people always. Cheers!

Oakflower, just opened in 2022, was recommended time and time again, so we made this our first stop. I'm pleased to say it absolutely lived up to the hype. You can tell a brewery is serious about their beer when they don't offer flights or any kind of flavored seltzers. They are concentrating on making the best beer they can and it shows. 11 beers on tap with lots of hazy ales, a dangerously good 12.8% barrel aged stout, and a pale ale on nitro which I don't think I have ever seen before. We did a few tasters and a few full pours and everything we tried was fantastic. The taproom is spacious, airy, lots of plants and natural light which gave it a relaxed vibe. It was a Friday afternoon and was pleasantly full, with some of the bartenders passionately talking New York sports with some of the regulars. The friendly employees, the amazing beer, the well designed taproom, its location right across from an old train station in quaint downtown Millington... all of this together made for a perfect first visit. We live too far away to come back anytime soon, but we bought some beer to go to tide us over, and will definitely mention Oakflower to others when asked for brewery recommendations in North Jersey.

Drink responsibly. Thankfully, they offer different sizes, from tasters to pints. Great to know, especially if you love good beer - Weyerbacher has a varied selection and they're all superior. I've been chasing good Belgian beer since my trip to Belgium two years ago, but nothing stateside has ever compared. Weyerbacher is, arguably, some of the best beer in PA, if not the entire country. Yep - I said it. Their brewery location is huge, with indoor and outdoor seating. Food is BYO, and there was an onsite food truck the day we visited. On the Saturday afternoon we visited, there was a man with a guitar who was very pleasant to listen to. I'm not one for loud music, but I found his playlist and musicality added to the experience. The bartender was super kind and personable, and there is plentiful parking onsite. The space is accessible, and there is merch, beer to go, and other fun things for sale - besides the rotating 20 or so beers on tap. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Weyerbacher.

Outdoor seating area would've been nice if it wasn't for the fact that the food truck compressor was running maybe 20 feet away making an abysmal noise so we sat inside. There was plenty of parking.
