Beer, coffee, and some soft drinks. But it is a brewing company, so I'm only going to focus on…read morethat! Service is amazing; the beer is close to outstanding. They seem to try their best to have a cider from PA on rotation. They have a vinyl night (as in LPs) and the place is super cozy on a corner where there is a lot of parking available. The most amazing thing to me was hearing the bartender casually talking to someone and mentioning that all of their beer was gluten-reduced. Okay, what's that all about? Asking for further details, they use an enzyme to effectively drop the gluten out of the beer. It can't be called gluten-free because it comes from a gluten source. However, the amount of gluten left in the beer seems to fall below the standards for gulten content making it effectively gluten-free. Yeah, no promises from me -- or them, I believe, on that matter. I just found it fascinating with seemingly zero downside to taste! Amazing!

Our first visit to Bonn was moderately busy, but the staff took the time to answer questions, was friendly and knowledgeable, and was very attentive. Our second visit was slammed busy with a line practically out the door. I honestly didn't notice a difference or drop in service. Absolute all-stars. Beer: this place is a goldmine of English pub styles with outstanding milds and bitters. We worked our way through the tap list and couldn't find a beer that wasn't great. Parking: located next to two large parking lots (pay). Well lit. Food: none. Fuel up before you go. Atmosphere: small, quaint, but comfortable and welcoming. On our first visit, another patron at the bar told us, "I envy you...I wish I could experience this place again for the first time." It's that kind of place. You just click with the vibe and it feels good. On both visits here, we didn't want to leave. Overall: I brewed my first beer 25 years ago. I'm a certified beer judge. I've lived all over the US and traveled extensively. Not everyone is going to instantly click with this place, or fall in love with their style. I did, and I have. Bonn Place is in my top 20 favorite breweries in the US. Give them a try.

The guys behind the bar were awesome. They were friendly, had a ton of information on the local scene and most importantly on their product. We chatted about their beer menu, upcoming events, their to go offering and life. Very down to earth guys and the bar talk amongst the patrons was fun and friendly. Beer wise I had a Main 2 Main pilsner which was average and a Coconut Silent Partner, which is - "Silent Partner, our chocolate stout which is rested on organic Ecuadorian Cacao Nibs, is then infused with coconut. The deep chocolate, roasted and caramel notes blend well with the slight sweetness of the added coconut." I thought the Coconut Silent Partner was above average and very well put together. Food truck's grub was decent and the building itself was clean... even the bathrooms. It's a big location, lots of seating and was family and pet friendly with some outside seating along the main road. I snagged a couple of four packs to go and was on my way. I would definitely return to visit.

Finally! Another brewery! Not that I don't love brew works but I was getting seriously tired of…read moretheir microbrews. Hop hill brewing is as refreshing as their morning blonde brew! A blonde light colored beer with the taste of coffee! It's creative and it tipped the scale to me liking them! The location is a bit hidden but they have signs to direct you to where they are. It's a factory-ish building. The feel of the place is very in line with their story and culture of a couple of guys who started brewing from their garage. Parked outside will usually be different food trucks. If not, hop hill serves food from the inn down the street. It's such a creative business concept and makes the visit a unique experience every time. Inside the space, they have games at every table and a jenga set. They're pet friendly and i got the chance to play with several cute pups! They have about 7 different types of beers on tap. I already raved about their morning blonde. Their house brew is also quite good. They also have a blood orange IPA which is also creative and not as hoppy as other IPAs. The best is that they serve 4 4oz flights for $6. Its super cheap and u get to try basically every beer in two flights. My only suggestions would be to open for more hours and to brew some beers that are higher percentage in alcohol. All of the beers are about 5-7%. They also have a lot of IPAs.. I wouldn't mind trying some stouts or wheat beers. I wish these guys the best of luck and success. I'm sure they'll be moving to a bigger space or expanding in the next two years or so if they keep doing what they're doing!

Five star French fries. Excellent burger. Service was SUPER friendly, which is the main reason for…read morethe high rating here, because no one wants bad service with the price of going out these days. Overall, the bill wasn't too expensive either. However, the ambience is majorly lacking for how cool the historical building looks from outside. That was a big let down after years of seeing this in passing. It feels too much like a 90s coffee shop from Friends / a poorly converted modern bank lobby with the lighting, and the floor layout lacks flow if you're sitting at the bar. It would be an improvement to see historic qualities restored to the interior, rather than bland sheet rocking, no crown molding, etc. Aside from this, we found the music to be a very distracting and random selection of early 2000s dance, pop, EDM, emo, and rock, mixed with the occasional alt rock hit that was (finally) tolerable enough to fade into the background. The room is vacuous because of the high ceilings and hard building materials, so turning the volume down a little and choosing something consistent in tone (perhaps neo soul or just sticking to alt rock) would be beneficial for the overall atmosphere. Bottom line: would return again for the food, but the atmosphere wasn't what we expected and could be improved for a cozier, vintage styled atmosphere (but that's mostly a matter of preference). Friendly service, affordable prices, and good eats go a long way.
