I guess they are desperate to try to clean up all their negative reviews. Also, I have recordings of all our phone calls and video footage proving he did not even knock on my door (although he claimed he did). If I keep getting dishonest responses from them, I'm going to just make the publicly available online and point people there. I have had enough of being called a liar by crooked people. The phone call unprofessionalism is quite shocking. Worst "company" I have ever dealt with. Installed an HVAC and it broke down a few months later. At first it would just not keep the house warm, but then the HVAC completely died when it got really cold. I called them, and Christina was a no-show multiple times. I was polite every time I called, but Randy B. ended up calling me "trash" and then telling me to "go f*** yourself" before hanging up on me. I don't even know why he did that. I could just not pin him down to if/when he would come look at my HVAC. I guess he got mad. They didn't even register my HVAC so I had a 5-year warranty instead of the 10-year warranty I was supposed to have. Didn't leave me any documentation, didn't even tell me they didn't register it. I found out when I got another contractor to replace my compressor, which Randy should have done under warranty, but refused. He uses Christina's account to respond on here saying my review was "not accurate", yet all my phone calls are recorded and I have the proof. Then to avoid discussing what exactly is "inaccurate", they cite private information somehow as if it's HIPAA or something. There's nothing private about an HVAC install, fellas. Watch out... they operate under multiple company names and have multiple company pages on Yelp. They both wrote themselves multiple fake 5-star reviews for their own company (operating under two different company names, so be careful). I reported the 3 fake reviews that I saw on this particular company page, and Yelp said they have been removed. I'm sure their other company page has similar fake reviews. And this one may have more that I couldn't identify. Note that they have more 1-star reviews than 5-star reviews. That's should be a bad sign right there. This company is as scammy as it comes. They got my original, detailed review removed from here because I posted the exact same review to both the companies they operate that I know about. i have been trying to get in contact with this company for the past 3 weeks. i purchased 2 hvac units for house and along with them a "warranty" of $900 each. finally, the time comes that i need to use this "warranty" and i cant get anyone on the phone to come service my units. it has been a consistent 90 degrees hot in my house for the past 3+ weeks now. clearly, they are not honoring this service contract i purchased. there main number is listed everywhere. Ending in 2400. and they do not answer this line. it is always a voicemail. no one ever returns my calls or voicemails i leave. I had to actually search the internet and Google to find additional phone numbers for this company. Even the address that Google shows is showing some pinpoint on a highway in Myrtle Beach in front of an RV sales place which clearly that's not real and sketchy. Finally found a phone number off the Better Business Bureau website for these people. Sounds like the owner name is Randy. He doesn't answer the phone either, but after I left a voicemail for first time calling Randy. someone calls me back on the MAIN PHONE NUMBER ending in 2400 I've been calling for the past three + weeks. Christina, the one that I finally talked to. Which is telling me they do have access to this phone number and they are getting the voicemails. clearly they're "choosing" to not return any calls or voicemails. And to prove that they're listening to my voicemails she tells me information that I did not tell her on the phone, but I only mentioned through the numerous voicemails i have left on their main number i've been calling. She has no sympathy or empathy that I've been calling for so long. And then there's apparently an after hours assistant named Maria; she's completely useless. She'll only communicate through text and even then she'll just stop communicating through text. If she doesn't feel like talking to you anymore, Complete ghost You. She won't answer the phone or talk to you on the phone either. talking with Christina, Finally, I get an appointment for someone to come and look my unit. the appointment comes and they don't show up. No one showed up for 2 1/2 hours after the appointment. no one ever did show. I'm taking time out of my day to make sure I'm available for this appointment and no one shows up. No one calls. No one Text, no communication. Now I have to start trying to calling to get someone with this company on the phone again. again, no one answers all numbers listed. Finally get a return text from Randy after I left him a voicemail again. Which seems like his number needs to be the main number for this company since no one answers any of the other phone numbers or returns calls. His excuse claims he was under a house at the moment. It's always excuse excuses every time I get some type of communication with this company. Completely unprofessional this business. i wouldnt be trying so hard to get in contact with them if i didnt have this warranty i purchased from them on this units. update: after texting the owner Randy and him assuring me of an appointment from himself to make a visit to look at my system. the time comes and no one shows again!. not even a call or text to let me know what's going on. the owner himself wont show for an appointment he sets for himself for a customer. so now thats 2 "scheduled" visits i have made with this company and no one showed. no one called, text nothing. days, weeks later i still have not gotten a follow up from no one with this company. i spent all this money getting this hvac system install and purchased a warranty with them and they are not honoring this purchase. avoid business with this company. read more

Called Air Time because my 5 ton package unit went out. Got a quote and they installed it the next day. Took a total of about 2 hours and had my restaurant back up and running with air conditioning. They also maintenance all my other units. They are fast, affordable, and the best around. I recommend them to everyone!!! read more

my air conditioner quit working on a Saturday. Not really expecting and answer on the weekend, Christina answered the phone and got Randy to my house right away! Randy got it fixed and it was an affordable price, esp. being the weekend. will never use anyone else. Will recommend Air Time to everyone!!! read more

I thought this company did great on the install of a complete HVAC system, and then when it got cold, we froze our butts off and when contacted they told me it was just because the weather got so cold! When I persisted they finally came out and looked, months later. Low and behold...they had forgotten to install the HEAT STRIPS in the installation!! Holy Cow! How do you miss this? And then they agreed to come back and install them. Great! Well...except they NEVER returned! Despite more than 100 calls and texts to Christina Byrd over the next year-plus, they would NEVER respond! What a sham of a company when they operate like this! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I would give Air Time of the Carolinas a ZERO RATING if I could! Why my home warranty company continues to use Air Time of the Carolinas for service calls is beyond me as well! This company has the absolute WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE of any HVAC service company I have ever dealt with! First of all, Christina told me that she would show up at my house some time between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Well, 10:05 AM rolls around and no phone call, text or sign of her anywhere, so I call her phone number and leave a message. She calls me back and says that she's currently at another house doing a service call and probably won't get to my house until 11:00 AM! Wow. Okay. Whatever. When her and what looked like a service worker in training finally show up, she reeks of cigarette smoke and both of them track dirt up and down my stairs and into my master bedroom and walk-in closet. Neither of them slipped booties over their shoes. When they are finally done with the service call, Christina charges my credit card $100 for the service call and has me sign her tablet for the charge and asks me how I want the invoice delivered to me, by text message or email. I tell her to please email me the invoice and proceed to SPELL OUT my email address by letter and number while she supposedly types it into her tablet and sends it to me. Guess what? I never receive an invoice. By the afternoon, I decide to call her and ask her to please email me the invoice again so I have it for my own record. I leave a voice message on her phone and spell out my email address again. Two days go by and still no invoice. I call AGAIN and leave another voice message because these people never answer the phone, and spell out my email address AGAIN. Two more days go by and I STILL don't receive an invoice. That Friday I look up their business hours on their website and see that they are open from Monday through Friday from 8am - 5pm, so I drive all the way to their office in Conway at 3:00 PM and knock on the office door three separate times. No answer and the door is locked and all their trucks are parked in front of the building and it's obvious that they closed up for the day some time before I got there, even though their website clearly states that they are open until 5:00 PM during the week!!! I call both of the phone numbers listed on their website and, surprise, surprise, nobody answers the phone! So, I leave a FOURTH voice message telling them my name and phone number but don't say what I am calling about thinking maybe that will cause them to at least call me back. NOPE! No call back and to this day, I STILL have never received an invoice from them. Oh, and to make matters even worse, they never even contacted the home warranty company to tell them what will need to be done to repair my HVAC system! I had to call up my home warranty company and ask them to please send a different HVAC service company out to my house to do a new service call. The owner of that company even told me over the phone that he's had to redo a bunch of service calls and repairs that were originally done by Air Time of the Carolinas and he wonders why my home warranty company continues to even use them! Your customer service is a COMPLETE JOKE, Air Time of the Carolinas!!! How you are still in business is a complete mystery! I have a feeling that most of your good reviews on other review sites are FAKE! Hopefully, my home warranty company will stop using you ASAP!!! read more

We have a home warranty and this company was assigned to fix our Heating that was not working anymore. They came out 10/22/22 to asses the problem and advised that they would need to order a part and have it approved through the warranty. It was approved 10/24/22 and an appointment was set up 11/5/22. On 11/5 no one showed up and when I finally got a hold of the company they told me that they had no record of an appointment. I provided the email for the date and time that is was confirmed. They told me they would let me know when they would be able to come out to fix this so we could have heat. From then on its been crickets, I called multiple times on Monday and left voicemails and nothing. The home warranty company tried calling and they could not get a hold of anyone either. I gave it another 24 hours to see if I would get any response and still nothing. At this point it is getting close to 3 weeks without this being fixed. I am not sure what has happened, but this is very unacceptable from any company to leave a customer without fixing the problem they evaluated in the first place. We have a 9 month old at the house and it is going to be in the 40's this weekend and we still do not have our heat fixed and no one from the company can be reached. It is very unfortunate that we are caught in this position, but I would not recommend this company to anyone after this experience and now not knowing if we will have heat when the cold starts to come in. read more

We initially used them with a maintenance contract for our unit that the builder installed. In 2019, they sold us whole new unit, and told us it had a 10-year warranty. In May 2021, it was not working, and the employee advised we needed new thermostats, and we elected to make one of them internet compatible, so the cost was $500. For the next 2 weeks, we had the same employee back multiple times to fix the system because it would not shut off unless we turned it off at the breaker. After one "repair" it was only blowing hot air during 85 degree weather. We finally asked for the owner to come look at the system, and he did. He was incredibly rude and even aggressive to the point we were afraid to even engage him. The system still did not work, and we learned that when installed, some parts were missing (such as the cover for the air handler). When I called to terminate our contract, the owner laughed at me when I told him we had spent thousands of dollars with them, and then became aggressive and threatening, to the point I informed him he would not be allowed back onto the property. We hired another company who fixed the system, and then we learned that this company never registered our brand new system in 2019, so we only have a 5-year warranty. The workmanship and particularly the customer service has sharply declined in the last year or 2. Beware. read more
