I called before coming here and explained I was on my way from another nail salon with just nail…read moretips glued on one hand. They said that was fine. I go and they say they need to do a soak off. I personally do nails and knew that this did not require a full soak off, but whatever, I let them do what they thought was best.
I asked how much would it be for a short French tip, she originally said 75$, then a little while later, said she wouldn't know until I was done, which I found weird.
I noticed while doing my nails, she reused the nail bit that was used on previous clients on me, as the bit was filled with white dust from previous clients and she kept flipping it around because it was old and not working efficiently. My nails were burning and she kept hurting me, which I know happens, but I have never experienced. Then she reused 2 nails files from previous clients on me, as well as cuticle cutters. I was also told to go wash my hands and was expected to reuse an old nail brush used by previous clients.
I ended up asking for a solid color as I noticed the work wasn't good, and I was too far in, and I wanted to just leave as the environment was unpleasant. My nails turned out lumpy and bad, and I was charged 85$ for a horrible work and horrible customer service.
I told the owner that $85 dollars is a crazy amount for short, solid colored acrylics, that looked horrible. she could not provide any explanation or breakdown for what I was paying for except 10 dollars for the soak off then 75 for the nails.
I tried to understand why I was paying $75 for not only bad work, but such simple nails. She automatically became rude. I payed and left. I then realized my receipt was not itemized and I called back to request an itemized receipt to try and understand what it is that I paid for. Nobody would pick up, so I went there.
Before I could even speak to the owner to ask for the reciept, a police officer walked in. She called the police. I then explained the situation to the officer. She tried to use her pricing board as an excuse and told me to refer to the price board if I had an issue to which I explained to the officer that that doesn't make sense because she didn't use the price board when giving me a price so the board is irrelevant to the situation.
