On a Saturday afternoon, we noticed what we thought may be a bee hive under the eaves of our roof at the front of the house. But in looking at it closely and trying to tap it with a long stick, it looked like a wasp nest. After calling a few places, we connected with Fernando. He asked the size of the hive/nest, which was about the size of an orange. He was straight forward on the call on pricing: $150 for the first removal and said they'll usually be more around the house and they'll do a visual inspection. For each additional they find, it'll be $25. He managed to get a technician out within an hour, as they were finishing up another job. The technician sprayed foam and scraped off the hive/nest. Then he walked around the entire perimeter of the house checking for more. And sure enough, there was another hive/nest being formed on the other side of the house and a smaller one at the very inner top of our garage roof eaves. The technician got a ladder and got rid of both. The technician also said to keep an eye out if we see 4-5 wasps flying around and to call them. They'll do a follow up service, complimentary. Fernando and his team used a thermal camera to locate the hives to see how big they were. They removed the hives and sealed the areas so bees would not return. They do not repair or paint. Fernando anticipated having to cut out a piece of the plywood/roof, and it was possible that a hole would be left behind, which would have to be patched by someone else. However, his team cut and was able to replace the plywood and seal it. CLEANLINESS: The team arrived and prepped the area. After completion, the team swept and washed the area.
