We have had Dewey Pest Control for several years. It is so far above any other Pest Control Companies my friends have. Oscar is great! I can always count on him calling me to schedule every other month to cleanse our property of unwanted critters. He always shows up when he says he will. The few times we have had an ant infestation he has come back to respray a heavier dose to rid us of them. Look no further, you need to call Dewey Pest Control. read more

Dewey Pest & Termite Control - Pest Control Near Me - Burbank, California

I cannot say enough good about the people at Dewey Pest Control (Burbank). Today they sent over two techs to look into the Bee problem we've been having. Both gentlemen were polite and professional. They looked over the house and old entry points that the bees had made the year before (built two hives , one in the chimney and the other inbetween the walls of the utility room) and discovered that a recon or pre swarm had come last week and as the scouts did not come back to report on what they found (they met with bad endings) that the recon swarm moved on elsewhere:) They offered to do a preventative measure but as there were no bees and no signs of them while the techs were here and we looked over the place throughly, the service was not pushed on me, they were simply happy to come over, assess and give me a solid report:) Anyone else might have tried to impress a costly service, but not Dewey!!:) I so appreciate the service I get from the people at Dewey (Burbank office) Pest Control, again always polite, happy to help and never do I get talked down to or disrespected. Glad they are our go to Pest Control service... read more

(Serviced 08/01/19 TH @ 10:00am, many times before, and certainly after): Just do it; give these guys a call and put an end to pests! Dewey Pest Control's Burbank office, which covered the 818 area code within the cities of Burbank, North Hollywood, and outlying periphery, has been a business partnership for my family and I for over 15 years specifically at our North Hollywood rental property. We've already had existing working relationships with other branches over the years who handled other rental properties, so would we expect anything less!?: QUICK BIO Founded by Ray M. Dewey in 1929, it began as a one-man operation that has since flourished into an organization of hundreds of technicians, crew workers, inspectors, fumigators, and office personnel. In 1977, Steven R. Dewey purchased the company from his father. Today, this family-owned business has 32 branches throughout California. They offered a slew of pest control services based on one's needs. PURCHASE Standard Monthly Service ($54.00): This chosen service option treated the given property once a month for general pest control of a myriad of critters (ants, mice, roaches, spiders, silverfish, etc.) which included up to two units, any laundry and storage rooms, and the entire exterior. Sadly, this didn't include bedbugs or bees which were expensive separate charges. This specific service was just right for the particular 10-unit complex this branch covered. SERVICE From time-to-time, I called and spoke with one of the many friendly and helpful Customer Service Reps. at the end of the previous month to schedule treatment for the following month to having dealt with the technician the date of the treatment, everyone along the way has been easy to work with and professional. In recent times as we've become familiar with each other, I've been able to directly contact our pest technician to schedule an appointment who would then relay it to the main office. Thankfully, a specific scheduled date and time has been streamlined for a more ease. When you made an appointment, you were usually given a 2-hour courtesy window, which wasn't bad at all. A special acknowledgement went to Arthur P. who was the primary Pest Technician for this property for the past couple years. His affable, cheerfulness, efficiency yet attention-to-details (his service calls lasted between 10-20 minutes total), extremely informative knowledge, and patient demeanor were always appreciated. He also made sure to tag each unit and/or property as proof of his service. On this particular visit, he explained to both a tenant and myself how to prepare and treat for an infestation of roaches (i.e. normal cleanliness was key along with shored-up gaps and openings anywhere). PARKING (N/A) Since their business was all about coming to your location, out of courtesy you tried to have a convenient spot for them to park their vehicle https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=5I0Qy1V9Z6C2r7ME3tJ_Cw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. Otherwise, they were more than happy to park out on the street. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Although they had an actual office building, that was rather inconsequential since the real place of business was at any given property where the service was needed. ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL The relationship with Burbank's Dewey Pest Control branch has been a wonderful one thus far, and I was impressed top to bottom with everyone I've dealt with, and enough couldn't be said about Arthur the Pest Technician. Sure, there were potentially cheaper options elsewhere, but whenever possible I liked to support small family-owned businesses, and I've already had exceptional service with other technicians at other properties. And with the acquisition of a new rental property in Burbank a couple years ago, it was a no-brainer to give them my family's business (a different pest technician handled that property). I found total value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $54.00; no tip required). And...they accepted my credit card of choice...AMEX! 5.0 STARS read more

Dewey Pest & Termite Control - The Pest Truck - Arthur is my Technician (08/01/19). #NorthHollywood #DiePestsDie - Pest Control Near Me - Burbank, California

Did not take care of the problem AT ALL! The person who came out barely checked the traps each week and did not replace the bait week-over-week. What rodent wants stale bait? The customer service lady on the phone (I believe Yvonne was her name?) was extremely condescending and did not do anything to assuage my concerns. Had to switch to another company after this. I found Dewey Pest Control and started using its services about two years ago. I would like to thank the company for its service, particularly Art, their technician from the Burbank branch, who takes care of our building. Art is always punctual, respectful, and professionally adept. He shows a clear understanding of our concerns, provides comprehensive explanations, and ensures quick and effective pest control solutions. His ability to target the root cause of the problems for lasting control is commendable. To summarize, I am happy to receive this quality service, which is worth every penny. Thank you for making our building a safer and cleaner place. read more

This is now my 3rd review and that should tell you something. I keep coming back due to the good work, fair price and clear communication I receive from all at this company. Evonne in the office communicates with staff and keeps me informed. Dennis did an accurate inspection and gave me a clear estimate. Jose is a master carpenter and did beautiful work on the wood repair. I would highly recommend their service to anyone. read more

We used Dewey pest control to fumigate our home for termites and we are so glad we did. We had gotten ripped off in the past by exterminators and feel like we got a really good value with Dewey and really trustworthy people. Dennis was amazing. He was quick to come out with a quote and very quick to schedule us for the fumigation. He is also just a very pleasant person which made the experience that much nicer. It was really no stress. The tenting process was quick and when we noticed little things after the tent came off, Dennis and his team came back the very next day to address our small issues. If you need exterminators you should feel very confident in choosing Dewey read more

couldn't help myself to give this company one star for being conducting unrealizable dishonest business. This company agent would just come in leave invoice and walks out without treating. I didn't notice that until I start seeing problems, checked cameras, the tech is in, 5 minutes later he is out. Canceled the service. 1 year received a call from collection department which claims that I owe them cancellation fee. Great, never gotten an invoice for that one read more

I started Dewey Pest Control in June 2023 after I had disappointing service from Corky's. Dewy's technician, Mario, comes to my house each month shortly after 8 am when the service is promised via a text message the previous day. I visited their office and met the nice ladies who set up paperless/automatic billing. Everything is done professionally and doesn't cause any headaches. The best thing is that I didn't have a single mosquito bite yet this year and that the crickets are no longer annoying me. Of course no more ants, roaches or spiders either. I highly recommend Dewey's services which are provided at a reasonable price in Burbank where I have my property. read more

I am highly recommending Dewey in Burkbank to spray your home or apartment building for all pest....Roaches, Spiders, Ants, etc. The staff is amazingly friendly, professional and cooperative. There are two individuals that stands out and go above and beyond the call of duty....that is Supervisor DANNY and Technician ROBERT. These two young in my humble opinion is rated a "10 +" They are the best for your jobs. They are very helpful, efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, professional and welcoming. Oscar came out to inspect the house and he was easy to talk to and clearly showed me what he can do do rid my yard of ants galore! They called me and made an appointment for monthly spray and trap inspection even with it appearing to be a 1 time visitor. However Friday came and went. No show, no call. Again disappointed with this company. Update 9-18-18. I got a CYA email and message on yelp here. Instead of apologizing or simply saying it was overlooked it implied I didn't follow up. I am not sure if those communication are viewable by other users. I have never had a company not provide a standing appointment I.e. 1st Friday each month between 10-12. I still happen to have the call dates in/out on my phone and times and the minutes used. More than anything the email/yelp post upsets me more than the no call no show. They charge a large cancellation fee. $150 so buyer beware. read more

Good customer service is so hard to come by these days. So when you get GREAT SERVICE people need to know it exists!! My house had severe termite damage as you can imagine there is so much involved in preparation. Had issues with insects during the summer. Our backyard is a jungle since we have a lot of greenery. Decided to contact Dewey since it had good reviews. Oscar came out and did the initial inspection and gave us a quote, there was no pressure and also gave us good tips as well. We decided to go with Dewey and Oscar came out and serviced our property including removing a large wasp nest. We noticed quite a different since that time as we've seen less of the pesty insects. Oscar was fantastic, very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Dewey if you're looking to get rid of insect problems. read more

I found out I had German roaches. IN MY KITCHEN. After some research I discovered they are very hard to get rid of. I was upset, my husband tried to buy a bunch of different things to get rid of them. Finally I just hired Dewey. Never saw another roach. The end...now they come once a month for the outside. I also recently had a rat and called them. They said they didn't want to take my money and told me how to catch it. Rat gone. Dewey is THE BEST!! read more

Call Dewey first. I made the mistake and went with a different service. After that different service provided their first service the ant problem in my kitchen was worse and a huge wasp nest formed by laundry door. The tech forgot to address the ant problem in my kitchen and didn't sweep the house. The company kept rescheduling service and the problems were worsening. After two weeks of no shows from the other company I called Dewey. Dewey had a tech out the next day. The ants are gone along with the wasp. Our second service was just performed and I couldn't be happier. The service tech is friendly and informative. The office staff is friendly. So far the Dewey team has provided us with a pest free home along with efficient, thorough, and friendly service. read more

I have been a customer of Dewey Pest Control (Burbank) for 8 years. We hired them because we were having an issue with ants. Rex was assigned to be our service technician and for the last 8 years he has been like family. He does an outstanding job but moreover he is one of the friendliest people on the planet. If needed and he comes in to spray in the house he always takes the time to greet our curious cats and reminds me to keep them away for the hour until the spray dries. Dewey is a true family company and Eva at the desk is always so friendly and takes care of everything from customer service to billing with a smile and a friendly voice. I highly recommend Dewey. Plus they rid our home of termites a few years ago without the need of tenting my place. Great people to do business with and for almost a decade. read more

We have been Dewey customers for the length of time we have owned our home - nearly 25 years! They have always been extremely responsive to our concerns and requests including indoor treatment when necessary and even identifying a couple of unknown pests we have discovered over the years. Additionally, we have been covered by Dewey's Termite Control program. This year's inspection by technician Lance Jones was extremely professional and thorough as he checked inside, outside and even under our home. Fortunately, there was no evidence of any level of infestation; however, Lance pointed out the advanced areas of dry rot which our "rafter tails" are currently experiencing. As such, he returned a few days later and provided us with an estimate for the necessary repairs as well as our overall termite inspection report. We appreciate everyone from management to office personnel to our onsite technicians and highly recommend Dewey Pest Control in Burbank. read more

We had an ant problem like all of our neighbors. We called Dewey Pest Control and like magic the ants were gone. When we decided to set up a schedule I thought we would have to have them come out monthly. Greg Davis assured me that every other month was enough. He was right. It is not often we find this kind of honesty these days. Also on his first visit he walked the property with me and showed me where they liked to live. We cut back the plants and there has been no problem since. Glad to say that we are staying in the local area and will call Dewey first when the need arises. read more

I thought Dewey Pest Control and Greg Davis, out of your Burbank office, were excellent and responsive. Though I am only into the first week of my service, I feel confident that if there is a problem with ants and spiders, Greg will respond to it above and beyond what it called for.
