I've been using Busy Bee to manage one of my vacation rentals, for over a year. They are very dependable. The one time I had a problem with a cleaner, they replaced the cleaner with a new lady who's been great. That's the lesson. If you hire an individual, you have to worry about replacing them if something goes wrong, or worry about them getting sick on the day you need the place cleaned. Busy Bee makes sure that my apartment is always cleaned on time and on budget. I highly recommend them. read more

We used them to clean our facility. They often did not show up for their 7 day a week cleaning obligation and billed us. We also have footage of their cleaners doing things you would not want done in a place of business. The workers they sub-contract have no supervision or ability to communicate properly. I used Busy Bee Cleaning service after my broker recommended them to do a deep cleaning of my recently purchased and empty apartment. I instructed them to leave anything that was in the cabinets. First I noticed that all my beauty products under the sink were gone when I returned to the apartment. I had several at home covid tests that were also gone. When I spoke to Busybee management, I was told they were thrown away even though much of it was unopened and new. Clearly they were stolen. I had brought items to the apartment that I didn't want to get lost in the move and secured them deep inside a closet. Again, I instructed them not to touch anything and leave everything. The cleaner robbed me. I did some investigation and no one else was in the apartment at the time the Busy Bee cleaner was there. I instructed the staff to let her in, and they did so. Then they saw her leave. She stole Louis Vuitton wallets that were supposed to be gifts, she stole several earrings, rings, heirloom items, ear pods, luggage tags, old wallets, make up. I don't even know everything that was stolen because there was a lot of items and no inventory. By the way, I don't even think she cleaned the apartment. Busy Bee did nothing to rectify the situation stating that it could not be proven. They didn't even reimburse me. The clean was just a small percentage of the dollar value of what was stolen from me that day. Needles to say, they will not get my business again and I advise everyone to think twice about using them. It clearly was their staff that invaded my privacy. read more

Unfortunately, we are having a really disappointing relationship with management. Worst costumer service experience in a long time. Not unhappy with the cleaners but yes with management. We where pretty disappointed once, raised that, and where asked for a second chance, after that, we had another bad experience, however since we only have one "official complaint" to date, we are forced to keep a service we are unhappy with. We hired Busy Bee and they cleaned our office without incident for several months. Then, inexplicably, they stopped. No notice to us whatsoever, except a former employee who visited our office and attempted to tell us about alleged poor labor conditions. I have no idea if that was legitimate or not, but after that, we received sporadic service at best from them. After several attempts to get in touch with anyone (and repeated promises that the receptionist would find someone who knew was going on, to no avail), we told them we were terminating our service and moving to another vendor. Immediately after I notified them of this, the owner began harassing us, claiming several unpaid invoices and (even more strangely) that we had absconded with their cleaning supplies. They actually sent an employee to our door to try to shake us down for unpaid invoices, and began threatening legal action (and we're talking about like $600 total here). The quality of the actual cleaning services was quite fine, but if you sign up with Busy Bee you're taking a risk of being suddenly left without service and then facing some serious nastiness if and when you try to separate and find another vendor. read more

Busy Bee has provided the compnay I work for with excellent service. They have made the impossible possible. They have helped us during our busiest seasons getting 1,500 hundred student rooms cleaned and waxed simultaneously. I can reach the owner Greg around the clock with any issues and he is quick to recitfy any situation that needs to be handled. It's been 5 years of working with Busy Bee and every year gets better! I have also referred Busy Bee to clients needing their houses cleaned and I have heard very positive feedback on the cleaning and organization of their apartments. I never take the time to write reviews, but feel obligated to warn existing and potential new customers of the horrible customer service at Busy Bee. After being a loyal customer for almost a year, Leslie, the woman who books our appointments asked if she could send a new cleaner. At this point, I had absolutely no problem with it... Fast forward to 5 hours later. I came home to find THREE rugs had bleach stains all over them in addition to stains all over our new couch!??? How is that even possible? I can see ruining one item, but this person moved from room to room destroying any rug in her path! We are talking about thousands of dollars in damage. When I wrote Busy Bee to tell them what happened I was shocked even more. Instead of being apologetic and helpful they essentially said, "Sorry, Prove it." I left my house in perfect condition and came back to 4 damaged items and that's all they had to say for themselves. Isn't the entire purpose of using a company instead of an independent person ( who is always much cheaper) that they have insurance in case of emergencies like this? Leslie is completely professional when it comes to booking appointments and taking your credit card. When it comes to owning up to damaged property? Not so much. After several e-mails she told me my info was with "upper management" -- but refuses to give me the contact details of the person who is "handling" this. We run a school and hired this company to clean for us. The service and overall experience was TERRIBLE! They did not show up multiple days--more than 15 in the first 40 days! When we called to complain, they were disrespectful and rude and never took responsibility--blaming it on others. Their "after hours" number never gets you a call back--even days later! I wish that I could be as enthusiastic as the other reviewers about Busy Bee. I just moved to NYC and asked around my building for a reliable cleaning service. Busy Bee came highly recommended. When I spoke with the owner, Greg, he was very pleasant and seemed like a great guy. We set up a time for the following week. On the scheduled day, he called and asked if his crew could come the next day due to a scheduling conflict. I told him that it was perfectly fine. However, what transpired the next day immediately changed my impression of Busy Bee - and especially Greg. The cleaning lady (who was incredibly nice) showed up on time, but without supplies. In our introductory conversation, Greg had never explained that their crew did not bring supplies, or - more importantly - that it would cost an extra $30. The lady said that, since it was a weekend, she wouldn't be able to access the supplies until Monday. I said - fine... just wanting the apt clean. About 20 min after she left, I get a call from Greg, who immediately accuses me of "not letting his crew clean the apartment." Say what? I calmly explained what happened and he rudely said: "well, you should have told me that you needed supplies when we spoke." Now I'm getting irritated. Why is it my responsibility to inquire about supplies - esp if he knew that there was an add'l charge? He then told me that he would be charging an additional $60 (on top of the $90 for cleaning and $30 for supplies) for the girl having to go back to the office and come back to the apt. I would have laughed in his face if I wasn't so appalled at his complete and utter lack of professionalism. I said that was ridiculous, given his omission, and he retorted: "forget it then, we aren't coming at all." Finally, we agree on something. Perhaps the cleaning crew of Busy Bee is good. Like I said before, the lady who came was super nice. However, Greg was so unprofessional and disrespectful that everything else is irrelevant. I will never recommend his business. read more

I had a basement cleaning, post-construction at my retail boutique in Soho. Each & every product, sample, tester, shopping bag, shelf and floors were absolutely covered in a harsh dust. Busy Bee sent a few cleaners to do the job at a reasonable price. They cleaned absolutely every little item, every shelf with zero dust left behind! It was SUCH a project, I did not know how it would ever get done, but in just a day's work they left our basement stock-room area clean and manageable again! Absolutely superb job! read more

We have one particular cleaner, Barbara, who has been cleaning our office for a while now and I've had the pleasure of running into her once or twice and can say that she absolutely does her job with a smile. I couldn't count the number of times I've needed a last minute cleaning on one of our "off" days and she always delivers even at the last minute!!!! I really appreciate that I can depend on her and her work. Busy Bee Cleaning were tasked with cleaning my new apartment before I moved in. They did a fabulous job and left no stone unturned. It was wonderful being able to move in knowing that everything was spick and span. I happened to be in the apartment for the final hour while the team put the final touches on my apartment. I watched the wonderful Theresa work diligently and efficiently and knew then that I would retain BB's services from that time on. They really went the extra mile in requesting additional equipment (a ladder) to be able to reach the ceiling fan/light and clean it properly. I just moved into my new apartment, and was disappointed that I couldn't put my furniture in or unpack right away because of all the dust and trash left behind from the construction done before I moved in. I was really frustrated because the landlord said he didn't clean up after construction was done in the apartments. I couldn't unpack anything until it was cleaned. I called Busy Bee and explained my situation to them. The young woman on the phone was very patient and helpful ( even when I didn't know the square footage of the apartment, so I just told her it had one bedroom). She explained to me that what I needed was a post construction clean up and that she would inform her sales department that the cleaning was urgent. Within half an hour another young woman named Jezenia called me and told me the earliest they could send someone was in a day. She said that the cleaner would be provided at an hourly rate for a minimum of three hours. I gave them my credit card information, she told me I would be charged after the cleaning was done. She also gave me the option of having the supplies delivered at an extra charge or that she could email me the list to see if I had any of the items already. After looking at the list, I told her it was alright that I would get the stuff since I figured I'd need them anyway now that I had moved in. I scheduled the cleaning for Thursday morning. A charismatic man named Richard arrived on time, asked where the supplies were and got to work. I left to run some errands and when I returned he was almost done. He stayed for about 3 and a half hours and the apartment was spotless. He even helped me move some boxes out of the hallway into my room. Busy Bee gets 5 stars in my book for being so helpful, and one whole star goes to Richard who worked the entire time with a smile on his face. If I ever need cleaning I'll call Busy Bee. read more

I was very disappointed with my experience with BusyBee. After ordering a buffering and polishing, I was under the impression that my floors were going to have a nice new shine after the cleaning process. When I saw the finished product, they looked worse than before, and some spots looked shiny, while others were dull and still scuffed. After going back and forth with the account manager and head manager, they explained to me that they simply did a buffing to fill out scratches, but that I would need to have the floors refinished or refurbished if I wanted them to have a nice new look and shine. Furthermore, they said this is a common missunderstanding that people tend to have. I said I would have appreciated someone explaining this to me before they took my $400, but they said that there was nothing more they could do, and they do not refinish wood floors anyway. I would not use this place again, it seems they like to bait and switch their customers, and do not go above and beyond to make displeased customers happy. read more

Absolutely awful cleaning service. Nothing was cleaned as there was grime, dust, and hair on even the easiest surfaces to clean. Were it not for the stale smell of dirty rags (even though the cost of supplies including paper towels is extra) I would have thought nobody had even come to clean. so these people called for me to get hired on Monday 8.12.2019 - i went in 8/14/2019. i was originally told on the interview that the job was based by hour ($15) . i walked in on my first day, things were already going downhill. i was given a bucket by "supervisor" Stephany with one or two supplies. Weird. I kid you not, these rooms were so filthy. the bathrooms were literally moldy and black. they also expected us to vacuum everything plus the drawers.ong story short- we find out they don't pay you by hour- they pay you by the room you clean. After you are done cleaning your rooms- they made us wait almost two hours for this so called supervisor Stephanie to come around and check the rooms. literally a whole day wasted. If that's not bad, the lady Stephanie made the whole day terrible. Mind you she is Hispanic just like us, but seems more like a racist Hispanic. she even asked before leaving " are you sure you want to come back tomorrow?" just with that question itself aggravated me, and i said of course. i wasn't going to please her about not coming back. i walk in today a little before 8 AM 8/14/2019- waited an hour and a half- no one showed up but to other new employees from yesterday. we waited- no supervisors no stephany- not a soul. i call the agency and was told that that Job site was completed yesterday and there isnt anything else to do. are you serious?! why was we not told this yesterday? why would you just hire us for one day and dont mention nothing. Now this makes me ask myself, am i actually going to get paid for yesterday??? lets wait and see... i will update my review next week to see if i actually get paid. SOOO unprofessional. read more
