Luana, this did not take place over 72 hours, but instead over a month. I asked for the key to my apartment back on July 6th according to our yelp messages. You said you would reach out to plan and you never did. You were silent July 6th until I reached out on August 1st. The screenshots of our messages do not represent "perfect communication", rather the opposite. You are correct that your employee did an amazing job, but you yourself did the opposite in regard to management. I asked for move out cleaning and asked for my key to be given to me before I scheduled anything (I will upload a photo if you've since forgotten). I sent you a message as soon as I landed to give you time to communicate and for us to plan! I reached out to you again after not hearing from you on August 1st a month later. I was no longer interested in move out cleaning after the lack of communication regarding the key to my home. I reached out again the next day, and continued to have to remind you to get in contact with me. I simply don't think that's safe when you have the key to someone's apartment and have multiple employees working for you. Communication and follow through are important when you are running a business that gives you access to people's personal property. It should not be a requirement to constantly message you and hunt you down for my key. If paying you in order to get the key to my apartment returned was a requirement, you only had to say that on July 6th when I first messaged you (or any time in the following 3 and a half weeks). I made it clear I did not want to speak anymore once you made it clear you wouldn't either bring my key back or reimburse me for it. I said this over message, I asked you not to contact me anymore. Even with this boundary made clear, you continued to find ways to privately message me multiple times. The employee who came to clean my apartment was wonderful, working with you absolutely soured that experience. Fortunately that can be fixed with growth and I hope you take the steps necessary to ensure this does not happen with another client. Nobody expects to repair their home after a cleaning. The person that came was very nice but did not speak English which made it challenging to communicate, "Don't go in that room yet, my wife is still sleeping." Which of course they proceeded to go in that room. After the cleaning we noticed she scratched the inside of one of the toilets and chipped a tile in the master bath. We live in Stamford, CT, and requested a very last minute deep cleaning of our apartment and they were able to schedule it for the following day. We submitted via a project request on Yelp. Luana was one of the first to reply and she was extremely communicative, prompt and on top of getting us scheduled, timing, etc. I sent pictures that were requested. We had to discuss parking which can be a bit of a pain around here but it all worked out. Overall, Luana made the booking and payment process entirely seamless. Tatianny and Fernanda, the ladies who came to clean, did not speak English, which definitely makes it more of a challenge when we can't directly communicate, especially when I'm sitting at my desk working from home. They were extremely friendly though. A few minor things I would have brought up on the spot, like the reason we keep a sheet on top of our down comforter in our bedroom so the cat doesn't ruin the comforter. I wouldn't take a star away for this because I was informed in advance by Luana and I know if I told her, she would have relayed the message like she did during the entire time. At the end of the day, they did a great job! There was definitely a lot of "stuff" that we didn't put away but they continued to move everything to clean under it and put it back much more organized than when they got here. We also paid extra for a fridge cleaning which turned out really nice. Overall, the base fee was a bit more expensive than the "deluxe" cleaning option that our apartment building offers but the results were much better with XP! In fairness to my past experiences, I will begin with a favorable review. The cleaners were prompt and efficient; I even requested a specific clearner and was accomodated based on her schedule as best they could. My recent experience was not favorable. The cleaner was later than the anticipated time; took 2.5 hours in a very small kitchen and did not leave enough time to complete a thorough job on the bedrooms, hall and upstairs bathroom. Photos indicating the dust were taken with great disappointment. When I notified the office staff, I received a message of apology explaining she had been there 6 hours which is true however the job was not done well. Unfortunately, I will need to pay again to have the job done and will not use this service again. It was too costly a price (300.00) to have to pay twice. read more

After finding XP Clean Solution through Yelp and talking with Luana, I decided to book a "move-in" deep cleaning service for the house I'm moving into. We did a FaceTime walk around of the house so she could see what I needed done and she gave me a very fairly priced quote the next day. The house had clearly not been deeply cleaned for 10+ years and needed literally EVERYTHING cleaned. I'm talking floors, walls, ceilings, baseboards/moldings, doors, radiators, kitchen, basement, living room, multiple bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, garage, etc. I mean, this house was so dirty that years of dust and debris were caked in every corner, grime and dirt stuck and stained places, etc. and I was really worried that a cleaning team would not be able to get all of it. But boy, was I wrong. Cassia and Rodrigo showed up exactly on time, took a look around the house and got to work only a few minutes later. English was not their first language, but their sweet, young daughter came with them and translated everything we needed to communicate. They're a hardworking family who I knew was going to get the job done. After 11 hours, yes, I kid you not, ELEVEN hours, I got the call from Luana that they had finished up. When I tell you that the house was spotless, I mean it was absolutely SPOTLESS. They exceeded my expectations and did the job as good as anyone could have hoped for. They turned this dirty old house into a clean, sparkling home that's ready to be lived in. They paid close attention to detail and didn't miss a spot. I really couldn't believe it. My experience was 5/5 stars and I will be using XP Clean Solution again in the future for home cleanings, as necessary. Luana is personable, understanding, and quick to respond to texts and emails. I do not recommend this company. We paid a deposit and immediately upon the arrival of the cleaning person, they started demanding full payment. Since we haven't used them before, we were not comfortable submitting full payment (they already had our deposit). Not only that they left, they also left our house unlocked (no one was home at that moment), creating a huge safety issue. In addition, they quoted us one price and last moment added sales tax (which we had no issues paying, even though we thought it was already included in the quoted and previously agreed price and felt that the owner failed to disclose this upfront). I haven't heard of a company demanding full payment prior to completing service (while deposit was already paid) and leaving costumer in such a bind. It's unfortunate, since we were looking for a company to do bi/weekly cleanings. They also refused to return the deposit, even though service was not provided.
