Shinetek was a great choice for an apartment cleaning service. Issac was prompt and professional. His work is through and he did insiode and outsides of windows. Price was fair. I will call him again. read more

My now former tenant left the apt dirty with a pumpkin spice stench and I ain't about to clean the whole apt cause I am lazy , don't have the time and my back and knees are hurting big time. I was able to check on yelp and found shinetek cleaning company in Astoria and it worked out wonderful. They came to clean at the day and time agreed they would and apt is spotless and smells fresh and clean with no more pumpkin spice order. Rates are fair and you can tell just by the before and after results that the job took a while and was not rushed ..would recommend shinetek cleaning with no hesitation for the apt , home , office , etc. 4.5 stars on my yelp meter . read more

High quality service, very professional and responsive. Thank you Isaac! A roommate moved out, so we wanted to take this opportunity for a deep cleaning! We thought that our apartment was pretty clean aside from the "problem areas" - bathtub and kitchen sink... but once Isaac did his magic, we realized that we really needed this cleaning!! Everything is now sparkling clean, and it just feels so nice. Will definitely be reaching out to Isaac again soon! read more

Found Shinetek here on Yelp while researching LIC cleaning services, and Isaac was great, super communicative in setting up the time, and did an amazing job. Certainly better than the last service we had earlier in the year with a different company. Really nice guy, fair prices, I'll definitely reach out again in the future. Highly recommended! read more

Great guy and great service. You can explain problem areas and Isaac will get it done.

Really wish I could say something positive but after the horrible customer service from the actual employees that come to "clean" your apartment, its hard to even give a 1 star rating. Firstly, Gio and Tyrone arrived 30 mins late due to train problems, which is completely understandable being in NYC, and because I was experiencing a delay with the trains that day myself. But to give me an attitude because you had to wait in the hall AFTER i was understanding that you two were late is ridiculous. Then, after apologizing for the wait, they got into my apartment and go "ohhhhh, this is a move in, not a deep cleaning, thats different." I didn't understand what the difference was, but upon realizing a few of my belongings were stolen, im sure that was why that comment was made. I reached out to the owner Isaac and he said there was no difference in price. MY APARTMENT WAS NOT CLEANED WHAT SO EVER. Please refer to the pictures to see exactly what I am talking about. Floors left unswept, a mopped was passed but there was literally things all over the floors. Bathroom was completely dirty, my blinds "within reach" were not dusted one bit, my stove was left dirty as well and a piece of my kitchen sink was broken. None of the kitchen cabinets were cleaned and I know this is a fact, because the previous tenant left old food in them and when I came back it was still there. NEW POTS AND PANS along with DISHES were STOLEN. When i reached out to Isaac regarding this, he said they could have been lost in the move. Mind you, these were both NEW and brought straight to the apartment after being purchased. Oh, and the bet part is, being rushed to come back to the apartment because they wanted to leave after an hour an a half of cleaning. They sent me out so they could "clean" and I come back to hear Tyrone talking shit about having to stay late amongst other things in regards to the job and Gio complaining about the tip being left on a card and not cash. I would personally never use this company again and please beware if you decide to. At least stay in your apartment and don't leave as the owner and cleaners suggest, because you may end up with things stolen as well! read more

I will definitely be working with Isaac again. He responded promptly and answered all of my questions on his company's services before hiring. On cleaning day he arrived on-time, cleaned my apartment thoroughly, and went above and beyond my expectations. I'm very happy with the service and will be using him again for my apartment cleaning in Astoria! read more

Isaac was responsive, very professional, and extremely thorough when doing a full 'move-in' clean on a particularly dirty apartment!

I highly recommend this cleaning service. The best prices in Astoria, and very responsive management.

I'm so happy I chose Shinetek to clean the apartment I had been renting. The place was filthy and now it's spotless. Lots of time and attention was put in to make it that way and I couldn't be happier with the end result. Isaac was super professional to deal with and kept me posted every step of the way. I highly recommend this cleaning service. read more

I had been searching for a cleaning company to do a top to bottom clean on our house as we are preparing for our baby to arrive. From the second I received a quote from Shinetek I was impressed with their prompt and informative responses. On the day we scheduled they arrived on time and were so polite and respectful while they were in the house . I had Issac and one other gentleman (I forgot his name sorry!) and they did a phenomenal job . The house smelled and felt so clean every room they touched . They were efficient and diligent with every space and I am so happy and grateful for the job they did ! I would absolutely recommend them and will be looking forward to using them again in the future! read more

My "deep cleaning" scheduled on Wednesday April 6th was anything but that. The owner was nice enough to schedule a redo for Sunday the 10th but being that cleaning lady was on her 3rd hour of redoing this "deep clean" I never got to begin with she couldn't finish the way I would have liked her to since she had to leave for her next job. I didn't appreciate the owner reaching out to question why his employee was taking so long. It's obvious if she was taking long because the first job was in fact NOT a deep clean. She was not touching anything new. She was REDOING all the work that was NOT done the first time around. When I suggested if more time was needed during my original "deep cleaning" the answer was NO. Meanwhile my apt was not deep cleaned at all. I was weary about a cleaning service to begin with. This was a waste of money and time. My kitchen on the second round was "deep cleaned" yes but I am left not fully satisfied with my bathroom since again the cleaning lady had spent 3hours redoing the kitchen and had to rush the bathroom to go to her next appointment. Not her fault since she did her best to clean up her coworker lack of deep cleaning. It's sucks for me because instead of me working on my move I have to spent my Sunday afternoon disinfecting my standing shower. Will I use this service again? NEVER and I wouldn't recommend them either. BAD choice of pick on my part. I could have done this all myself last Wednesday and saved the money and aggravation. read more

I have never used a cleaning service before, so I don't have anything to compare to, but I was very happy with the service that Isaac of Shinetek Cleaning Co. provided. Being the introverted and anxious person that I am, I was honestly a bit nervous about having a stranger come in to my dirty home, but I shouldn't have worried. Isaac was very friendly and professional which put me at ease right away. He is a very hard worker and very thorough. You could tell he takes pride in his work and wanted to make sure we were happy with the job. He even stayed on a bit longer than he had estimated to make sure the rooms were cleaned to his and our standards. The price seemed extremely reasonable, and he brought his own HEPA vac and pet-friendly cleaning supplies. He was very good with our cat (though she spend most of time hiding), which was also a big plus. Isaac was very easy to get in touch with and responded quickly to my initial questions and also later with scheduling. Overall my husband, cat and I were very pleased with the quality and value of the service. We recommend Shinetek and will certainly use them again. read more

I found Shinetek through Yelp. I was interested in getting one room of my house deep cleaned as my roommate was coming home after a lung transplant. The room being very thoroughly cleaned and done with products that would not leave a scent or residue was very important to me. Isaac responded to my inquiry within 12 hours, and was very attentive in listening to what I needed. We set up the appointment for a couple of days later and I was satisfied. I had Tyrone for the cleaning, and he did a FANTASTIC job! He cleaned every surface, moved furniture around to clean around and under it, even wiped the walls, ceiling, windows...everything was spotless. I could not have been happier with the result, and I know I will definitely be using Shinetek again in the future. read more

They came and cleaned my apartment and were very thorough. I was very impressed and will definitely use them again. Great job!

I've used Shinetek sporadically over the last few years, and I am continually impressed. I've been talking to Isaac via text, who replies very quickly. Easy to schedule with, and they usually offer packages. The employees come on time (like literally on the dot), are very personable, and quick. They do a thorough job, and are very efficient. I live in a studio, and while I clean it myself regularly, I love using ShineTek for seasonal deep cleans. Highly recommended. read more

Excellent cleaning service! Extremely professional and did a great job. He is also reasonably priced which is a plus. Highly recommend! read more

I used Shinetek last week and they were just okay. They usually give you a 4 hour slot if one cleaner comes but if it's 2, they reduce the time to 2 hours, which makes sense. But if you're looking for deep thorough cleaning, including nooks and crannies and waaaay under your couch, it's not gonna happen. Even with two people the 2 hours wasn't enough. They actually stayed for another half an hour which I really appreciated. I had Gio and Tyrone. I really liked Gio. She was really friendly and attentive to our needs. Gio cleaned the rest of my apartment while Tyrone spent the entire time in my kitchen. We weren't very happy with Tyrone because his job was pretty "half-assed". The kitchen looked clean, but when we touched the surfaces, there were a lot of oily residue which I assume was from the cleaning product he used. The ends on our microwave, fridge and dishwasher handles were extremely oily and we had wipe them down again after they left. He said he cleaned our cupboards, which I appreciated, but everything was just chucked back inside and I had to reorganize everything. The biggest problem I had were the scratches he made on the stainless steel parts of our oven and microwave. When asked about it, he said that he didn't use any non abrasive material. But I found that my steel wool was at a different place and looked much cleaner and used.. hmmm... if he didn't do it, did the scratches coincidently appear by themselves while he was cleaning? I guess nowadays, anything can happen... I spoke to Isaac about it, who by the way was great with communicating. He said that Tyrone didn't use any material that could cause those scratches because the company doesn't provide abrasive material. He even offered to have Gio and Tyrone come back to look into the matter. Honestly, I wouldn't want Tyrone in my apartment again. I would highly recommend Gio, but based on my experience, not Tyrone. You may have a different experience with him though, since he has several 5 star reviews. Here are some pictures for your enjoyment. read more

Isaac did a great job! Easy to book a time through Yelp. He showed up and left my apartment looking great!

I live in the Bronx, and had a deep clean by Shinetek for my spacious 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment. Easy to schedule, reasonable pricing, and great service summarize my experience. Our cleaning tech was on time, thorough, and customer service oriented. Super nice guy who went above and beyond. Now I'm considering getting the recurring basic cleaning service to maintain the place. read more

I moved into a filthy house where the previous tenants were gross. Issac saved me. The best thing about the whole thing was how flexible he was. I work long hours at the office, and don't have a lot of time on weekends. He came on a weekday night, for as many hours as I had available, and cleaned this gross house from top to bottom, all with a smile on his face and amazing manners. I never write reviews, I never feel like its worth my time, but I really want people to know what a great experience I had. read more

Isaac is my new best friend! He is polite, respectful and friendly but one of the most hard working and efficient people I have ever met. He is helping me keep my sanity while keeping my home clean without breaking my budget. His answer always seems to be "Sure I can do that!" where I've heard many stories from others about how their cleaning person will not do certain things. Plus he gets back to me right away and never makes me feel like I'm being too particular because he is too! Isaac understands how I want my home to be maintained even though I work 6 - 7 days a week and go to school and with his help I'm getting there. Thank God I found him! read more

Isaac and team were awesome. So professional and thorough. Our place is sparkling! Highly recommend.

Geo is a cleaning whiz! We have a 2 week old newborn and have not been able to properly deep clean the house since I got pregnant! With a new baby in a bouncy seat on the floors of the apt, it was imperative that we get the house professionally cleaned. Geo took 5 hours to clean a 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment. The kitchen and bathroom are immaculate! I almost don't want to use them. We didn't empty the fridge, so she didn't clean it. But that was ok. She was quiet and worked continuously the entire time using method cleaning products. The house smelled clean and fresh afterwards, not like chemicals. Which was important for us with or newborn. Definitely give these guys a try! We were very pleased with the service from booking to execution. read more

It was so easy to book with Isaac and the price was extremely affordable. My husband and I purchased a coop and the previous owners left a disaster - everything was covered in dust and grime. Isaac and Sergio came and worked their magic. I was so impressed at their attention to detail. They stayed until 11pm and Sergio even offered to help us move our stuff from the car. I would recommend this service to anyone, and I will DEFINITELY use them again in the future. read more

Full Disclaimer - I wanted to hire Isaac for weekly services but my out-of-town guests did not want it so I had to cancel. But I am still giving Shinetek Cleaning 4 stars. Why? Keep reading. When I decided to hire a professional for weekly cleaning services, I searched high and low to find someone who could come to my house on a weekly basis and clean just my bathrooms for 3 months. I found Isaac's company on Yelp and he responded immediately. Throughout the entire process, he was polite and professional. Even when I told him that my out-of-town guests did not want the service, he was so understanding. Also his prices are very fair and reasonable so I will definitely keep Isaac in mind for possible future cleaning needs. I would recommend this company because if Isaac was professional in his email responses, I can only imagine how great he is at his job. read more

Isaac and Gio are amazing! I found Shinetek here on Yelp late Friday night, Issac responded right away with a fair and reasonable quote. My apartment is full of chrome and glass, so it gets quite dusty. Gio arrived as scheduled on Monday morning and did an amazing job! My apartment is absolutely sparkling! Thank you Issac and Gio!! A+++ read more

My experience with Shinetek was fantastic. Isaac was really nice on the phone and sent me a quote very quickly. After an initial misunderstanding about the number of rooms to be cleaned, he kept with his original quote (to my benefit). He was very flexible and was able to schedule a deep cleaning within 24 hours (very last minute). Gio came to our apartment the next day, 20 minutes early and did a fantastic job. She was thorough and efficient. She was able to clean our whole apartment, top to bottom in under 5 hours. Will definitely be giving them a call in the future. Thanks again, Shinetek! read more

Isaac is awesome and professional. He was really willing to work with me in terms of my OCD (and I've asked him to do some crazy things). I've hired him to come in once a week- and at first I had to keep rescheduling due to my busy schedule. Isaac was always so understanding despite the short notice. After a while I felt as though I couldn't keep canceling on the poor guy, and I've provided him with a key. Not a thing is missing. He is extremely trust worthy, and I feel completely comfortable with him walking in and out of my apartment on Mondays. My apartment looks and smells immaculate when I walk in. I've hired people in the past and they charged twice as much for half of the work. I highly HIGHLY recommend using Isaac for any house maintenance. He's fantastic. read more

I moved out of my apartment, and really wanted to leave it clean for the next person. Shinetek came and really did some miracle work. They cleaned parts of the apartment I didn't even consider cleaning. Everything looked like newer than the day I moved in. My only mistake was not having them clean a place I was living in so I could enjoy the results myself. Very speedy and accommodating and a very reasonable price. read more

We recently moved in to a large 3 bedroom that hadn't been thoroughly cleaned for a while. Isaac was not only extremely professional and friendly, but he did an excellent job cleaning my apartment. Having never had our apartment deep cleaned, we were amazed by 1) how dirty our stove/oven really was and 2) how well Isaac cleaned it up! Highly disappointed! My friend scheduled a cleaning for me as a gift. The day before Isaac notified my friend that another cleaner instead of Gio would come since she was sick. That was fine by us and not a problem. However on the scheduled day, the cleaner was supposed to arrive ar 10am. It was 10:45 and still no one showed. I then called the company. No one answered so I left a message. I continued to call after that and still no response. I waited until 1pm -3 HOURS LATER and still NEVER received communication from the company. NO CALL NO SHOW! Not how you should conduct a business! read more
