I'm a cheap girl when it comes to stuff for my apartment - I furnished nearly the whole thing from Craigslist, I buy my kitchen stuff from restaurant supply places, dishes, towels and sheets from Lots Less, etc. When I've thought of hiring a cleaning person before in moments of domestic weakness, I shuddered since I couldn't imagine it being worth the money. Fast forward to this past November when several events in my life left me gasping for air with regular asthma attacks. My husband and I took the time to "de-clutter" our apartment, we bought air purifiers and humidifiers, closed the windows, turned down the heat, etc. Now we just needed to do a nice "deep clean," paying special attention to cleaning up the dog hair from my mini-dachshund. Thank you, Yelp, for being so awesome, and leading me to try out All Points Cleaning Service! The first word that comes to mind when describing them? PROFESSIONAL. I emailed for a quote and got a quick response, all my questions were diligently answered, I was reminded of their arrival the evening before, I was called after the first cleaning to confirm whether or not to leave my dog in her crate... just absolutely everything you could think of - it was taken care of. The second word that comes to mind when describing them? AWESOME. When I came home the evening following the first cleaning, I was in shock. Of course it looked clean, but I have no problem making my place look clean with a quick wipe down and some air freshener. This place FELT clean - this place WAS clean. You know the sticky stuff that accumulates on top of your fridge and that piece that hangs over your stove? clean! my kitchen sink shined! the shower was the cleanest I've ever seen it - not just the tiles, but the grout in between the tiles looked like new. I could never get my apartment this clean if I had a full week! Best of all? all the dust and pet hair had been totally removed - from the moldings, from the windowsills, from around the bed, etc. It was perfect and well worth the money (though for the job they do, they're very reasonably priced)! I decided to schedule monthly "maintenance" cleanings and so far so good - I figured I'd wait to review until I had them clean my apartment at least twice. I'm a huge fan of these guys and will be recommending them to everyone. They're so great at what they do, they're efficient, professional, reasonably priced and Tony and Mannie are so so sweet. MIRACLE WORKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seems unfair that I can only give them a mere 5 stars. They worked on my uncle's home as I'm tryna get it ready for me to move in. Before my uncle had passed, he was becoming a bit of a hoarder. There was all kindsa stuff layin' all over the place. It was like...Sanford & Son. He sent me text message updates throughout the day letting me know the progress and when I should arrive home. If cleanliness is next to godliness, than having Tony and Mannie in my two-bedroom Brooklyn apartment was like a religious experience. I called in a bit of a panic, needing someone last minute and they came through in the most fantastic way. The text conversation I had with my boyfriend when they left pretty much sums it up: Me: my new housekeepers are angels. I'm ashamed to confess that my kitchen floor is actually not at all the color I thought it was the past two years. BF: Hahhahahhahahahha That's incredible. Me: Babe I was horrified. They promised they wouldn't tell anyone. BF: LOL Me: (sends photo of the magic) You can see the old color under the stove - I just thought that was its normal color. *blush* BF: WTF!?!? Me: Right!?! I've mopped it and it never changed color! I'm telling you, they're miracle workers. And so so so nice I could die. BF: Amazing Me: They charged me for three hours and stayed for FIVE. Times two people. That's ten hours of cleaning for way less than anything else I found. I gave them each an extra twenty. So that's the once every several months deep clean. I had All Points Cleaning come to clean my 3-bedroom apartment this past week. Long story short: they did an incredible job, and I'd highly recommend their work to anybody looking for a thorough, deep cleaning. Tony and his team arrived on time, and brought all of their own cleaning supplies. They needed minimal instruction or direction to get the job done. I was curious to see if they were going to really do a DEEP clean, and move furniture around, get in crevices, etc. I was pleasantly surprised, when, after returning home to get a few things, I saw they had moved multiple items off of my desk and kitchen countertops to get the hard-to-reach areas. The best part is I feel the price is totally reasonable for the service provided. There are other vendors who claim to need 8 hours of labor (insane) to clean a modest 3-bedroom apartment. Tony and two of his team members were able to do a comprehensive job in a little less than 3 hours. All in all, highly recommend. You will not be disappointed. read more

Having a new baby in the house means zero time for house chores. That said, my apt was looking like something out of an old western flick- dust balls rolling to and from, spider webs in the corners, foggy windows, etc, etc, etc. definitely not an ideal living space for a newborn. I hired several different cleaning crews but was left feeling highly disappointed every single time -- particularly when I had to remind them to wipe the dust off the bathroom shelves...yes! Then came a voice of reason- I was referred to All Points by a friend -- as it turns out -- a very good friend indeed! All Points is perhaps the only people on the planet who can make my tub sparkle and my hardwood floors look like its been newly refinished/polished -- I LOVE THEM!!! I can actually see through my 10-foot windows now! My apartment has never looked better. This team is professional, efficient, thorough and experts in their field. Their attention to detail is outstanding. And let me not forget to mention how nice they are!! I have recommended All Points to all of my friends and will continue to do so whenever possible. Again, I LOVE THEM, and apparently so does my 6-month old who can't stop smiling when they come over -- maybe he too can appreciate a greal deal when he sees one? Hmmm... Tony and the gang are fabulous! We hired them to do a move out cleaning at my old apartment as well as a move in cleaning at our new apartment. We were so blown away by the quality of clean, that we've started getting them to come and clean once a month (we're that untidy). Everything is given a full, thorough clean, they don't cut any corners, and everyone is so nice and friendly that it's a genuine pleasure to do business with them. I think our best moment with APCS was when we got them to arrange 2 closets in our new apartment. One of the closets was in our spare room that had a load of unpacked boxes as well as the junk filled closet. Not only had they sorted the junk closet into order, they also unpacked the rest of the boxes and laid everything out neatly. All points cleaning service did an incredible job at a price that beat all of its competitors. The reason I went with them is because they did not nickel and dime me on various "rental" fees, such as a fee to rent a vacuum that they already own. My apartment is spotless and they got into lots of areas that I have found impossible to clean, such as the spaces between the refrigerator and counter and inside the oven. They were extremely professional, arrived on time and spent many hours cleaning my apartment. I would use them again in a heartbeat and can't believe I haven't used them sooner. After reading the rave reviews I was excited to try All Points. The customer service is so poor that I'm amazed anyone ever receives an actual cleaning. On 03/20 I received the quote and an appointment date from Mannie. I returned the email requesting a different time. Never heard back. On 04/07 I called customer service and was told I would receive a call back. Later that evening I received an email from Mannie telling me that I didn't have an appointment because I didn't confirm within 48 hours. Of course I didn't confirm because I requested a different time to which no one responded. Yet I still moved forward and requested another date/time. On 04/08 I receive a voicemail from Monita reiterating the email message from Mannie. I returned her call and she tries to tell me that she "thinks" she responded to my original request. I check my Spam and go through my emails and I don't see anything. Nevertheless, I try to tell her that I just want to make a completely new appointment request. She RAISES her voice and tells me that I need to let her finish what she's saying. Game over. A company will never receive my business by lying and yelling. I tell her immediately that I no longer wish to deal with her company and she screams FINE and hangs up. Again, I can't speak to the quality of service but their customer relations is awful. read more

We were shocked and amazed by their professionalism, attention to detail, friendliness and competitive prices. I have been too lazy to write about the awesome job that these guys twice did in my apartment when I was in Brooklyn some yrs ago. But after moving to Manhattan, and dealing with 2 pathetic cleaning companies, I realized how good I had it back there with this company. Tony and his team worked their backs off and scrubbed my grimy apartment spotlessly clean, even beyond their checklist. They apparently dont care about the time it takes to get it done almost like an OCD. Their only problem is punctuality about arriving. So make sure you reserve half a day even if it is 3 hrs on paper. But the conversion of your apartment into a hotel room at the end of it is worth it. Its unfortunate they dont service residentials in upper manhattan. read more

Never got to the cleaning part. I was emailed an estimate after 10 pm with the quote and next available date. Returned the email accepting that date at 8 am and asked what I needed to do to confirm the appointment. At 11 am I called and explained that I wanted to confirm. She attempted to transfer me but was told the estimator was not available at that time and that I would be called back shortly. At 1:40 pm I emailed the estimator to tell them forget it as I had found another service. Sheesh. I really wanted to give them my money based on all your good reviews. Add: I received a reply email after 9pm confirming my appt. I don't know what the deal is -- if this person only works at night and no one else can confirm, but nevertheless its too late. 13 hours for a confirmation reply just doesn't cut it. Anyone should have been able to help me confirm and set up an appt. read more

He truly gave the apartment a deep clean, absolutely following the specific requests I had re. bathroom floors, etc. He even called me afterward to let me know about a minor issue with the apartment that I should get checked out. I had been using this cleaning service for approximately one year. They started out great. They cleaned everything very well, no complaints - impressive compared to other services in the past. After a few months the quality of cleaning took a dramatic dive. Dust would remain all over the baseboards, filthy streaks on the floor and and obvious lack of care. I complained once or twice and for a week it would be good again and then would slip back again. I suppose that they became comfortable with my account and passed us on to the less experienced workers (it was always a different crew). Then, very recently, the crew they brought in carelessly mopped water over our floor outlets. The next day, I noticed one of them no longer worked, and a day after that another outlet began to smoke and nearly started a fire. The fire department were called in. They said absolutely there is water in the outlet and it would have to be replaced. I asked that All Points send out an electrician to replace the destroyed outlets. They arranged to send an electrician, who sent us a report saying that the outlets were not "up to code". This is a newly renovated space from 3 years ago - so I am sure that this is nonsense, but regardless I would expect that they would replace the non-functional outlets...nope. They actually told us after the fact that "they never intended to replace them" and sent the electrician just to take a look. Really poor business practices, I would advise anyone to look for other cleaning service options. Now I have to find an electrician and a new cleaning service. read more

They have been a constant support during some of the most important moments and milestones of our lives - ensuring that our home was beautiful, clean and tidy when we brought our son home from the hospital, when we celebrated birthdays and hosted guests, and most recently, when we staged our apartment to sell (which it did in one day, thanks in large part to how lovely they made it look!). I always said that I will make time to post reviews on Yelp but I've never done so- until now. I have to say that Tony, Gayle and Suzette has done an excellent job cleaning my apartment. I called All Points for a move-in cleaning service because when I moved into this apartment, it was filthy- like rat feces in my kitchen cabinets for example- and although I attempted to clean part of the apartment; it took several hours and it eventually became overwhelming. Tony, Gayle and Suzette were so friendly; and they happily and quickly cleaned my apartment thoroughly; but I have to say, they've done more than make my apartment spotless, their service has really given me peace of mind because Lord knows, moving into this place was an extremely stressful process and there should have been no reason why I was moving in a filthy apartment when I was promised that it would be cleaned (but no worries- this service fee will be deducted from the rent :)). So again, I'd like to thank them for their service; and I'd also like to thank Christina, Rebecca and Adriane for their help in getting me an appointment as soon as possible. read more
