I was able to be flexible with timing and we managed to configure a time that works for everyone. Cleaner was friendly, helpful and thorough. Would recommend and if my budget allows it would use them when I have events and need additional cleaning help. Overall took about 3.5 hours of cleaning because I don't own a vacuum so everything had to be manual. I have a small space - and only needed to focus on bathroom (toilet, sink, tub, floor) kitchen and living space (floor cleaning, outdoor closet wipe down, kitchen area and quick fridge wipe down).

With TopClean, everything runs on rails / is automatically coordinated using their online scheduling portal, and I love that I can have things booked at the same time every month without manually going to do it myself every time. Even though we don't always have the same staff members come clean, every person they've had visit our home has done a great job and always respects our request to wear a mask (they're usually already masked upon arrival so I don't even need to ask). They might not be the cheapest, but you're definitely getting your money's worth every time.

It changed without communication to one cleaner and four hours. The cleaner mixed all the trash, recycling, and composting (contamination), which could have caused a huge fine in New York City. It doesn't seem as if there was training. Some items were thrown out without consultation, and papers were reorganized to the point where I couldn't find a receipt. After…read moreshe saw my 1 star review, she realized that we had had a miscommunication about the baseboard and she reached out to me directly to try to make amends. She offered to do a deep cleaning of my apartment and she even made an exception to come out to Queens to do it, even though she doesn't usually service Queens. The apartment was in very bad shape and she made it look fantastic. The tub was completely black with mold and it now looks brand new. She is so meticulous and on top of everything! I feel like she and her team really went above and beyond - they cleaned the AC unit, the windows, places where I did not expect her to clean, and she organized all of our clutter (but not in a bad way - I can still find everything!) And she's super communicative. For several days prior to the cleaning, she kept in touch with me to make sure that everything was ready for the cleaning (e.g., cleaning supplies and clearing clogged drains). During the cleaning itself she made sure to text me with any questions she had. She even put up with a little snafu we had when she arrived and the doorman had apparently lost the key to the apartment. She was very patient and understanding and she was so communicative the whole time! I'm really impressed with Sandy and her team. Let me walk you through my past experience... we have tried using cleaners 4 others times. Every single one, we were so disappointed. The first finished in like an hour (what a joke). The second didn't even lift objects to wipe the whole surface underneath (uuuum?) the third was really really nice, but there were streak marks everywhere. The fourth was just okay... (he didn't even use proper bathroom cleaning supplies to get the soap grime). Now I am not joking. I have never seen our place this clean. I've literally spent the last 20 minutes walking around, wiping my finger across odd surfaces (like they do in the movies), and can't find any dirt or dust. I'm not exaggerating. And it's the stuff the other cleaners always missed: the inner ridge of the door molding, the tops of the baseboards, way behind the toilet, under my desk on the floor (yes I got on my hands and knees).
