I called him while the work was being done. He told me to let him know as soon as the work was completed, and he'd be happy to do a walkthrough for me and squeeze me in so I could get home ASAP. He went to my apartment with his assistant and filmed the walkthrough and sent me the videos. It wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be, but it was still a job that would be too much for me to handle on my own. I knew if I hired Patrick, I could just walk back into my apartment as though nothing had happened. And that is EXACTLY what happened! He spent 1 full day and a morning cleaning the place from top to bottom. Everything was put back precisely according to pictures. I had done a lot of covering of closets, etc., because I was scared my building wouldn't do an adequate job. We had left it that he would check whether or not the inside of closets or cabinets needed to be done once he started the job. The oven still had oil residue, the fridge and cabinets were dirty, baseboards were dusty, windows had cobwebs, and even the dishwasher and microwave exterior were dirty. Kitchen counters still had brown residue that came off when wiped. Bathrooms were not deep-scrubbed at all, there was still visible grime and rust inside the cabinets. There was no communication from the company when the cleaner arrived or left, no photos of the work, and no follow-up... just a charge for a service that clearly wasn't delivered. We reached out multiple times requesting a refund. This experience left us feeling taken advantage of during an already stressful move. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

She offered to do a deep cleaning of my apartment and she even made an exception to come out to Queens to do it, even though she doesn't usually service Queens. The apartment was in very bad shape and she made it look fantastic. The tub was completely black with mold and it now looks brand new. She is so meticulous and on top of everything! I feel like she and her team really went above and beyond - they cleaned the AC unit, the windows, places where I did not expect her to clean, and she organized all of our clutter (but not in a bad way - I can still find everything!) And she's super communicative. For several days prior to the cleaning, she kept in touch with me to make sure that everything was ready for the cleaning (e.g., cleaning supplies and clearing clogged drains). During the cleaning itself she made sure to text me with any questions she had. From the very first contact (Carlos responded in less than a half of an hour. He was very thorough in explaining what was included and exactly what was extra. He and his crew didn't waste a second's time. Each of them immediately began cleaning as soon as Carlos gave them an assignment. Not for a second did any of the 3 take a break from their right on time arrival for our noon appointment. I believe it took them 3.5 hours. May be more. When Carlos says they clean inside and outside kitchen/ bathroom cabinets and drawers, window and door frames, light fixtures, wood molding, steam mop, vacuum, dust he wasn't kidding. Those are things included. They also bring their own eco-friendly cleaning supplies, mops, steamer, broom, and even garbage bags. If I hadn't just spent 8k to flee the disaster called NYC to another state, I would have absolutely tipped each of them far more. Payment is not expected until they are done. I'm bummed they don't live close to me anymore because I would hire them for twice monthly cleaning in my new place. The pricing is very competitive and every last penny was worth far more. You said you would reach out to plan and you never did. You were silent July 6th until I reached out on August 1st. The screenshots of our messages do not represent "perfect communication", rather the opposite. You are correct that your employee did an amazing job, but you yourself did the opposite in regard to management. I asked for move out cleaning and asked for my key to be given to me before I scheduled anything (I will upload a photo if you've since forgotten). I sent you a message as soon as I landed to give you time to communicate and for us to plan! I reached out to you again after not hearing from you on August 1st a month later. I was no longer interested in move out cleaning after the lack of communication regarding the key to my home. I reached out again the next day, and continued to have to remind you to get in contact with me. I simply don't think that's safe when you have the key to someone's apartment and have multiple employees working for you. Communication and follow through are important when you are running a business that gives you access to people's personal property. It should not be a requirement to constantly message you and hunt you down for my key. If paying you in order to get the key to my apartment returned was a requirement, you only had to say that on July 6th when I first messaged you (or any time in the following 3 and a half weeks). I made it clear I did not want to speak anymore once you made it clear you wouldn't either bring my key back or reimburse me for it. I said this over message, I asked you not to contact me anymore. Even with this boundary made clear, you continued to find ways to privately message me multiple times. The employee who came to clean my apartment was wonderful, working with you absolutely soured that experience. Fortunately that can be fixed with growth and I hope you take the steps necessary to ensure this does not happen with another client. Having strangers hold onto my key (I have never met you!) and not communicate while I sleep in my apartment is not at all safe. I wish you all the best!
