I was greeted upon entry in the store, very friendly. My consultant was very knowledgeable about bra fitting. I have never felt so comfortable in a bra as I did when being fitted. The selection was great. I was given 7 or 8 different types based upon my desired comfort and support of what I wanted as my end result. I walked into Busted after Victoria Secret discontinued my favorite bra style and I couldn't find a good replacement and I'm so glad I did. Elise was so kind, helpful, and informative. She explained how bras are supposed to sit on your body to offer the best fit and support. Usually I'm pretty annoyed and confused when bra shopping because the sizing and fit are hard to figure out. Elise took my measurements and asked what kind of bras I'm looking for and then she picked out a handful of bras to try on and even when I didn't necessarily love certain styles they all fit great which was such an empowering feeling. I'm very happy with my purchase and I'm feeling much more informed for future bra purchases. Definitely recommend giving Busted a shot and I think their prices, while higher than more mainstream brands, are justified by the higher quality. Everyone hates shopping for bras, but Jada and Taisha made the process pleasant. I just stopped in and they helped me, but they do prefer that you make a 45-minute appointment so that they can give you personalized attention. First they measured me and then had me try on a bra for sizing. Then Taisha brought me a steady stream of bras (maybe 30) in different styles and colors. They were both very good about giving privacy if you want it. I also appreciated that they both wore masks since we were in close proximity. I purchased 3 bras for myself recently at Busted in Ann Arbor. The fitter said the band size I'd been wearing (34) was wrong and my true size was a 32. I believed her and tried on several bras, settling on 3 to buy. Even though the 32 felt tight, my fitter kept telling me that it'll loosen up, I'm just not used to wearing the correct size, and to "wear them around for a while" to make sure they fit. I wore each bra for a total of 1-3 hours, tops, and each one restricted my breathing and dug into my skin so much they left marks for hours. I have no idea why the fitter thought a size 32 was the correct size for me. I brought them back to exchange and was told I was out of luck with all three bras - over $250 - because one was on sale and because I'd taken the tags off, though the tags were in the bag, and because I'd worn them each for very short amounts of time to see if they were the right fit. At the time of purchase - -They did not tell me that "on sale" means "final sale" and couldn't be exchanged (they don't give returns, period.) I'm certain of this because I wouldn't have bought an expensive bra that I couldn't even exchange if I wasn't sure it was the right size. -They did not tell me that if I took the tags off the bras, I couldn't exchange them. -They did not tell me that "wear them around for a while" means "for 10 minutes" according to what the owner told me today. Here's the deal: if you have unusually strict return policies (which they do - I had just RETURNED bras at Von Maur 10 minutes before - with all the tags removed and in the bag - and I've returned bras countless other times at other stores), that needs to be clearly communicate by your employees and displayed clearly where customers will see them. "Clearly" to the owner meant on the receipt, which no one looks at, and stated on a small placard by the register on light pink paper with a white background. Word to business owners: prioritize displaying your return policies so that they stand out, not match your branding and aesthetic. Most importantly, if you sell expensive bras and have rigid return policies, your fitters need to be better trained to recognize what the right fit means. I'm angry that I'm out so much money and left with bras I can't wear. What an absolutely ripoff of a store with terrible communicated policies. I'll certainly never shop at Busted again and I'd give them zero stars if it were an option. read more

The shop had BEAUTIFUL bras as to be expected. I was impressed. The service was HORRIBLE however. I look a little rough when I get off work, as I have a dirty but well paying job in the financial district if downtown Detroit. They were bringing me bread to try into my dressing room based on descriptions of what I liked. I asked for a pushup with padded cups and was told that didn't have any. When I went to leave there was a whole rack of pushups. I asked why I wasnt shown those and was told because they were so expensive. I was mortified. First off, I assure you I could afford the bread or I wouldn't have walked in the door and secondly I'm sure I make more than anyone working in that little store. They judged me by my appearance when I had literally just walked out the door of my job after a long, difficult day. I will NEVER but anything from there. I hadn't been to the Cadillac Square location before- it's a little different than the previous Busted I visited but what wasn't was how awesome the staff are! I had a lot of trouble finding a bra that was comfortable for me and they stayed committed to listening to my needs and pulling bras for me until we found something that worked. To have the best experience here, have in mind what you need and then communicate fully- the staff won't judge you and that way they can accommodate you. I do hope that they will find an alternative lighting situation for the fitting room as the fluorescent lights are very unflattering. read more

The clerks I spoke with were welcoming and attentive, stars for them! Overall rating? I bought one of the most expensive, painful, and uncomfortable bras I've ever owned here. I won't be back. The shop itself is tiny but I enjoyed shopping in the Cadillac building...felt like a vintage shopping experience. I love that this place carries such a broad range of sizes and if they expand to luxury brands/materials they'd be worth another pass for me. The shop is filled to the brim with merchandise and there is ZERO airflow, not a problem of the business but the building but the impact was the same, hot and stuffy-10000% worse in the dressing room. Probably not an issue outside of the summer. ...I'm not even sure I was measured correctly, it was EXACTLY the same measurement process that I've experienced at the mall shop Sictorias Vecret. I tried on a bunch of stuff...didn't really love anything. The material was all polyester and a few items seemed to be fairly cheaply constructed. But since I thought I'd found my new size, I bought a set to wear out the next day. It took 15 minutes of wearing before realizing that I'd made a horrible mistake with my purchase. It rolled down AND up, pinched, and slid off. I didn't know it was possible for all of those things in one bad bra, but I was wrong. I like that this business exists! But just not for me. read more

Do not shop here if you are petite or small-chested. I wanted to love this place and to shop locally, but I will not go back. The staff is trained to move the merchandise on their racks, not to properly fit their clients. I went for a professional fitting since I'm finally done breast feeding, and my size has changed. Instead of being upfront that they do not carry a size small enough for me (now A, post-babies), they squeezed me into bands four to six inches too small with cups that were still way too big. The underwires of the bras they sold me have left bruises. Buyer beware of their no-money-back policy. You can exchange unworn merchandise for 14 days for store credit, but no returns. I'm now stuck with over $200 worth of ill-fitting, uncomfortable bras. Shame on me for not being aware before I purchased. Shame on them for being unprofessional. read more

Really bad experience with this store. They have a strict "no refund" policy, which, considering it's underwear, is reasonable. However I bought bra and briefs in bright yellow because I have to go in for surgery and it seemed like a nice thing to do for myself. Briefs were not available in Rochester Hills, but were in Ann Arbor. Two weeks go by and no briefs. Told they don't actually have anyone who drives merchandise from one store to another, so I just had to wait until someone happened to be leaving Ann Arbor for Rochester. I thought that sounded pretty screwy, but decided to give them another week...still no briefs and they absolutely will not refund my money, and my surgery is Tuesday. They offered a store credit? Like I want to keep doing business with them....So, they're sending the bottoms from Ann Arbor, but even after all this they're mailing them. No FedEx, nothing. I don't think they care very much about their customers and would strongly advise against shopping there read more

The employees were so helpful (and patient) with selecting bras based on my need for bras that are not to hot (yet provide coverage and support), that I can wear under white shirts (be modest - but cute), and don't have a scratchy texture. They kept a record of my measurements and my preferences, and I purchased a few that time. I had gone to another bra shop for many years, but in the Last few times I've purchased bras there they have not fit properly. They were way too small I got bruised and sores. Best bra shopping experience ever. Made a bra fitting appointment ahead of time through their website. Showed up and it was just me and the manager Jaida. She did a very quick fitting, picked out a bra to gauge the size, and helped me get into the bra and checked the fit. After that, she pulled a bunch of bras in my new size to try on. Almost all of them fit so perfectly, and I bought most of the bras she brought me. I've never been happy trying on bras, turns out I was just way off on sizing because the size I really needed are not stocked in traditional stores (34H). I waited for over 20 minutes, and not one employee even acknowledged me. No, "hi, it will be a minute" or "we will be with you shortly", nothing. I would not recommend this place, at all. I made appointment, went in and was fitted for a bra to run in. I went for a run the next day and the bra rubbed me raw, so raw that it left marks. I called the store to discuss this with the manager of the Chicago location. I did NOT want a refund, just a store credit to purchase other items. The store manager not only interrupted me while I was trying to communicate this, but she also raised her voice so I could not get a word in edge wise. I called the Detroit location to explain the situation, I was told that owner, Lee Padgett, would call me to discuss the situation. I had to call a 2nd time, due to me not receiving this call. Not only did the owner NOT take the time to call me to understand the situation and discuss it, but she sent me an email clearly not understanding the situation AT ALL. I posted a negative review on their social media page, which they promptly deleted and then blocked me. Which says they provide a very skewed version of their customer service. I felt a bit intimidated at this place. I also know that I waaaaaaaay overpaid, but I'd gone through all of that measuring, and boob embarassment, so I felt like I had to just follow it through. I wanted bras that are not scratchy, but there were no soft bras available there. I am giving two stars instead of three, because one of the $150 bras I purchased already has straps that fall every second of every day. I have adjusted them 90 million times, but nothing works.
