I heard local tell that this place was great for gluten free (celiac here). I was not disappointed. One of the bartenders, Mattie greeted us and cheerfully answered our questions. She said that the mac & cheese and the buns are the ONLY things in the restaurant that are NOT gluten free. You order at the counter/bar where the ladies are, and they give you a number for the table, then the food comes out (it was fast). I had a dozen garlic-parm oysters and we also got three of the happy hour taco specials, mullet, shrimp and pork belly. Every taco was delicous. Seafood lightly fried and still juicy inside. Oysters were fresh and well prepared. They also feature the namesake frozen cocktail which we tried, and it had an appreciable kick to it. Their boat dock area is all brand spanking new and has lots of spots in it. If you are gluten sensitive or celiac, you cannot afford to miss Bushwhacker landing. The food was delicious! Happy hour shrimp aioli, pork nachos, bushwhacker, and a Bacardi with Diet Coke. The service was excellent! You can't complain about a Perdido Bay view with several boats cruising through the Bay. So very nice! read more

This is a hidden gem in Perdido Key! We went on Cinco de Mayo and ordered from their special Cinco de Mayo menu. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. You order at the bar and the food is delivered to your table. Shortly after we ordered, the food was brought out by a very attentive and polite server. The menu is unique and has some amazing gluten free options. The drinks were great and we especially enjoyed the Palomas we had. There was indoor and outdoor seating, live music and a fantastic atmosphere. In my opinion, this is EXACTLY the type of place Perdido has been missing. We will definitely be back! read more

Atmosphere is great, service is self service except for food delivery by servers. They were not very busy, took 40 minutes for food to get to the table, when it arrived, nachos were soggy, tacos were to cold. Bushwacker was excellent, other drinks were great. read more

This place is awesome. The parking is the turn in before you get to the dead end. The setup is easy as soon as you walk up to the restaurant on the right is a gift shop. Since this was my first time there I had to watch what other people were doing. At the entrance to the left is a post that has the menus for food and drink. Once you decide what you want there's what looks like a drink shack it's also where you will order your food too. The staff are awesome, they'll take your order and hand you a number and seating is wide open to wherever you want to sit. The food was delicious the burger was cooked just right and the fries were perfect I didn't even need ketchup. If you find yourself in the area drop by for a real treat. If they're going to call themselves Bushwacker Landing, they need to have a half decent bushwacker. It's like a Wendy's frosty with a splash of rum. Seafood, chicken and Mac n cheese were tasteless. Slaw was ok. Hush puppies were a mystery. Nice atmosphere. read more

Fun spot, great view, super friendly staff. Food has been mixed last couple visits. Wife ordered fried fish and grits, which came with what seemed to be cream gravy from breakfast on top of the fish. A little weird... sort of ruined what was tasty fish. The fried shrimp I had were good. Their fries are always good. read more

This is a new waterfront ( on the ICW) that is a food truck type of vibe. You order your food at the bar and it's delivered to the table. We stopped for a drink and came back the next night for dinner. Obviously the Bushwacker is their signature drink and it was very unique. Really good but now what you expect. Think "Wendy's Frosty" meets booze ! It made a great desert ! Food was So-So and expensive for what you get. Hopefully the food improves. But we will still go back for the drinks. Oh and they have live music some nights. read more

Way overpriced and average at best. Fish tacos barely had any fish on them and the grilled oysters were about the size of a quarter. Hope they improve their food quality before I would think about going back. read more
