Sneaky awesome food. The menu is above what you'd expect for a dive. Service is great. Perfect spot to grab a bite and some drinks. The atmosphere is casual. My favorite spot in Abingdon by far

Pretty good French Onion soup. Burger is awesome and always cooked to perfection. Service is challenging at times especially when you arrive and sit bar side at 4:30pm just before the dinner push. The lady's running the show are pleasant although what's not pleasant were the bar flies. We were pestered by 2 or 3 insects that stole some of our relaxation. Fries were a tad oily but all in all, it's a great burger and Thursday is Burger Night!

My wife and I were out and about and checked on Yelp as the location of a good place to eat while visiting Aberdeen Proving Ground. Bushmill Tavern came up so we made the drive. Must say that we were impressed overall with the food and the service! A great little spot off the beaten path with mostly locals. My wife and I truly enjoyed it! I ordered their classic Caesar salad with seared tuna well my wife ordered their buffalo chicken quesadilla and duck fat tots. The food came out relatively quickly and was absolutely delicious. The bartender also knows his way around the classics as well! If you're in the area, give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

We heard good things about the burgers at Bushmill Tavern, so we took a random ride out there to see what it was all about. It was bustling with a large crowd when we came in on a Saturday afternoon. The one server, Ginger, was also hosting and swamped by the crowd, but she really worked magic and provided great service all on her own! She deserves to be recognized. I ordered the chicken cheesesteak which I cannot give a great review because the bread was hard and it literally had the smallest amount of meat I have ever seen on a sub. They were very slick about it, loading the bottom of the sub roll with the toppings and laying about 4 chunks of meat mixed with cheese on top. I didn't send it back, but it was surely highway robbery. On the other hand, the buffalo wings were tasty and the burger was actually good.

Somebody told me that if I wanted a burger I had to go Bushmill Tavern so I did. My family and I took that 25 minute drive into the unknown. When we pulled up, there was a big parking lot with a quick bop to the door. When we got inside, we weren't immediately acknowledged and got a little worried. Soon after we met the nicest lady that took us to a table on the back, I'm glad we sat back there because the front being a bar and all was a little noisy. Of course I had the burger and I wasn't disappointed at all. The fries were hand cut and came out nice and hot. The wings were perfectly flash friend. They were flavorful and crispy. I would have preferred a little more sauce but I know that's based on preference. The bang bang shrimp were quite tasty and I loved the pita chips they came with. My mom gave feedback that the subs didn't have enough meat but was pretty good otherwise. Sam's for the captain crunch chicken tenders. Surprisingly good but definitely could have used more meat.

I want to start this off by saying this is a divey bar with outstanding food! The bartenders and wait staff have always been excellent. The food is on point! The fries alone are worth a trip. Why the 4stars? The place needs a facelift. I get the charm of a dive bar. We've battled gnats, heat (AC wasn't working) and this most recent trip a very fowl odor. I really think all the plumbing needs to be addressed, some paint, brighten the place up a bit. Would we go again? Of course, this is a go to place for us. Love the food, drinks and staff!!!

Although we've ordered from Bushmill a few times now it had been some time so we decided to order takeout on a Saturday night. This time we decided to try the Chesapeake Burgers and Chicken Nachos for starter. The Nachos are probably better for dine in. Would recommend ordering the cheese on the side for takeout as chips were soggy when we got home shorty after. The Chicken wasn't really seasoned. We wouldn't order this starter again. The Chesapeake Burgers were cooked as ordered (medium) & the beef was tasty. Crab cake (looked to be fried) was okay and unfortunately was over cooked. The duck fat fries were as good as I remember them. Seasoned just right! We've also ordered the Hangover Burger on previous visits and this is our favorite burger. Staff has always been courteous. Overall, would recommend for the burgers.

Most inclusive dive bar in the tri-county region. I love coming here for my first drink of the day at 11am. One time, I tried to pick a fight with some of the bikers, because being in a bar brawl is on my bucket list, but I was disappointed when the bar tender said no, this isn't that kind of place. I guess that's ultimately a good thing because my parole officer would have been disappointed with me. Great duck fat fries too.

Came in for a late lunch. We are here for a Ripken baseball tournament. The food is so good! Fresh and tasty. Fries are my jam and these are the best!! Loved our server Morgan, she took great care of us and our kids! Wish we had more time here so we could come back.

Overall, the brass tap is a chill establishment with a rather decent craft beer selection. While I…read morewas there, I have enjoyed a few of their appetizers of which the buffalo cauliflower is a must. It was very flavorful, and the overall taste profile was phenomenal. Not overbearing and it also has the Nashville hot seasoning, which is a nice touch. Of the times I went there it was fairly slow and I think that it's just due to the lack of live entertainment and also advertising any special events. For example, I was there on 'May the Fourth' which would have been a great opportunity for them to have maybe some themed trivia to draw people in. They have space for live music and based on what staff has said they want more live music there but they've struggled to get entertainers in without having to book well in advance. The only reason I am not giving 5 Stars is because the vibe could use some work. Their outdoor patio is under utilized, and has the chance to be a much nicer outdoor seating area. Just a few missed opportunities. For all you IPA lovers (like myself) they have plenty of great craft beers on tap and plenty of IPA's to satisfy your cravings.

He enjoyed the hush puppies they bring out to start with their honey butter, and the food in general. He ordered the shrimp pasta which he has stated is his favorite and has ordered it each time we come. I have ordered the stuffed flounder, the Mac and cheese, and a salad and I was not disappointed. There is plenty of booth seats, bar seating, high top seating and even some outside seating. It can get a bit loud inside when they are busy. Crabs, check! Hush Puppies, check! This was a great start…read more Conrad's in Abingdon, a bustling restaurant featuring seafood was all we had expected. We had to wait five minutes on a Thursday afternoon, only because there was a very large group taking up an entire room. The hostess and our server Riyah (forgive me if I spell her name wrong) were both pleasant and attentive. For appetizers we shared Fried Calamari, cooked perfectly, not anywhere near the rubber bands you get at some places. We also shared hush puppies with hot honey sauce. Hot honey sauce seemed odd to us to have with hush puppies, so we had it on the side, along with powdered sugar. What a pleasant surprise. Cooked to perfection, soft with a crisp outside. Nicely done. For main course I had fried oysters, something not often found where I used to live. Fried well, not a hint of grease with good cocktail sauce along with fries and Cole slaw, sweet with just enough celery seed. My wife had a half dozen large crabs (males) and she was in heaven. Done well with old bay...I know to bring a book, because she takes her time savoring these well done Maryland Blues. The manager stopped by to chat and he was a pleasant personable fellow. Another note, considering the kitchen was taxed with a large group luncheon, our meals were not delayed. This is a good sign when the restaurant is busy. Recommended!
