We needed our kitchen sink unclogged. Called Burtech and got scheduled the next day. Bert the plummer came out near the beginning of the scheduled time window and did a great job. It took a while but he was very thorough. The current Yelp drain clog special ($59 with no warranty) was a really great value! Bert even called me back the next day after I texted him to answer some questions and walk me through the diagnostic process that he uses to determine the location of the clog, in case we want to take a crack at doing the job ourselves next time. We needed a new water heater. Ours was leaking pretty bad. Burtech was one of the first to respond to my Yelp request and was the lease expensive. We chose him for his price and his early availability. They were quick to come out to resolve our issue. My only problem with Burtech was that after looking at our water heater set up, there were about $700 additional cost to bring it to code, etc. I understand the additional charges, but wished I had been warned up front. Also, the tech bent the water heater overflow pan that we were charged almost $180 for. That was the only charge that didn't seem reasonable. I was very happy when I called the owner of the company and he was very caring and understanding. He reviewed the job with his tech and called me back. He told me that he would refund the price of the pan because the tech shouldn't have bent it. I was very impressed with his customer service. Not all companies care like that especially after they have been paid. read more

I hired Burtech AGAIN to install a high end faucet system and Dave Fults was excellent at the job. They found me a spot really quick on their calendar. Dave was careful, he was detailed and he answered a bunch of my questions understanding how to order the various peripheral parts to faucets (it is confusing to us laymen!!). He was patient and kind. He also noticed our hot water heater is way aged and so we are looking at replacing that and they can do all of it with no leadtime.
