I recently had Burtech out to address issues with my dishwasher. I had owned a Bosch but had been having a lot of problems with the soap pod not dissolving and dishes not getting clean. I'd had an appliance person come out several times, and everything seemed to be ok. I got so frustrated, I finally bought a new dishwasher but had Burtech out to make sure the water was flowing correctly and arriving hot enough into the new dishwasher. No need to go into every detail, but Burtech's technician Eli went through a number of troubleshooting steps to make sure everything was optimized and I wouldn't have problems going forward. He was patient, explained everything he was doing and why, and didn't leave until he was confident the job was done completely. I ended up needing a different air gap because the old one was too small to handle the water flow, a new hose because the one installed by the DW company was too short which created a kink, and Eli rerouted the hot water to come directly off of the faucet hot water's supply. After today's work, these guys deserve 5 stars and then some. I met Burtech Plumbing a couple months ago when my husband and me purchased our house. The owner Bill performed a sewer inspection and after review and discussion, ended up repiping from the front of our house to the city sewage. The work was clean and efficient. Well today (Labor Day) and 2 weeks since the work was completed, out of no where, our bathtub and toilet start overflowing without us using it. Frantically I called Burtech plumbing hoping they had someone working. Thankfully they did. We were told someone would get to us within the next 2 hours. That's when Mike Q. showed up at our house about a hour after we called, and did a FANTASTIC job at clearing our main line. We thought maybe it was the piping Burtech completed in the front since we had no issues with the plumbing prior. After Mike reviewing everything in a timely manner, we concluded the backup had nothing to do with the work that was previously performed 2 weeks ago, but that there was a legitimate clog somewhere in the main line. Mike was great at explaining everything to us and got to work right away. He was pleasant to work with and the price was very reasonable, especially being an emergency on a holiday. Burtech was the only plumber available to respond to an urgent leak, and we appreciated their fast reply and friendly service. However their pricing is shocking, $350 for a 30 minute fix and a $20 hose spigot. My lawyer costs less money. When the problem still wasn't fixed and it leaked again, they honored their work and came out again but tried to get even more money from us! They are good for an urgent fix but if you can get anyone else or another estimate I would definitely go with a less expensive plumber. read more

Steven was professional, kind, and persistent. I told him we had had a different plumber out about 2 months prior that snaked the toilet only to have it flush 3-4 times properly and then not flush. Steven snaked the toilet and flushed it as previously done and then 1 more time which revealed the job wasn't done completely. So, he snaked again and went an extra 12ft which required some extra might. He wasn't going to stop till whatever it was blocking the pipes came out. It finally revealed itself - the cover to the bidet sprayer had fallen in the toilet. It's been 7days and toilet is flushing great! Thanks Steven and Burtech!
