Dave from Burtech was awesome. I reached out on yelp when Home Depot was unable to install our new dishwasher. He was here first thing the next morning (he could have been out here the same day if our schedule allowed). He took care of the valve issues and gave our kitchen sink some extra TLC with tightening and cleaning lines, etc. We will always call Burtech in the future as Dave went above and beyond to make sure everything was top notch and ready for the upcoming install. Thank you!! read more

Steven was professional, kind, and persistent. I told him we had had a different plumber out about 2 months prior that snaked the toilet only to have it flush 3-4 times properly and then not flush. Steven snaked the toilet and flushed it as previously done and then 1 more time which revealed the job wasn't done completely. So, he snaked again and went an extra 12ft which required some extra might. He wasn't going to stop till whatever it was blocking the pipes came out. It finally revealed itself - the cover to the bidet sprayer had fallen in the toilet. It's been 7days and toilet is flushing great! Thanks Steven and Burtech! Definitely will be my go to for all my plumbing needs! read more

Burtech Plumbing is my new plumber! i had a clogged drain in my bathroom and they came out right away. Bert was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I have cast iron pipes which are old and problematic, so I was prepared for the worst. But, Bert was able to clear the drain. He is a gem. I highly recommend this company. Their prices are fair and they are a pleasure to have in your home. read more

I had an emergency water leak in the master bedroom closet and I called Burtech and they were the only ones answering on a Sunday afternoon. They were be able to make an appointment for the next day at as earliest of 8 am. Mike showed up on time and was very clear and efficient. The price was fair. And my husband are totally satisfied with his work. I would totally recommend this company. read more

I highly recommend Burtech Plumbing. Recently, I needed a new kitchen faucet and Gino came out to give me an estimate. I had gone online and picked out three potential candidates and Gino told me not to get any of them because they would not hold up well. He recommended two other brands and I ordered one of those. When he came out to install it, he was very efficient and did a great job in a timely manner. On both occasions that Gino came to my house, he arrived on time, was friendly and knowledgeable, and conducted himself in a very professional manner. I'm so happy with my new faucet and soap and hand lotion dispensers. I wish every company was as easy to work with as Burtech Plumbing. read more

Totally plugged kitchen sink. Previous plumber was expensive and the sink was clogged 2 days later and on a Saturday no less. These came out within 2 hours. 3 weeks later, drain still working. They were friendly and did a good job cleaning up. Will call them again. read more

My garbage disposal wasn't working and was leaking. My property management contacted one contractor who basically made the situation worse. A week later and Bert with Burtech came out to assist with my problem. He went above and beyond! Very knowledgeable, very respectful and seemed to want to do what was best for the owner of my unit. Would definitely recommend. Thanks again Bert. It was truly a pleasure read more

If you are tired of contractors that cannot do the work, or do a lousy job, do yourself a huge favor and call Burtech Plumbing! That's what we did after I went under the house to check an electrical problem. I found the soil all around the 4" main drain was soaked. We had a "contractor" (not going to name them though I should) do a bathroom remodel about a year ago and they obviously messed up big time. I called Burtech Plumbing. A Technician named Elijah arrived at our home. He suited up and got right to work to investigate the water leak. In a very short time Elijah was back out from under the house. He explained the the previous contractor had used the incorrect pipe coupling which allowed the 4" main line to separate. Elijah made a first class repair on this and a couple other sections of adjoining 2" pipe. He showed me photos of all his work. This, all for an extremly reasonable price. Elijah is a true professional nice smart and friendly. I can't say enough about how impressed we are with Elijah and Burtech Plumbing! Sincerely Jim and Roselyn read more

I want to say thank you Steven Ernest for taking the time to explain what was going on with my leak and giving me a fair estimate. I requested quotes from multiple plumbers with a wide range of prices and I felt he gave me a fair deal. He fixed the leak along with replacing another value so I could turn the water off. He even looked at three other concerns I had and offered advice. I would highly recommend Steven and will request him for future issues. Thank you again Steven! read more

This company is A+++++ I literally want to have plumbing issues to have Lucio return as he is friendly, honest, knowledgeable and is not out to scam anyone. He specifically asked if we had a different "clean out" location so that he didn't have to do extensive work yielding additional costs. His honesty and ethics are off the charts. I did not see a spot for tips; but if there were, I'd've tipped him. read more

Usually, when I call a plumber, I expect the plumber's crack of despair - "Well, it looks like you need another abduction valve and corona bladder if you ever hope to secure the flushing swirl to remain clockwise." I would always pay as I remembered my horrible attempt 10 years ago to DIY my garbage disposal. Burtech is different from my past experiences. First off, their response on Yelp is awesome. When I launched my initial request, only two services replied, and Burtech was the only one that replied with a useful response. Second, the technician who came to my house was awesome. His name is Mike and he was great. He kept things safe by wearing a mask and booties, I appreciated this courtesy. He was very helpful in 'showing' not just 'explaining' the service that I needed. And he was friendly - so friendly, I almost asked him if he would give me a haircut (I really, really need one). Anyway, 5 stars all day long. Really pleased with every aspect of their service. read more

We had a backed up drain in our downstairs laundry area being clogged from the kitchen sink. Called Burtech, for the first time ......, and Jose showed up in less than 20 minutes, went to work and fully addressed the problem. Both kitchen and laundry area flowing better than ever. Super reasonable price and a 90 day warranty for follow service if needed. We recently moved back to North county and I have noticed Burtech's trucks on the road. Gave them a shot and could not be happier. Thanks Jose!! read more

Thank you for your help in getting our drains cleared. Very fast, efficient, professional and a reasonable price.

Eli was super quick to get the job done, professional, and friendly. Will definitely be using Burtech plumbing in the future.

I had a backup in my master bathroom for the second time in less than a year. Because there was no accessable cleanout, the last time a plumber came they had to remove the toilet to run the cleanout cable. This time I decided rather than spend alot of money to do the same I'd get estimates for installing a cleanout to the exterior of the house. I had 4 plumbing companies come out and evaluate and give an estimate. Of the 4, Burtech had the best price, but even more importantly, they evaluated my entire drain system. I had them do the install of a new cleanout and they even ran a video cable to inspect the line. It was evident from the video which I watched along with the supervisor, Bill, who explained what we were seeing, that my drains had a lot of crud built up. When we got from the ABS line (black pipe) to the old cast iron drain line under the house and all the way to the old clay piping to the street, it was evident how much buildup in the lines had developed over the decades in the ABS and even more in the cast iron. So, the technicians Jose and Gino installed the new cleanout and I asked Bill to work up an estimate to remove the cast iron and replace with 4" ABS. Bill was adamant for me to not do a jetting of the lines because it could cause leaks in the 75 year old cast iron, and to wait until the cast iron was replaced to jet the lines to get rid of as much of the crud buildup as possible. I really appreciated the advice and the thorough explanations he provided. Good pricing, fine work, and honest explanations. While I'll get several estimates again on the next job too, I am impressed with Burtech's work and approach to projects. I'll recommend them to my friends and family. read more

We just had a leak repaired by Jaime at Burtech Plumbing. Jaime really knew his stuff, and was fast and efficient. He answered all my questions and explained everything very clearly to me. And, there was no hard-sell or up-sell to deal with. I really appreciate that Jaime did the job the right way. He could've left previous patches in place and just replace the part that was leaking but instead he removed all shoddy patches and replaced everything so that there is now one continuous new pipe. Burtech's customer service was excellent and their prices are very fair. Burtech's will definitely be our go to company for any plumbing issues in the future. read more

Dave did some plumbing work for us, fixing the hot water pipes to our washing machine. We had such a great experience with him and can't recommend him highly enough. He was efficient, professional, kind, and personable. He got our work done quickly at a fair price and even took the time to notify us of an issue with our dryer vent under the house. He will definitely be our go to guy for any plumbing needs and we're giving his info to all our local friends! read more

Toilet was plugged for a month. Didn't feel like dealing. The guy showed up, I explained I already had a really good snake but couldn't reach that clog. He said he "might have a secret." He came in and BANG! Fixed it in 15 seconds. He ran it a couple more times just to be certain. He then told me I can do it myself next time which is something you never hear. He taught me two methods with the snake I got and I may not have to call him anymore. I will definitely advise calling him. Not sure of that negative review. Dude was cool as heck. I thought for sure it was going to be a 30 minute sit around pow wow session but he was in and out. Speed saves time, gives me more time to get more work done and that stupid toilet issue couldn't have went any smoother if you tried. Absolutely use these guys. I'm not in San Francisco. Not sure why FB shows that. I'm in Encinitas. read more

Yesterday I sent a quote request to replace a very old leaking outdoor faucet. Within minutes, Burtech contacted me and set up a time window of 2 hours for this morning. Steven called to say he could arrive a few minutes early, gave a good quote right away (I had researched typical costs), and completed the job very efficiently within 30 minutes. I was impressed. Steven has 30 years experience in every type of plumbing so I will be requesting him for all future repairs. Burtech is outstanding!! read more

Great service - came out on time for install and decided on what was needed. When I looked closer at the bill there were some charges that were a bit price gouging for my liking - drip pan was charged at ~$200, these can be had for 40-50 at most, didn't expect that much of a markup. I offered to go get the materials but said they didn't offer it as an option. There were other parts too but again, I just wanted it done so we agreed on a number that worked. I know times are tough but for things that aren't costly - shouldn't be marked up that much. read more

Gino came back again because we noticed that there was still some leaking under the kitchen sink. It ended up being an issue he mentioned in his previous visit where we needed to make sure the opening to a dishwasher thing was tight. And he mentioned that leaks could occur through the garbage disposal button and we would not be able to tighten that part. The underside of that button was rusty and getting worn. So I was able to schedule an appt with him for the garbage disposal button, and was not charged for today's visit. I am impressed by Burtech having Gino come back to make sure the work done was complete and that I was not charged for today. Gino was also very polite and professional. read more
