We've had Dave Fults with Burtech two or three times at our house and he's prompt (if not early but makes sure it's ok to be early), decisive with repairs needed, doesn't try to sell you on anything unnecessary and really just gets the job done leaving me feeling like our house was taken care of and I don't have to worry about it anymore. My two Kitchen sinks were clogged last week. I called some other company to fix it. That company gave an estimates of $550 to fix the problem. They snaked and even hydro-jetted the pipes. After two half-day work , the main sink is fixed but the island one is still clogged. I paid $275 for the job that was half done. The technician told me that they will have to come in again in three days and charge an additional $550 to fix the second sink. I disagreed and called Burtech instead because of their good reviews. My experience with Burtech is especially pleasant. First over the phone the lady clearly told me that if the problem can be fixed by using snake then the cost will be $125. If hydro-jetting is needed then the cost will be $270. The technician came in the next day and told me with confidence that only snake is needed for a cost of $125. He spent less than half an hour and the problem is fixed. No wonder Burtech almost got a 4.9 review. We noticed a leak on the outside of our condo. I contacted Burtech Plumbing company late last night and Bill immediately responded to my request, gathered all my details and noted they would call me in the morning. As promised, they called me in the morning and sent over Steven to check out our issue at noon. Steven did a fantastic job in finding the root of the problem within minutes (i.e. broken drain pipe) and then repairing the pipe shortly after. He also had to deal with my temporary stupidity of running the dishwasher before he came, which resulted in hot water falling on him while he was in the middle of the repair. I apologized profusely over this mistake and he was so very nice and professional through that situation. Since we were in need of restoration, he also put us in contact with a great and honest company. All in all, I am very happy. I needed an estimate for an area drain jam. An elderly technician who came the next day was professional, instructive, and honest. He examined my drains and showed me the types of pipes used in area drains from his large truck, including an inexpensive type that my home and most home have, a flexible pipe that easily allow plant and tree roots inside. "What, roots?" I thought. I mentioned that I hit a wall inside a curb exit pipe with a garden hose that had blasted away dirt and rocks. He said that wall is likely a ninety degrees joint. He pulled a two inch diameter and eight feet length pipe from his truck and pushed it into the curb water exit to ascertain the junction. He mentioned that I can start with snaking but that probably won't work and a waste of money. He advised that I should go to high pressure water jetting since jetting can usually make turns. I am really impressed with Burtech - they have clearly earned their awesome Yelp ratings. I called about a stuck object in my toilet that I'd already tried multiple times by myself. Thankfully this is not our only toilet, so when I was told it was going to be 24 hrs it wasn't a big deal. Then I got a call almost immediately after, saying they could actually make it out in less than an hour. Great! Kyle arrived on time and was really friendly and professional. While he was fixing my issue (one of the kids flushed a quarter roll of TP, including the cardboard tube), he was really personable, asking about my kids and talking about his own. I contacted them through Yelp! on the Sunday night before Labor Day to fix a leaking faucet. Bill contacted me first thing on Labor Day Monday and asked about the problem. He explained that even though it was a holiday, they only charged regular rates, not holiday or overtime. Josh came out that afternoon and diagnosed the problems, leaving a detailed estimate. I was in the market to have a gas line extended to the fireplace, so that I could have a gas log set installed there. I explored Yelp and came up with several options. This company is outstanding! This is my second time they have saved me from another company. The first time the own came to my house about two years ago and fixed my drain in the kitchen and saw there was a problem with the bathroom drain, that was in the same area and repaired that line for the same price and lower than the other company price. This time Steven Ernst came because I thought I need a new hot water heater. .Jaime came out today to fix our dripping bath faucet and he was very professional and friendly, but more importantly, extremely knowledgable and quick. We have a Roman Jacuzzi tub without an access panel. I had a plumber come out yesterday and he said he was scared to touch it (said he didn't do jacuzzi tubs unless there is an access panel). Burtech ended up coming out three times to resolve my plumbing issue. They were prompt and responsive each time, and Burt was really fantastic and personable each time he was here. The only reason I haven't given them 5 stars is that for the second and third visits, they double booked me in the wrong time frame and each time had to call me back and reschedule. That was frustrating, especially during the holidays. Also, they don't seal the bottom of the toilet they removed with silicone, so now we have to do that ourselves.
