Have to say that Jaime did an outstanding job today in addressing two separate issues. Actually, this started two days ago when we requested a tech to come out to replace the washing machine spigots and fix our master shower knobs. Jaime came out, assessed, and determined that the master shower knobs couldn't be replaced with the parts we had previously purchased. Instead, he suggested an alternate option, but would need to return because it would take more time than allocated. Okay, no problem. The day before thanksgiving, the plumbing in my parents house was backed up. I called Burtech Plumbing they sent Jose to clear the drain. They were able to get me a 12pm appointment, but luckily enough Jose was able to come early at 11am. He immediately saw the problem and cleared the drain. They even provided camera footage without any additional cost. Bill came same day and explained to my parents what the issue was. We've had a good run with plumbers. While in San Diego, our hot water would not come out of the shower, but cold water would. We looked at Yelp and saw Burtech had good reviews. We have them a call, and they could be here the same day. They also do not charge a fee to come out, which was a plus. Steven reached out to us and had a good idea of the problem (shower cartridge) before he arrived. Our shower gave him a decent fight, but Steven won. I will add that Steven is very nice. Called Burtech on Monday morning. They had a technician to my house within the hour. Kyle located the slab leak under the water heater. $150 to cut into the wall. About an hour later Bill and Barry came out to locate the leak ($450 for leak detection). Very quick turnaround. They had me scheduled in no time. Danny called me at 7:45 on Wednesday to give me his ETA. Showed up early. Very good communication. He rerouted the pipes to bypass the slab leak. Took extra care to make cuts for easy drywall repairs. Quality workmanship. ($2200) In the end, I'm very satisfied with Burtech. The prices seem in line with the industry as far as I know. The leak detection seems a little steep for the time spent, but what are you going to do? Highly recommend. These guys know what they're doing. read more

We used Burtech several years ago and they were great. We needed two sets of bathroom faucets installed, so we called them again. Gino called 30 minutes before arrival (as scheduled) and arrived on time. It seems I did not order the valve units I needed to complete the installation (which I discovered are sold separately at Lowes). Gino managed to locate two sets, went off to get them, and charged us a fair price for them. They very kindly did not change the original estimate, even though an extra hour or so was incurred because of the need for the extra components. Clean out my clogged kitchen sink (just started renting this place) for the advertised price of $79 for a drain cleaning. It took about an hour total to disassemble the piping, clean up everything, and put it back together. The smell was foul and so too were the contents he cleaned out. Nico took care of me and was very professional and pleasant. I had another company come out the day prior - Elite Rooter San Diego - and the person they sent out said they weren't comfortable using a drain snake for my clean out (which Nico used and said would be absolutely just fine, which he proved to be the case). The Elite Rooter guy said I needed a hydrojetting and that would range from $300-600. Talk about a scam! Glad I got in touch with Burtech. I will be using them again for future services. read more
