BLUF: Scott Snow and HPI are totally amazing!!!! For a while, our landscaping drains have been running slow and backing up when we have occasional very heavy rains. I've been wanting to get them cleaned out, but have had a hard time finding anyone to do the job. My wife ran across HPI online, and I have absolutely nothing but praise for Scott and HPI. Scott was amazing! He came out and hydro-jetted our landscape drains to make sure they were completely clear and flowing properly. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. He also cleaned out our gutters and added piping to route our water purification system into the gutter drain. What really impressed us was that Scott took photos throughout the process, added detailed comments to them, and created a full report that he emailed to us afterward. Scott is the best. 10/10! He scheduled an appointment with me right away and was on time, kind, extremely helpful, and cost less than I was expecting for how in the trenches of my yard he was. He hydro jetted an underground gutter downspout for me that I don't think anyone has touched in 30 years. We have lived in our home for 40 years and have had regular exterior drain service. We had some pooling during the recent rains and called HPI to service the drains. Hard-working and very friendly Scott cleared my backed-up area drain lines after last month's heavy rain. The drain lines are working fine during this month's rain. Disappointed over plumbing companies' separate and usually high pricing for each step of area drain line cleaning (separate fees for snaking, which usually does not work, hydro cleaning, camera work if needed, drain pipe rebuild if needed, drain pipe cleanout installation if needed, etc.), I chanced upon Scott from a Carroll Plumbing Company referral since that plumbing company is not focused on area drain line cleaning. Scott's pickup tows his 4000 psi high-pressure equipment and water supply, and he charges by the hour, $300/hr. On the first visit, Scott equipment blasted and cleaned two front yard to side yard drain lines, pulling out mud, rocks, and roots, at a cost of two hours. On the second visit, Scott blasted and cleaned an over-my-fence short HOA drain line connected to my backyard drain line for only an hour charge, though it was more like an hour and twenty minutes. A ten minutes muddy geyser resulted, so it was quite a jam. During the two visits, Scott was very friendly, informative, and advising and, when finished, gave me two discounts: $50/hr off the first visit and $100/hr off the second visit. The discounts are not a given. I may have only gotten them after I mentioned that my HOA had refused to pay for any drain line cleaning, even when the entry point is a HOA drain at the bottom of the HOA's hill. read more
