They were all very responsive. Jaime originally came out to fix a leaking water pipe and quickly found the problem and replaced the pipe. As he was leaving, he detected a faint smell of gas and found a leak in our exterior gas pipe. This escalated into a bigger issue involving SDGE and a city inspection before our gas could be turned back on. Bill worked with us directly to ensure everything was taken care of correctly and Danny got to work on site replacing the pipe and testing our gas lines. I contacted a few plumbers because I was having an issue with my toilet. Most of them said they needed to take a look at the problem to give me a quote. That's fair, however 2 of them stated their standard rate for toilet auger. Burtech's pricing was reasonable (half than the other business) so I decided to schedule with them. After explaining a bit further the issue via text, they said a technician would come to evaluate, at no charge. They arrived promptly at the time and after inspection, it was a very simple thing, a small tube was disconnected. Nothing really to fix, so they didn't charge me anything. My husband asked for an estimate to replace our water pressure regulator through Yelp. He got 3 estimates: $338, $350, and $400. Dominic, the owner of Burtech, responded back to my husband within 10 minutes with the lowest estimate of $338 and said they can take care of it the next day between 10 to 12 noon. My husband decided to go with Burtech due to the lowest price. Our technician, Jaime, showed up at our door 5 minutes before 10am, diagnosed the problem, and took care of it within an hour and a half. He also pointed out there was a leak at the main valve and said he could cut out the old one and soder in the new valve for $80, which we immediately agreed. We were completely happy with Dominic's quick response and Jaime's service. We especially liked working with Jaime. He was very personable and professional. Dave came out to assess replacing my water heater, gave me a quote that was competitive, and didn't suggest any work that that didn't need to be done. Burtech said they could come out and do the install the same day I called them back. Day of, Burtech chose a water heater of good quality instead of skimping out on costs. Dave installed it efficiently, was very respectful of the property, and even cleaned up a lot of the gas piping the previous plumbers had installed poorly in a reasonable amount of time. I was impressed by the level of craftsmanship and professionalism from Dave and Burtech. I had great customer service even when I asked some annoying questions on the phone and there were no miscommunications between their HQ and their tradesmen -- all signs point to a tight ship. I believe that Burtech Plumbing Company was the most professional Company when Bert a drain cleaning specialist came out to my home for my 10 a. m. appointment that was on Friday, November 12, 2021. When Bert arrived at my home, he was wearing a navy blue uniform, a face mask and Bert was also wearing these (Booties) called shoe coverings over his shoes to prevent my carpet from receiving dirt and debris when Bert needed to walk out to his truck to pick up a Badger Garbage Disposal and then to return to my house to enter my home to replace this part underneath my kitchen sink. Bert this drain cleaning specialist was also very personable, and professional to me their new customer. I felt very comfortable with Bert because he was very polite to me. I told Bert sometimes it is difficult for me as a single woman and living alone to be able for me to Trust a service person. Bert was very understanding to my issue. Bert said he wants to make me feel more comfortable so when he walks out the front door Bert said the next time he will knock on the door to let me know when he will be coming inside my house again. I had a clogged kitchen drain and a leak under the sink Saturday night. I went through Yelp to find a plumber, get quotes, and schedule service. Burtech was the first to reply - within the hour. Burtech had the most favorable reviews of all the responders so I went with them. I also liked the flat rate of $125. The scheduler said the soonest they could come out was Tuesday, but ultimately, he was able to schedule earlier on Monday 2p-4p. On Monday, Kyle called and texted, advising his ETA was 1:15. Yes! He was early. After troubleshooting Kyle advised I had only to pay the flat rate of $125 because he didn't need to do the snake. He proceeded to unclog the trap and fix the leak which he sealed up with multiple types of sealants to make sure it wouldn't leak again. He also advised that there is a 90 day warranty on his work which was reassuring. I appreciate Kyle's honesty, friendliness, and professionalism. Oh and he used booties which I really liked because I always remove my shoes. I will definitely be calling Burtech for future plumbing needs. Word to the wise- don't put Brussels sprout stems in the garbage disposal!! read more

The worst! Called about a clogged kitchen sink and it took over a day for them to show up. I guess because I asked for the $89 special, they don't try as hard. After 40 minutes the technician said he could not clear the clog (left a mess) and said I need to have it "mini jetted" for $370. But they could not do the service for 2 more days. Then I get a text canceling that appointment and moving it out an additional 2 days. Apparently some one needed a water heater replaced and that was more important than my job (certainly a higher $ value). I called another plumber, they came out, same day, within an hour and cleared the clog within 30 minutes. All ended well, but Burtech will never receive any business from me. read more

TL;DR: These guys were great. I randomly measured my water pressure and found that it was over 90 psi. After trying to adjust it, I discovered that the regulator was just not working and I needed to get it replaced. I did the typical project / bidding thing on Yelp to find a plumber to replace the regulator, replace the shut-off valve (the old one I had was leaky), and also tee off to another ball valve so that I could hook up some PVC for a future irrigation project. I provided specific instructions for what I wanted and photos of the current setup so that all of the plumbers could accurately bid the project. As usual, a couple plumbers quoted some crazy high prices, a couple needed to schedule an appointment to come out for some reason before they could bid the job, and the rest gave me reasonable estimates. After looking a bit more in to the companies that gave me reasonable estimates, I ended up going with Burtech. They were really responsive, had great communication, showed up exactly when they said they would, and did some really nice looking work that works exactly as it should. The plumber was really personable also. Five stars - I'll call them for my next project. read more

Found myself with a backed up kitchen sink on a Saturday afternoon. Reached out to a couple places that had emergency services listed interestingly a couple of the places had no availability for multiple days out. Burtech was able to secure me an appointment the next morning at 10am (on a Sunday), and even mentioned that if something cancels before then they'll call. They provide a 2 hour window (10-12) for the appointment with a call before they come out. They called about 11:30 to let me know they're going to be about 90 minutes late because the job they're on is taking longer than expected. I appreciated the heads up. Dave called a short time later to let me know he was on his way. It was an easy job for him, didn't take long, and was very friendly.
