I love this place! My family and I can agree on very few restaurants but trust me when i say this is our number one agreed upon one! The food is so affordable and I love the variety of options they have. You can truly make your own items! The staff is always super kind and I have gotten really good suggestions from them of ingredients to add to my dinner. Such helpful people! This place is fabulous. It looks as if it may have been a frozen yogurt place at one point. You choose all the toppings, and it's absolutely delicious, and enormous I'm here during Canaloween in Yardley, and it's packed. I read another review from 5 months ago. Although I chose a chicken that was in a sauce, and not grilled, it was flavorful and not over cooked, and all the toppings appeared to be very fresh. Eat in, or take out. read more

This place is an atrocity. I stopped in the other day with some colleagues for lunch and I was shocked at how bad it was. As we were lining up to order, I was checking out the offerings and couldn't help but notice that they keep their "grilled chicken" sitting in a warming tray full of water. Oh yay, boiled grilled chicken. Who doesn't love that? Anyway, against my better judgment I still got something and went with a burrito bowl with yellow rice, beans, beef and a variety of salads and toppings. It was not good at all. Imagine taking a crappy leftover burrito out of your fridge and microwaving it for a few minutes. Essentially that's what this place serves. The rice was dried out, the meat was bland, chewy and had inedible pieces in it and the vegetable toppings were either boring or just plain bad. I saw that this place was 3 stars going in so I wasn't expecting much, but I didn't realize it would be this lame. Also, what surprised me most was that people were giving this place four or five star ratings. Shocker. Four or five stars for this?? Maybe they had a different owner or menu a few years ago. As is, it's just plain bad. I have no professional culinary experience and I could easily make better, fresher and more flavorful burritos than this. Zero stars. Hard pass. read more

Would probably give 3.5 stars if I could. Pre covid was strong 4, but there was a much better on premise experience. I think they are still in covid mode (minimal seating, no condiments (miss the hot sauce guys!)) etc etc. In some sense I think they shifted more to pickup/delivery? Not sure. Food is (always) good. I sneak over there for a quick lunch now and then. Same sort of idea as a chipolte, build a burrito, but I think the quality is remarkably fresher/tastier than the chains. Good nachos also. Couple seats around the area outside, and a little "park" by the parking lot behind it... so you can eat outside if that makes you more comfortable. I try to go when the weather is pleasant to sit outside, feeling like a king with a huge burrito :D. Vaults across the street if you want to get a beer or three first. Regarding service, we consistently get good (but basic) service from them over many years now, so I'm not really sure what is happening with other customers. Maybe covid stresses. I think it can be a pain if they are busy and you don't know what you want (not just for them though). Anway, we had only one issue in last year, a mixed up (delivery) dish, and they gave us options to fix it; totally took care of it, no problem. The food is good. Disappointed in the cooks without masks over their noses. Two of them only had it over their mouth; one girl hurried up and put it on when I walked in and the other guy just went about making food. I said something and the cashier was blasé. I know everyone has covid fatigue, but they require customers to wear masks, and they should def be preparing food with masks on. Trying real hard to support local businesses during this mess but come on, please comply with guidelines and keep your customers safe. :( read more

Chimichanga was huge. It cost $10. I was asked what kind of sauce I wanted and I told them ranchero cheese sauce. I got no sauce. The food was bland. I got the owner's name because he wasn't there, which is Israel. I called the restaurant the next day and was told no Israel works there. I looked into business records and found out that Israel Barosso owns this restaurant and the Buritto's in New Hope. It's apparent he doesn't give a crap about his food quality or customers. I'm going to buck the trend and consider Burritos very good! Compared to places such as Chipotle this is a step up, and is a very kind and family-centered shop. I made a big order for pickup and they had it ready, efficiently packed, and even brought some of the bags out to my car for me! The avocado salad with grilled chicken was a highlight and everyone liked their burritos and chips. Portions are a big gargantuan, which to me is almost a slight, but I suppose is expected for this cuisine. After many good to great Mexican and Central American meals in and around Trenton, Burritos is a bit tame for my taste. What do I mean? Well, the food is about as good as any average Casa Mexicana across the river, but the atmosphere is not from South of the Border. It is rather staid. The only Spanish I heard was from the television tuned to a futbol game. I think I may have heard the friendly people behind the counter also habla algunas palabras. No music. No Latin American art. Neutral colors. A dull environment. Yet, my chicken flautas were pretty good, loaded with chicken and cheese, and deep fried to a dark brown ultra crisp finish, that defied the plastic fork and knife effort to cut through them. I could crush them, but the utensils were too weak to actually do much work. I ended up using my hands. Burritos does a nice job loading up the top of the dish with guacamole, lettuce, tomato, corn, salsas, and almost anything else they have on the work space in front of them. This in addition to the rice and black beans that tag along as accompaniment. I found the mango salsa to be quite tasty. They put a ton of food on the plate, and dare you to finish it all. I couldn't, but I was so full I did not want to think about taking the rest home. The servers are cool, but way different that the crews that serve me in Trenton. Those folks barely speak any Ingles, and work with primarily Spanish speakers, while here the folks appear bilingual and geared for the Yardley crowd. Certainly better than Chipotle and Taco Belch, but not the full monty found across the river in the old Chambersburg part of Trenton City or Hamilton. read more

This is a terrific addition to the food options in downtown Yardley. It has about five or six tables and additional outdoor dining tables and chairs will be added to the brick sidewalk next to the bike shop next door in a few weeks. The grand opening was last week and the owners are providing everything the previous occupants (Almas's Tex-Mex) of this address did not: consistent hours, stable menu, good customer service and Tex-Mex basics like burritos and quesadillas. This is a quick-serve restaurant style similar to Qdoba or Chipotle. The pork burrito bowl, adobe chicken burrito and beef tacos we got were very good as were the chips. There were several options available for each and the soft taco tortillas were grilled fresh to order. The guacamole was tasty. The shop offers bottles of Jarrito and Mexican Coke. The minor downsides: The beans (black and pinto) are pulverized into a paste. You need to get the spicy salsas because the mild salsa has the consistency of tomato juice. read more

I don't like to leave poor reviews, but I'm just in disbelief. The one positive thing I will say is that the woman I spoke to was very friendly. But the reason for the one star is that my boyfriend and I ordered a burrito and a traditional quesadilla (that was listed as just having chicken, cheese, and topped with sour cream). Ended up with tacos and a burrito bowl. When we called them to let them know that we had been sent the wrong order, we were assured that our order was correct and that's "just how the traditional quesadillas come". We were offered a refund. We were a little taken aback so we said it was ok and hung up. Upon inspecting the food carefully and googling to make sure we weren't nuts, we called back. We were again told that "that's how they come." Apparently traditional quesadillas, unlike the description, are tacos with shredded chicken, lettuce and pico de gallo, topped with cheese (maybe cheese is "traditional sour cream?"). We were told they ran out of flour tortillas so they "improvised" with corn tortillas. This may also explain why the burrito came without a tortilla. It would have been nice to have received a phone call before the order was delivered (or even an explanation when it was delivered!) that it could not be fulfilled as ordered. We did take the refund the second time but with the implication that it would only be for the burrito bowl that arrived. I was told the manager wasn't in so my refund would be processed in the morning but I'm not holding my breath and I'd rather not deal with a third call to this establishment. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. P.S. the "improvised" order was god awful. It's a shame to waste food but I'll pretend my garbage can was hungry to make myself feel better.. read more

Fresh food, made to order as you stand in line. Not opened two weeks yet. The food was delicious but they've got some things to work through. The three people working at 6pm were not enough and the line moved kind of slow. My buddy had a burrito, which was huge and he said was great. My taco salad was fantastic too but I wondered if it was prepared the way it should be since it only half filled the container, plus the girl who made it (not the head woman) had me read the ingredients to her from the menu since she wasn't sure what went in it. I also had the black bean soup which was as tasty as I've ever had, but scalding hot and no proper soup spoon. They might want to separate the tables so more parties could be seated, and someone working the register at peak times so the food prep folks didn't have it stop to ring folks up. Bottom line is that I look forward to trying them again. And I've heard great things about their Plumsteadville restaurant too. read more

I work in yardley and eat here often. The food is very high quality a lot of fresh cooked meats and fresh veggies. The issue is a lot of the food doesn't seem to be seasoned well enough. I've tried burritos burrito bowls flautas and basically everything else on the menu and the the lack of flavor is apparent in all the food Burritos is byob and they do offer mixers for margaritas which is nice. The staff is very friendly and they make your food right in front of you so you know it's fresh. They also offer outdoor seating which on a nice summer night in yardley. read more

First time I have been to this local spot. The staff was very friendly. We got flautas they were really good-done very well. I got the enchiladas they were good not the best I have had. The churros were wonderful. That is definitely a treat to have since I don't get to eat them much...now I may just have to go all the time. Oh and the horchata was tasty.
