Pig burrito - ham bacon sausage eggs potatoes
    Monty H.

Checked this place out because of all the great reviews on the breakfast burritos. It is definitely a must try! We ordered the chorizo burrito and the ham/bacon (pig) burrito. The pig burrito was my favorite and stuffed with meat, fresh eggs, potatoes, and with the green salsa it was perfection. The chorizo burrito was good but had an interesting cinnamon flavor that didn't have the traditional chorizo flavor. My wife who usually love chorizo thought it was just ok. Overall I'd highly recommend this place. Everything was fresh and the service was friendly and quick. The restaurant is taco truck in a parking lot but and has a decent amount of parking. Also, check the hours before you go. Weekends are only till 12 and only serve breakfast all day. We will definitely come back and check out many of the other burrito options.

Great price, great flavor! We were so surprised by burrito express! We got 3 different breakfast burritos: steak and eggs, chorizo, and the pig one. They were all stuffed and flavored to perfection. My favorite nest was the carne asada, they flavored it perfectly! And the potatoes inside of it were great too. For Seattle, the prices can't be beat! The food truck is in a parking lot that does have some spaces but it is a tight lot. My family of 15 is coming for my graduation soon, and I can't wait to bring them all here for breakfast one day :) Make sure you stop by the Scene right across the street for a matcha or coffee with your breakfast burrito!

Lunch might be better than breakfast looks. Breakfast still the OG tho. Their red salsa is insane. Check them out!

Found a piece of sharp plastic in my breakfast burrito. A shame because I usually love this place. They better not be getting careless.

Where has this place been all my life? It's delicious enough that I am sad we only just discovered it. Absolute new favorite - fast and friendly, SO MANY great breakfast burrito choices. Awesome grab and go food.

Delicious, warming, top tier! Been searching the city all over for grab and go breakfast burritos and super happy we can here! It's locally POC owned and will not disappoint! The wait was not long, service was good and very quick. It's a food truck so if it's raining, they do have a small cover while you wait. Overall I would recommend if you're hangry!

    Steak ranchero burrito

Tasty tasty tasty! I have been wanting to try this place for awhile and today ended up being the day! I got the steak ranchero burrito which was perfectly seasoned and the smoky salsa - also delicious but spicier than I anticipated. Total came to $9.00 before tax. Overall, definitely a delicious breakfast burrito and great, fast service. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was the size. I usually split breakfast burritos with my boyfriend because I don't have a huge appetite but I ate this whole burrito easily. The value is absolutely there and the burrito isn't too small, it's just not quite as big as other ones I've gotten in the area for similar prices. But quality over quantity!

10/10. There is nothing I love more than a family owned and operated business with amazing food. I love how you can feel the passion from the owners upon your first arrival. Love this place! The portions are great for the low prices. I can't think of any other place where you can find amazing quality burritos for $5.95! I ordered the Don Pancho Chorizo burrito and it was FIRE. Generous portions of crispy chorizo, perfectly crispy potatoes, just the right amount of eggs and the salsas were phenomenal! I love that the owners were present and engaging with their customers. Despite this being an outdoor food truck concept, you almost felt as if you were getting an indoor dining experience with how attentive the owners are! Super friendly! Cannot wait to come back to try the tortas and other burritos. A MUST TRY! Worth the drive for those that are not in the area.

The ceviche was fresh and loved that they added shredded carrots for extra crunchiness. Tacos de carne were delicious, with the meat properly seasoned. I shared the mole enchiladas and lengua en salsa verde from this Mexican place…read more Of these, the lengua en salsa verde was my favorite. The beef tongue was cooked pretty well. Although it's naturally very fatty, the flavor and juiciness was retained after cooking - so they didn't screw it up. The salsa verde was a very nice accompaniment, as it tasted light, fresh, and a good complement to the fat of the meat. The mole enchiladas were less good. The mole sauce used leaned way too heavily on a sweet flavor - having little to no nuttiness whatsoever. It didn't taste anywhere close to some of the best moles I've had. The enchilada underneath was fine - nothing special. Both dishes came with beans and rice. Both were slightly above average, but nothing to write home about. I would say the portions were well sized in terms of overall amount, but the enchiladas were quite small compared to the beans and rice. With these two dishes we ended up around 28 per person. Overall, it's average Mexican food. 6.5/10

(those burritos are massive omg.) the mole enchiladas were SOOO good, as were the cashew poblano enchiladas. their sauces are so yummy and the presentation was on-point for both enchiladas. i also had a bite of my friend's carne en morita which is a slow cooked pork dish, and i was obsessed. the only thing i'd say to pass on would be the tacos. drinks were also great and had amazing presentation. i was very satisfied with my carajillo and my friend's passion fruit mojito was also very tasty (you could NOT taste the alc in it i swear) overall, koko's is a great spot if you're looking to dress up for a cute night out but also craving some tasty mexican food.

However, I just found out you can put your self on the waitlist on their website if it's busy. Sundays are the best days to go as it's not as busy and they were able to accommodate a big party. The restaurant also has a parking lot for people to park at as well, so that is a plus! The drink menu is very limited, they don't have a full bar. I ordered the skinny margarita and it was good. The food is authentic and if you are looking for authentic Mexican food, D'La Santa is the spot. We ordered the queso and the rajitas. Both appetizers are really good, came out super hot. Highly recommend. I got the carne asada plate and added an extra mini quesadilla. The carne is very seasoned so you have to eat it with the tortilla to balance out the saltiness. The service was fast and our waiter was very attentive.

We went on a Sunday and I was really hoping to try the tiramisu and bone marrow, but they weren't available at the date and time we went (shed a tear). Still, what we ordered completely made up for it. We had the torta ahogada, costillita en salsa roja, and moyetes dulces and I was honestly blown away. They absolutely nailed the tortas ahogadas. They were so good we ordered three more to go. I would gladly drive that hour and a half again just to eat here. I'll definitely be taking pictures next time! Also great service, they're super nice and attentive.

So many of our regular spots had lines out the door, which was no surprise, but we ended up getting a table here. Figured Mexican food is hard to mess up. Started with drinks- THE BEST MARGARITA I HAVE EVER HAD. It was perfectly balanced, fresh, just perfect to me. My fiance got a horchata and loved it too. They have an option where you can try ALL of their dips for $20, which I couldn't resist. It was so fun, they had like 9 different ones! I got the shrimp tacos and they were so flavorful that I almost gasped. The creamy sauce, crunchy veggie toppers, smooth avocado, and perfectly cooked shrimp...just wow. I will be dreaming about this dish for years to come. I am a pescatarian and gluten free and there were TONS of options for me. They mostly use corn for everything, not flour. The staff was gracious and kind. They seemed a little understaffed but truly made the most of it and made every table feel attended to and special, which was so lovely. Really cool vibe- lots of art and special touches. A really cool place that I can't wait to recommend to friends.

Went back to Maiz Molino recently on a Sunday night for dinner w/ friends. I was disappointed to…read moresee that the menu has changed a lot (and not just seasonally, but just a completely different menu) since the last time I visited (maybe a year ago or so). Before it seemed like Maiz Molino was focusing on elevated, unique Mexican dishes (shown in the pics in my prior review such as short rib, and other sort of "fusion" dishes, and more seafood focused, etc.) Now, the menu seems way more generic and casual like enchiladas, tacos, quesadillas, tamales, etc. just offered w/ different proteins. They are still focusing on maiz but just a bit more generic in the preparation and offerings. Also, they had 2 separate menus which was a bit confusing. One is a generic all day menu and then another menu had brunch and dinner on it. It was around 5:30 p.m. but they were out of a particular steak dish that we were interested in. Service was friendly. We had enchiladas, a dip sampler (for appetizer) and Tlacoyos. Everything was fine but nothing really stood out, sadly. It wasn't very busy while we were there, so hoping that they are doing ok as a business. I would love to come back if they brought back the old menu w/ things that you cannot really find elsewhere, including the great cocktail menu and desserts that were offered previously.
