The carne asada taco salad is under $6 and tastes amazing with jalapeños and the green mild sauce they have

MUST TRY !!!! Five stars I love their taco salad as well as asada burrito with jalapeños and their home made green salsa! So delicious!!!! This is a mom & pops spot that survived through the pandemic & stil has the same amazing quality ! My favorite burrito spot!!!

First came here in 2006! Still pretty damn good! Chicken nachos, California burrito, everything is great. Owner is an awesome guy and very kind

    The Torta

I was very disappointed in the torta. They're not on the regular torta bread. It's on a sandwich roll. They're very small. They try to put everything on it and everything just falls out of it. It was just a mess. It's so small they give you fries on the side because you will not be full. So I will never order that again. It's not worth $13.49 maybe $5

Breakfast burritos are served till 12 noon. Made it just in time, and got the bacon and eggs burrito with mild sauce on the side. It was a good size, not an overwhelming amount of beans and rice which had good flavor, a nice saltiness from the bacon though they seemed to go light on the bacon, and certainly no shortage of scrambled eggs which were delish. The mild salsa added just the right zestiness, and is recommended otherwise the burrito would be a bit dry (they offer jalapenos and spicier salsas too). Clean restaurant, indoor and outdoor seating available, ample parking in the plaza, friendly and efficient service, and about a 10-minute wait time on a Wednesday. A satisfying meal and experience altogether.

Daughter walked to this place as we live across. Nachos were stale. Very Disappointing.

Great service Decent prices I definitely will have to give this another try. It may have been my choices that lead to my experience. I got the California burrito with carne asada. There was so much meat which is normally a good thing, but for me it was too much. Also wish it wasn't just cheese fries and steak. Essentials yes but I was hoping for a better balance of flavors.

Burrito Express has been around for a long time, even back when I was a new High School student (which was 6 years ago). This is the food joint that is so conveniently located directly next to the high school that everyone was aware of. If anyone was in the mood for delicious Mexican Food, "Burrito Express" are the first two words to come to mind. Long story short, everything here is good. From the tortillas down to the Enchiladas which are my all-time favorites. A small but simple location produces tasty Mexican food that no one could get tired of.

The server was nice, but there was only one for the entire restaurant. She took orders and made drinks. When we were finished with our meal the one server was taking the orders for the table of ten. By the time she took the orders and entered it in the computer, it had been about 30 minutes. She asked if we wanted dessert and I said no because I was just tired of waiting. So we asked for our check. They use one of those little handheld devices to pay at the table (which was great!) but we had to wait for her to make more drinks first. The food was decent but way too salty. Almost every dish was so salty I almost couldn't eat it. The octopus was cooked ok but quite bland. The duck rice was probably my favorite. The dishes got cold really fast sitting under the A/C, which probably didn't help. The drinks were pretty good. I'm honestly shocked that this has Bib Gourmand status and from the same owners as Adega. Maybe it's a different experience on the weekend when it's busier. Honestly, if they didn't want to hire more than one server/bartender they should just close. The lack of people working didn't help their reputation in my mind and I don't know if I'd ever go back. For the price I expected a lot more from the reputation.

As previously mentioned, the items serving sizes are single serving size for the most part (although the Saba Shioyaki is good for 1-2 servings). Everything is well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Highlights: -Brussel Sprouts Crispy Brussel sprout leaves, baked to a delicious crisp. Well seasoned with a generous amount of flavored oil. -Saba Shioyaki Moist and flavorful with bright vinegar /citrus sauce. (Does have a few bones, so be careful) -Short Rib BBQ Skewer Juicy and tender, perfectly cooked full of flavor. I could eat these all day! I highly recommend this restaurant. There is a nice variety of food options, everything was flavorful, and the staff was courteous and their service was quick.

We finally made it, and we were so glad we tried it! My husband and I stopped in for a date night featuring appetizers and drinks, and what a fun restaurant it turned out to be. The service was superb, and both the drinks and appetizers were tasty, fun, and beautifully designed. We enjoyed one of our classic favorites when we dine out: heirloom tomatoes and burrata. It certainly did not disappoint. We also tried the Kobe Steak Tartare, which was a first for us anywhere. Since I wasn't drinking that evening, I chose a zero-proof option called Serendipity, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. My husband explored the cocktail menu with the Kentucky Buck, Second Wind, Man and His Mule, and Picture Perfect--which was brilliantly served in glassware that looked like a camera lens! He thoroughly enjoyed every single one of them. Every drink was meticulously created with a fun, imaginative theme, including one playful cocktail served in a mini bathtub complete with a rubber duck in it (though I can't recall the exact name). It's definitely one I'll have to try on our next visit!
