Worst Korean food in the DFW area. You can get SO much better elsewhere. We ordered 4 bowls and both types of appetizers and 2 of the bowls were wrong completely. All of the food was cold Table was sticky and had old food on it The galbi bowl ONLY had bones and hardly any meat attached?!? Really good food. I may not be Korean, but I've visited may times and can recognize authentic flavor. I suggest you go try it and be adventurous in your selections. Wife doesn't go for spicy so she got traditional al bulgogi, white rice, bean sprouts, and noodles. Not very adventurous but traditional none the less. I went for the spicy garlic pork, Kimchi rice, Kimchi (cant have too much Kimchi), egg, sprouts, mushrooms, and spinach. Only thing missing was the Soju. read more

I love this place. I have been eating at The Colony location for some time now and was very happy when this location opened. I think the menu is simple. If it is your first time maybe go on line ahead of time so you know what you want. I don't always like crispy rice so I go for the regular bowl. The bulgogi is great. My new favorite is the spicy pork. To try everything I ordered 2 kids bowls at a time so I could get the combination that worked for me. White Rice, Spicy Pork, Kimchi, noodles, zucchini and an egg. Taste great every time. I like the kimchi rice as well when I am getting a non spicy meat. read more

It's a chain. Small portions and potstickers had an awful fishy taste and were completely inedible. Pretty disappointed since there's good reviews of the place. I'll stick with NAMOO. read more

We were looking for a new place to try out and had no idea this was here. The decor is attractive and the staff was extremely welcoming, friendly, and polite. There are a ton of options for crafting your own bowl. I ended up with kimchi-stirred rice, spicy chicken, and every single topping. We were pleasantly surprised that there is a bar with free soup and salad while you wait for your food. Both soups were delicious. My entree was fantastic, I loved the spicy sauce on the chicken, the rice was great, and every topping was perfect. I highly recommend checking this place out! read more

My Wife and I have been coming to this location for the past year. We absolutely love this style of food, that said there have been many changes that I feel weren't necessary and unfortunately drop this 5 star worthy establishment to a 3. They used to have many protein options (some which were seasonal which is totally understandable) but now they have limited the options. Additionally customizable options have been dwindled down to just a handful amount of options. The sauce bottles which really was fun for customizing your bowl to how you would like it from tangy bbq, spicy chili soy, even up to everyone's favorite gochujang. Are now pumps that don't pump that well, sauces that are luke warm at best, and range of flavors that anyone can achieve with salt and pepper. Finally the bowls. For the amount of money they charge I used to get my food when I dined in in a nice bowl now it's a to go container. The best way to put it is this establishment has the opportunity to be a consistent 5 star but with the recent changes you're on the path to becoming no better than Panda Express. If the franchise manger reads this I would take a lot of the recent feedback and listen to it. The amount of foot traffic coming through the door has dwindled. read more

I have already eaten here several times, and I apologize for putting off reviewing this lovely restaurant until now. Since Burning Rice is relatively new, the interior is very simple and casual, which is suitable for a relaxing meal. The staff here are very kind, and always greet you with a smile. Pro tip: whenever you order here, spend the extra dollar and get the hot stone bowl. It makes a world of difference, and enhances the overall flavor of the ingredients after you mix them all together. If this is your first time here, or trying Korean food, then I would recommend getting the kimchi fried rice as your base, and then getting the Spicy Bulgogi (beef), which is extremely tender and juicy. Also for the toppings, I usually get everything except bean sprouts, and they provide a generous amount of the extra toppings. Please don't forget to add a sunny side up egg as well! Lastly, make sure to dine in at Burning Rice because there is a complementary salad bar, and soup bar. The miso soup, and seaweed soup both serve as fantastic appetizers! We decided to use Yelp's highly convenient delivery service for a lazy Saturday dinner and were happily surprised to see Burning Rice on the list. We were especially excited that they deliver to our place since most restaurants in that area do not! Our first experience with this restaurant was at the location in Lewisville and we really enjoyed the food, so it was great to see them open up a Hurst location that is closer to us. Not only is their food wonderful, but the portions are big, and the menu is decently priced. I could tell they put care into the packaging of our food and were very detail oriented. We look forward to dining in the restaurant for their yummy soup and salad bar! Keep up the good work Burning Rice! read more

I was so excited to try the food here. I'm glad I stopped by. I ordered a bowl with bbq chicken, brown rice, lots of veggies and topped off with an egg. They have a chili sauce that's really yummy that taste similar to sriracha. The place looked clean and had a nice atmosphere. This is a place I'll come back to many times. read more

Interesting meal for me as I am unfamiliar with Korean food. I picked the stone bowl with veggie rice, spicy pork, and a variety of other veggies. The mixture was very tasty, definitely spicy, filling, but also salty. The side salad with ginger dressing was a welcomed flavor. I enjoyed a taste of the seaweed soup as well. Slices of orange were a nice treat to round out a fun change of pace from the usual local fast food type restaurants. Unfortunately my dining companion is not a fan of Korean food and ended up bringing most of his bowl home for the dog, who was thrilled and gobbled up every bit. read more

Very simple concept of selling only one speciality item, bimbimbap. I had ordered the spicy pork regular bowl with all toppings. Definitely good for bimbimbap for the area. Really good food placement and aesthetics. The spicy pork that the cashier had recommended was very easy to chew and had good taste. All the toppings were pretty good but the kimchi was a bit more on the sour end. I also liked how they had an extra section to add complementary items to your meal like miso/seaweed soup, various vegetables and sauces. Very fast service and definitely a good interior! read more

Really solid choice for food in an area that was lacking some more diverse cuisine. We have been twice since they have opened and have not been disappointed in the least. We have tried the pineapple pork, chicken and beef and loved everything! Soup and salad come with your meal and the kimchi rice is the perfect accompaniment to there bowls. Highly recommend the hot bowl because the crunchy rice it creates really sets everything off. Good concept, I had regular bowl, spicy chicken, kimchi rice with everything. The included soup and salad was good. The kimchi rice didn't really to the flavor of the bowl. The spicy chicken was dried, the spicy marinade didn't add flavor to the chicken, will try regular meat next time. read more

Recently we carried out from Burning Rice. In the past we have eaten in. While the food was good from carry out I personally prefer to have the hot stone bowl in the restaurant. The hot stone bowl is wonderful. I like to get the spicy pork ,my husband gets the garlic pork, with veggie rice and most of the vegetables plus the egg on top. I once went to burning rice 3 to 4 a month. I valued the salad bar and the miso soup. Since Covid started they took away the salad and soup and increased prices. The hot stone bowl's are good. Just wish they would bring back the salad and soup. Until then I will take my business down the street to namoo(sic)? Where they do offer seaweed soup. This would be 5 stars,but no soup and salad...no 5 stars. read more

My husband found the Red Barn Bar BQ a few days ago and could not wait to go back - so there I was - a Saturday afternoon where the heat was over 86 degrees. And it was the best brisket I have eaten so far. It wasn't heavily smoked (so I didn't taste it for the rest of the day) and I didn't feel heavy and had that normal regretting feeling l have when eating this when it's warm outside. I enjoyed every single bite. They also have hand cut fries (love that as you don't see hand cut fries often around where I live). This one is worth the drive, friends. And it's owned by the original person who started this place years ago.

My wife and I visited a barbecue restaurant we hadn't tried yet, "Rosako's Soulfood and BBQ." (2816…read moreBrown Trail, Bedford, TX 76021) As soon as I got out of my car, I knew I'd found something interesting. The restaurant had a sign stating, "Electric vehicle charging available here." Just to the right of the sign were two Level 2 chargers. We each ordered two 2 meat plates, which included two sides. When we got home and opened the to-go boxes, we realized we had WAY over-ordered. We had enough for two meals for each of us! We had chicken and pork ribs, mac & cheese and flat green beans. It was very tasty with a sweet and spicy barbecue sauce. I spoke with the owner and thanked him for supporting EVs, to which he replied, "How could I not? It's what's coming. How could I not get on board?" He mentioned that quite a few of his customers found him on Plugshare.com and stop by regularly for a meal and charge. I had to Google "So mote it be."
