The store itself is very large and has a great selection of snacks, name-brand items, household products, and travel-size essentials. Customer service was also great--the cashier was very friendly and pleasant. Of course, Dollar Tree has changed quite a bit over the years. It's obviously no longer a dollar store since most items are now $1.25, and there are also some items priced around $3-$4. That said, the pricing is clearly marked, so it's easy to tell what you're paying for before checking out. They also still have some items and specials for just $1. I actually stopped in to pick up some snacks and travel-size items for a flight, and this is where Dollar Tree really comes in handy. I'd much rather pay $1.25 for a travel-size mouthwash, soap, or similar item here than spend $3 or more at CVS for essentially the same thing. Overall, even though Dollar Tree has raised its prices, I still think it's a very reasonable place to shop. This location is big, well-stocked, convenient, and has a lot of great deals if you take the time to look around.

As I was waiting at the cash register, I noticed a nice gold egg shaped basket that I Ended up getting, instead of the initial basket that I picked up. The lady at the register was VERY VERY RUDE and went back and forth with me about not getting a carriage when I first came in and because I wanted to replace the mini basket for the gold egg shaped basket. She said she was the only associate in the store and was upset because she would have to bring the mini basket back to its aisle. Since she made a big deal over something so small, I insisted that I would put the mini basket back in its aisle, which I did. This was UNPROFESSIONAL and UNNECESSARY!!

I was mainly looking for some storage bins, and they had plenty to choose from at really good prices. I also checked out the eat for free section and found some of the Poppi drinks my husband loves, which ended up being a great deal. I paid $40 for the drinks and got $40 back on a gift card, so I was definitely happy with that. They also had kids' water shoes on a really good deal, but unfortunately they didn't ring up correctly at the register. I was in a little bit of a rush and the manager was helping someone at the other register, so I just had the shoes taken off because I didn't have time to wait. Honestly, this is something I've run into at several different Ocean State Job Lot locations with some of their "crazy deals." Sometimes they don't come up correctly and have to be manually adjusted, which can be a little frustrating if you're in a hurry.
