This store is a horror show. I brought two items to return to Amazon. I brought them to the rear of the store. There was a sign that said all returns should be brought to the front of the store. I brought my items to the front of the store, stood in line, and was told that all Amazon returns are processed at the rear of the store. GREAT. I give this store 5 stars because their customer service is very good. Cashiers and people on the floor have the ability to make decisions that help the customer. We told the cashier we had a 20% off coupon, but before having to pull it out, the cashier, said... I have one here, I'll scan it for you. Making it easy and painless.... I still find that is best to do research online and find what you like, then go to the store if you'd like and get the item. The reason....I was looking for a toaster oven and a blender. Both items were available online, but as I got to the store, none of the "shelf signs" pointed me to the ones I wanted...the signs were mostly for the higher priced options of the same category. Kohls is only good when there's a ridiculous sale. Such as during my most recent visit. This relatively organized and large department store in Seekonk Square has a wide variety of items to choose from in each department. Like I said, only good during a sale. . . Spent $42 and walked away with a pair of black dress capris, 4 tank tops, and a pair of shorts. Not bad! You can find great deals here, but on things you never knew you needed. Don't come with something in mind, you probably won't find it. Clearance, though well discounted (60 - 80% off list price), is the bottom of the barrel. Think I found 1 dress here over the years, bought off the clearance rack. The rest is not worth the time going through. Some of their styles, for Juniors, are a bit tacky. . . mostly geared toward the pre-teen rather than a 23 year old. Still, it may be worth your time, if you have the extra, to riffle through some racks and see what treasures you may find. Keep your eye out for those sales. . . they are plentiful. Not worth paying full price for this stuff. Plan your trip wisely. read more

Kohl's - Exterior - Department Stores Near Me - SEEKONK, Massachusetts

This Kohl's is laid out really well and they seem to have a great selection of kids/baby clothes - better then my local Kohl's in Smithfield! They also have a great set up for women's clothing & shoes. This store is also super clean compared to the one closer to my house. The one in Smithfield has stuff just about EVERYWHERE making it very difficult to find certain items in your size. Whereas here it's really easy to locate the item you want- in your size. Also all of the employees I encountered at this location were really helpful and friendly- so I'm surprised by all the negative 1-3 star reviews! With all their sales, my coupons and my Kohl's cash ended up doing some back to school shopping and got $342 worth of Clothing for $110! Score! I love this store!!! The coupons are amazing!! Between the kohls cash and 30% coupons you can't best it. I took my son shopping and we bought some extra things along with his winter wardrobe . The savings was terrific! They had a great selection of what he was interested in, There's plenty of parking and there's enough staff to get you out pretty fast. I used to work at this location in 2016. I was struggling with some really bad mental health issues at the time, and as a result I called out a lot. Despite my absenteeism, store management were always incredibly supportive of me. They said that when I was at work, I did a really good job. The only problem was the absenteeism. They were kind and compassionate and did the best they could to help me deal with what I was going through so that I could stay on as an employee. While they were very clear on what they needed from me, my struggles were always validated. No one tried to make me feel like my problems were some kind of character flaw, and they always went out of their way to show a willingness to support me however they could. They were always willing to give me another chance. Not many places are this willing to support people with mental illness and help us stay employed. I used to work at a psychiatric hospital in the area, and their treatment of me was downright hostile, which was deeply ironic, to say the least. I am incredibly grateful for the amount of genuine human decency I was showed as an employee here, and I know that as a consumer, I would want to give my business to a location where employees are treated well. I also very strongly believe that you get the best customer service from employees who feel supported by management, rather than downtrodden and exploited. My one criticism of this specific location: Seekonk is in a region with a lot of Portuguese speakers (between Portuguese immigrants, Cape Verdean immigrants, and even a few Brazilian immigrants) but there was rarely Portuguese-speaking staff in the store. It made it hard to offer quality service to customers who only spoke Portuguese. While working there, I spoke both Spanish and Italian with customers, which they were grateful for, and had I stayed on, I was planning to learn Portuguese. My main criticism of the company: Pushing the Kohl's charge cards is really predatory. I dealt with multiple people who came in saying they had recently been pushed to sign up for a Kohl's charge by someone who had not made it clear that they were signing up for a credit card. I remember in particular one kid came in with his father. The kid, 18 or 19, was clearly very naive, and the father spoke no English. I suspect they were from a country where people don't really use credit cards. The kid had NO idea how credit cards worked, and had rung up a balance of a few hundred without understanding he would have to pay it off. Luckily, it was slow that day, so I had time to give him a lesson in credit cards. I helped him process a payment for the minimum owed, explained about interest, and shared my credit card strategy (don't charge more than you can pay off immediately on pay day). He was not the only customer I ran into who felt taken advantage of by having the card pushed on them, but he was the one my heart hurt most for. Long story short--I don't like how Kohl's and similar companies push store cards, and as a former cashier, I cannot emphasize enough that they are a BAD financial decision. I would like to thank Veronica and staff for making my shopping experience a notable one ,at Kholes in Seekonk, MA. There are a lot of sales going on now in most stores, Kholes has had a massive sale for quite a while. Upon shopping many of the price tags and discounts are marked wrong or in the wrong place. Veronica and staff took the time to check price every item I had, before I bough it and even granted me the lower sales prices on the same merchandise, even though they were marked different. Terrible customer service. Was promised a follow up call with a member of management and never received on. I had to follow up myself and they were under the assumption that I was just going to let the issue go. How do I know the associate that told me she found my missing items didn't pocket them. I called and alerted the store that I misplaced something only to get there to grab them and they were magically no longer there. I am beyond frustrated and at this point will spend my money at Target. read more

This Kohls is clean, well-organized and has friendly staff. They are great about returns, with no questions asked. They always have sales and if you sign up for a charge card you regularly get 10, 20 or 30% off coupons that you can also use on sale items. I would never pay full price here. Just wanted to buy a pair of jeans. 3rd in line, and it stayed that way for 45 mins. Two registers opened and about a 15 customer line long. All because a customer wanted to open a credit card, took three different employees to open a credit card. Watched 3 other employees walk right buy the line and not jump on the register. Manager just stood in front of the store watching the line not move at all, I was in shock, I left. read more

Okay I LOVE Kohl's! Granted I do live close by but it's my #1 store for clothes shopping. They carry decent brands and a good variety. If you sign up for their Kohls charge card they will continually send coupons for 15%- 30% off your entire purchase (including sales). They're also big for periodically offering "early bird" specials. A couple of weeks ago I managed to buy coffee for my Keurig coffee maker, and with all the savings combined the cups came out to 20 something cents each! Obviously I'd recommend shopping here. read more

Love love love kohls so why four stars ?I generally shop at the one near me in Smithfield. I happened to be in seekonk so I thought I'd stop in and see what they had. Clothing wise I did very well. Between my kohls cash and 30% off coupon I got a ton of stuff cheap. I'm huge on customer service Especially since I work for a company who prides itself on it. So imagine my surprise when about five employees kept running past me and did not say hello or even nod at me. They seemed to be in a rush and were putting away stock right next to and right near me. They didn't even say excuse me o get by me. Felt completely ignored. It was very disheartening to me that I was there for two hours and the only person who interacted with me was the cashier. She was wonderful and very polite and friendly. I just wish the rest of the staff that were there were the same. I'll stick to my usual location from now on. read more

I typically really enjoy Kohl's but didn't appreciate the lady 'overseeing' the cosmetics section scolding me for opening the nail polishes to see what their true colors were. First of all, I'm a grown woman. Not a child. Second of all, the nail polish bottle (the Elle section) was so dusty it was disgusting. Maybe if she spent more time cleaning her department instead of chastising her paying customers I wouldn't have walked out sneezing from all the dirt in the store. read more

I am so in shock at how far downhill Kohl's has gone, this one in particular. My parents wanted to buy us a housewarming gift and purchased a $200 Keurig with a coupon. After receiving order and shipping confirmation, my father then received an email and voicemail stating his order had been "cancelled." When he called to inquire as to why, they told him the item was no longer available. When my father looked online, it was still listed at $200. When he called back to complain, the manager admitted to him that they simply did not honor the coupon on this item. Not only did they lie, they didn't honor something they had already sent confirmation for! After going back and forth, the manager agreed to send my father the Keurig. Low and behold, the Keurig was a OPEN BOX RETURN completely banged up, broken, with every piece opened/broken. When I went to return and replace at this location, I was told to "go try to find a replacement if you can" and was offered no help. I was with my 7 month old and had to juggle and 30 pound box and a baby. I'm doing so, I tripped over a dressing pole they were assembling in the middle of the aisle and completely shattered my cell phone. Employees watched and offered no help or apologies. I am in shock. I will FOREVER take my business anywhere but Kohls. read more
