There's parking and it's easy to stop by when you need something simple and don't want to weave thru the parking lot for a bigger store like Target. They do need to do better maintaining the parking lot as there's always litter there and trash strewn about.

I placed the candy inside of the basket and proceeded to the cash register. As I was waiting at the cash register, I noticed a nice gold egg shaped basket that I Ended up getting, instead of the initial basket that I picked up. The lady at the register was VERY VERY RUDE and went back and forth with me about not getting a carriage when I first came in and because I wanted to replace the mini basket for the gold egg shaped basket. She said she was the only associate in the store and was upset because she would have to bring the mini basket back to its aisle. Since she made a big deal over something so small, I insisted that I would put the mini basket back in its aisle, which I did. This was UNPROFESSIONAL and UNNECESSARY!!

Needless to say they store was disorganized, nothing was in its proper place and to top it all off the employees looked dirty and were rude and always behind the counter eating nasty food that smelled. However! I recently went to this location and none of the things I have previously described was the case. The store was clean! Everything was put and its place and the entire staff was new. I'm guessing that ownership of this Family Dollar franchise is in new hands and they actually care about the cleanliness of their store. However, it's still hood, with ghetto, trashy people in and out all day- but I could care less about that. I just want a store that is clean, and I won't die because I ate one of their expired products or a huge box toppled over me in one of the aisles.

I was in the area so I decided to give this one a go and I'm really glad I did. I purchased an adorable butterfly ring from the Jewlery counter and the cashier was absolutely wonderful! She didn't sigh at every request unlike my experience at other Tj Maxx's. I found that most of the people who worked here were wonderful. Another woman told me about all the new items they had just gotten in and pointed me in the right direction. I ended up buying more stuff and when I went to cash out at the register I was in awe at how friendly and helpful this cashier also was. This store is also ORDERLY and neat unlike other TJ's where you can't find anything! Maybe it's because I had so many problems at other stores that I was expecting worse, but I'm glad I gave it a go and I would definitely return to this store! Kudos to the management here for training really helpful and friendly cashiers and for keeping it clean!

Our need for party supplies, holiday decor, badly "grammared" decor, and $1 mylar balloons did not go unnoticed. With the downfall of the previous inhabitants of the building, they were lucky to get a great spot on a busy corner and pretty updated interior... since the previous occupants only recently got a face lift. This local is arranged pretty typically to the other Dollar Trees. Although when you first walk in you're greeted with a mirage of seasonal goodies and no candy in site. I had to search a bit to find the items I wanted. Many of the shelves were not filled, but clearly because they just opened shop. Register personal were happy as usual. I bought 2 items with tax $2.14. I gave her 2-dollar bills and a quarter and she looked at me and waited. "2.14 correct? Here is $2.25 that should cover it." ... " O. Yeah... sorry...". More funny than anything is that many people cannot figure out how to make change any longer. Anyway- I'm just happy there is a Dollar Tree near me.

The cashier has apologized for the long wait and is doing the best he can. But no other workers come up to help them, and they're so busy they can't call for help. While the lines get longer and longer. It's disappointing they have to deal with this. This store looks like it does good business so they should be staffing at least 3 cashiers on register. I'm not coming back to this location for a while. I do find some cool stuff, but it's not worth waiting in the long lines for one thing. The guy who cashed me out last night looked insanely annoyed and frustrated. I don't blame him! The store does have a women's section and home decor section as well. Large parking area in front of the store, as part of the Lincoln Mall.
