Many years ago Burlington was a much different store. You'd go there when you need a coat. The staff was friendly and shopping was fun. My husband and I were looking to waste some time while we were waiting to meet a friend for lunch in the same plaza. The first thing we noticed when we walked in was how dark it was. It's so hard to shop when you walk in and it's not inviting. The second thing we noticed was the manager yelling at an employee to clean up after themselves. While maybe she had a point, yelling it so the entire store could hear it was not okay. We did actually find something we wanted to buy. It was a super cute utensil holder and a fridge organizer that held 18 eggs. We walked to the front to make our purchase only to see the line about 15 deep. We were sure this manager who was so worried about someone cleaning up after themselves would jump in to help the ONE person on the register, but nope, didn't happen. We decided that the 2 things we were going to buy wasn't worth waiting on the line. It would have been one thing if there were a few cashiers - but there was one. Many people in front of us had multiple items. Yes, we abandoned our cart and left. Definitely not a place we will frequent again. read more

I have shopped at three (3) locations in West Broward, but this store is by far my favorite one! Known for great buys in coats and winter wear, I have purchased only two coats in my lifetime from this store. Yet, there isn't a time I have come here to find either jewelry, accessories, baby furniture, or clothing in the Women's, Men's or Children's department that I haven't found a great deal. Additionally, I have walked away with special items from their housewares, and baby departments. As opposed to the touristy Sawgrass location, this one is less frequented, with clean, shiny waxed floors, neat and tidy sections, well merchandised and sorted racks, and helpful customer service associates. I recently shopped here after work and there was an issue with the register not printing my receipt--which I needed for a gift I purchased. The associate made the greatest of efforts in replacing the roll, resetting the register, and finally calling on a manager to assist. Although it took longer than I desired, they were professional and pleasant about the situation and when I returned a few days later, the associate remembered me, apologized yet again for the mishap, and made checkout easy for me. I will keep this store bookmarked, recommend it, and will return often. There is always a large variety of treasures to dig for! read more

Visited this location for just a few things. The store is very organized and clean. They are enforcing the social distancing rule as well as requiring everyone to wear masks. Once you walk in to the store there is a table to your left with sanitizer. The reason why I am giving a 3 star rating is because of the wait time I experienced when I was there. The employees were more concerned about holding a conversation instead of getting the line out the way. There were only two registers open and there was one employee who appeared to be leaving for the day. The employee who was leaving continued to hold conversations with the other two young ladies which honestly held up the process. A customer that was behind me made a comment of "they are more worried about their conversations" and she was clearly annoyed which is understandable. We were standing in line for way more than 20 minutes! The customer ended up pushing all the items she wanted to purchase to the side and walked out. The next customer a few minutes later started to get tiresome as well because of the long wait. This is a nice and clean location, but the wait time was ridiculous that day! read more

I went to this location bc I needed some last minute items. The hours of operation are listed as 8:00am everywhere and iv been here several times early in the morning. Now when you come to the door the sign says 9:30am and everything is closed. If you're going to change your operating hours you need to post it online. Very annoying. This location also used to be a lot bigger and now it's half the size and doesn't have all that much. Honestly neither does the sawgrass location. Burlington seems to be going downhill. Sad bc it's always been a good place to pick up nice clothes for less. read more

This Burliington is OK. They don't seem to have a lot of men's cargo shorts and most of their men's shorts are of the athletic variety. They have a somewhat decent selection of shirts although not a lot in XL. They also don't have a lot of men's dress shoes; however, the tennis shoes are a plenty. I didn't see that many dress pants, either. This is definitely one of those places where you have to hit it right to find what you want. The other issue is that I had to really look hard to find employees other than the cashiers. I only saw one other employee who was available for assistance. I actually had to go up and ask the cashier if the fitting rooms were open because I couldn't find anyone that worked there. I know many places are experiencing a labor shortage and this was a perfect example of it. read more

We had 2 pants, perfume and a charger, she cashed everything out except one of the pants because "it was under the other pants" she claimed she didn't see it even though it was right there. Finally she shoved all of the stuff in the bag so violently, didn't pick it up properly and gave it to us. read more

**Sorry for the long review** - My partner and I( F&F) first went to this location looking for sweaters. Everything went smooth that night. We returned the day right after to exchange an item. There was a loss prevention associate up front and we asked him about the exchange procedure and what we had to do, he seemed flustered and mid question, he walked outside and came in and told us, " you do not have to do the long line just go to that register". We went inside, saw an employee, who was walking to her register, before we even asked anything, we greeted her very kindly and stood to the side as we saw she was with a customer. After standing there for a couple minutes, that employee said in a very snarky tone, " oh no you have to go do the line". My partner replied with," oh we just wanted to ask you a question really quick about --" but before she could even finished the employee interrupted and rudely said " ok wait. I'm with a customer". At this point we were a bit annoyed as we just wanted to know what the exchange procedure was but we decided to just shop around. We ( partner and I found some items we liked and wanted to try on. We headed to the female fitting room but it looked closed. There was an older female employee standing nearby and I, ( female) politely asked her, " hello, is the fitting room open?" To which the employee reacted with rolling her eyes, looked at me up and down, scoffed, and said " yes but you have to go to the other side to the mens". I was confused because she said it was opened! So we just stood there looking at each other awkwardly and my partner asked again, " so is this one not open?" And again, the employee rudely said " yes". I was even more confused and I said, " then why do we have to go to the other side". The employee scuffed again, and said " you know whatever just go in!" At this point, I was confused, and getting upset and I again asked, " why do I have to go to the mens fitting room?? ". The employee, looked at me again, and said " because you have to use the mens " I immediately replied with, " but I'm a female!" And went straight into the females room. I felt embarrassed and discriminated against. Mind you, I understand she is an older person, but I am very much female looking. I do have short hair but you can tell I'm 100% female by my voice, face which was clearly visible as my mask was down, and body anatomy ( if you know what I mean). I understand this can happen to anybody but it was this employees demeanor and way of handling the situation that was very off putting. I was with my partner who is also FEMALE with LONG HAIR so no confusion there and a female toddler so this employee should have not ASSUMED that I was a man. I have never felt this discriminatory feeling before in my life. And for that reason, I will not be visiting this store again. Maybe management should train their employees on sexual bias or judge people by their looks. read more

I would really give this store 3 1/2 stars. When I shop here I always wonder why I do not pop in more often. It is conveniently located for me....right in my Publix shopping center. No need to go to Sawgrass. This store is easier to navigate and less crowded than the Sawgrass location. Compared to other discount stores, like Ross and Marshall's, I find it more organized and easier to maneuver through. They have clothing and accessories for everyone: women, men, kids. I always seem to find something when I shop here. I have bought a variety of items including jeans, dresses, tops, and even suits! Like any discount store, what you find really depends on the day you go and sometimes they have limited sizes. There is not much help and the dressing rooms are pretty messy. It is no frills shopping gYou might not be able to purchase an entire wardrobe here but you can definitely find various items and fillers at great prices! read more

I shop at Burlington pretty frequently especially at this location. Today I had to return a couple of items and even though I gave the sales associate the same phone number I use every time when they ask me, she couldn't locate the items in the system. She also checked by my two credit cards that I generally use & still couldn't locate them. The line started to get longer and one of the girls called for another cashier for help. The supervisor came out to help and asked the associate who was helping me what the problem was. The associate who was helping me was very patient and kind trying her best to find the items. The Supervisor made a comment out loud that I heard, stating "if it's not there, it's not there," as if I wasn't standing there and my refund didn't matter! I work in customer service myself and as a supervisor or manager, that comment is unappreciated and uncalled for! Evidently she couldn't be bothered to help the other staff out. Racist staff! There's an older white lady with red hair and glasses. I came in to exchange a defective item they sold me. I didn't have the receipt (which is my fault) but item still was in original packing and was clearly bought there. She told me she has no proof that I bought this and she wouldn't accept the item. Only because I was BLACK. It was someone WHITE, she would have gladly exchanged the item. Accusing me of not buying something is extremely outrageous and discriminatory. This Burlington is kind of hidden within the same plaza as Publix and Youfit. Though the store is humongous in the inside the outside sign is Itty bitty small. I passed thru here after the gym and they have so much selections like a normal Burlington would be. It is very clean and somewhat neat. The clothes selection varies and if your looking for a certain type of clothing, get ready to search thru so many styles. The sections I'm most interested in is the clearance rack, they have deals that will make you start grabbing the entire rack but let's be reasonable, my pockets will not allow me to do that lol. But they do have good selections. The cashier was super friendly, quick and had a smile on her face the whole time. If I could give a zero star I would. I am hoping upper management can have a word with Liz, the apparent store manager. I came in with my mom to do a a return, she had the receipt and simply wanted a store credit. She had been in the hospital for the past 6 months in and out, and wasn't able to get to the store. Liz said there's nothing she can do besides give us $4 back . I can understand if there was no receipt, but my mom had it. I called to call corporate to not only report them for not following store policy, but file a complaint with their legal team. Burlington, yes they have coats. One of the few places that have winter wear year round. I just find the way they organize their clothing to be outdated. Also, I don't find their prices to be the greatest for what often looks like out dated stuff. I've been to other locations a few times but overall I'm just not a fan. read more

This is the newest Burlington Coat Factory located in Davie. My wife and I visited it last Sunday and, I must say, it was one of the largest and nicest Burlington's that I've ever been to. To begin with, the aisles felt a little wider so manuvering in and out of different departments wasn't that difficult. The staff there were very friendly and the store was in excellent condition - perhaps due to the fact that it had just opened. Anyone who's ever been to a Burlington Coat Factory will still have the same sense of familiarity, so there won't be anything too foreign here. If you're in Davie and refuse to go to Sawgrass Mills to buy a winter coat, sweater, or some of the lastest style of clothes, then the Burlington Coat Factory in Davie is sure to fit you just right. read more

Ok, first the good... good selection of merchandise..etc....good prices...some designer stuff...ok now the bad....when I went in, only 1 cashier was open, and that cashier was very slow, unfriendly, never said hi or thanks for shopping at Burlington...Also, right after I bought some reading glasses, I opened them outside to find an already opened package with glasses that were dirty with finger prints and Scratches! So I go back in to exchange it, to the front where it Cleary says. " returns " and the girl their says , ' Oh go to register 4 for that' So I go there, wait 5 minutes and the cashier says , go get the new item and come back, I do, but now I have to wait another 10 minutes...finally, even exchange , And the ride cashier didn't even say anything, like 'sorry for the bad product and hassle of waiting to return it.....terrible employees, all 3 of them I saw. read more

This store has gone so downhill. I've shopped at various locations for probably 25 years or more. I used to pick up some beautiful home-related items, pictures, pillows, rugs, candle holders, you name it for a fraction of a price you'd normally pay (better than HomeGoods even) ... not to mention when my daughter was a baby, soooo many cute little clothes for dollars each. I knew I could always pick up a great suit for work, dress to go out in, cool as heck tie for my husband, and fantastic jeans. OMG, I just remembered their shoes and my heart fluttered. Real name brands too! Check-out has always been a bit of an issue but the deals used to be worth it. Weeeelllllll ... now it looks like a Salvation Army and the selection is likely pretty similar. Polyester-cheap clothes, few nice shoes, no one to help (and if you are lucky enough to find someone, they either don't speak English or conveniently pretend not to) ... and now a long wait at the 1 or 2 cashiers that are open has become intolerable. I recall many hours shopping there and never being disappointed ... now I avoid it at all costs. read more

I just bought scrubs for $10. I bought a tank top for $2.99. You really can't beat that. They sell designer bags, clothing, shoes, baby stuff, snacks and odds and ends. Wow this Burlington is huge!! Reminds me of the store in Sawgrass but quieter lol!. Huge selection of items. Organized and clean, great discount pricing for everything. You feel like you can breathe when walking through the isles lol! And also the last couple of times I've been there it has not been crowded.
