Located in Plantation, Florida, this Target is located right next to the Broward Mall, both within walking distance from our hotel. Though not a Super Target, it does have a significant grocery store component. And it was well stocked, carrying the various OTC medicines that I needed, with the equivalent house brand (i.e. Up&Up) offering significant savings. There were plenty of registers, including self-checkout. One of the product purchased was controlled, so an attentive associate came right away to ring me through (just needed my birthdate). One interesting side note: we noticed a crowd of young adults doing cosplay near the side entrance. I recognized a lot of them wearing 'Team Rocket' uniforms from the Pokemon universe, including a young man dressed up as Giovanni. We asked one of the store workers about it, and she stated that they were here for the Pokemon card drop that was going to happen quite soon. read more

A great and local Target right in Plantation. The staff here is (for the most part) friendly and they'll walk or show me in detail exactly where what I am looking for, is. The location is very clean and the place is nicely lit so I don't have any trouble looking or squinting at prices of the items I know I don't need but will buy anyways! There is always someone, usually a handful of people, stocking or cleaning up so it's great they keep the place super clean! The prices here are reasonable but there are items that I can get a bit cheaper at other places around here but I am paying for the convenience of already being here. I like that they also have a self-checkout section but there are times that the checkout area gets insanely backed up and it is easier for me to just go through a checkout with someone that will scan my items for me. The place has a nice amount of items to buy and I usually find everything I am looking for because the place is always stocked with everything I need! read more

This was a very large Target store behind the Broward mall. We came here as it was nearest to where we had eaten lunch. I needed to get a gift certificate for one of my nieces plus a few items. They had most of the other items, but not a couple. I chose my gift certificate from the wall of them near the checkout lines. The strangest thing was that the cashier didn't say one word during our experience. No hello. No thank you. Nothing!!! I told her how much I wanted on the gift certificate and the amount. She put her hand out and I gave her the one I'd selected. I asked for a gift receipt, and she gave me the receipt. The other items were rung up separately. After ringing them up, I paid with my credit card. She handed me the receipt and the bag, and we left. I've not ever had a "silent" shopping experience like this!! Nice stand alone Target store with a narrow and tight parking lot. Best bet is to head straight for the garage a few feet away. Store is bright, clean and well stocked. The closest Target to me and I'm glad it is. Aside from the parking lot being a bit like you're fighting for your life, the store itself is pretty nicely setup and clean when I'm there. This target has a parking garage but I don't park there because it seems too crazy, I usually park in their other lot and walk a little bit to the entrance. The store itself is super clean and always well lit. I like they have security in the front and it gives me a little peace of mind. The store is easy to navigate and the shelves are always stocked. The location always is rotating through their seasonal items and they have a little section in the front with super cute cheap little trinkets and toys. The prices are a little bit more than the prices at other big name stores but you're definitely paying for convenience while you're here. I like that they have a self checkout session but it tends to get a huge line on the weekends. Staff is can definitely be hit or miss in terms of friendliness but overall I have never had a problem. This location has a Starbucks and I always love getting my drink which is finished super fast and walking around making unnecessary purchases. I'll definitely keep visiting this Target as long as I live around the area! read more

Poor customer service at the Target on 8201 Federated West Roadway, Plantation, FL regarding the Cat & Jack return policy. On one visit, I was told "nothing is wrong with this" and then accused of damaging the item when I pointed out a missing button. On a second visit, the associate didn't examine the clothing and said it couldn't be returned due to no tag. When I asked if the policy had changed, the explanation was unclear. This is a pretty clean and decently stocked location. They do run out of things quickly but are most likely to restock it in a week or two. Their shoe department is smaller than most locations though. Their checkouts are always busy but doing drive-up through the app at this location has always been easy and convenient. read more

After two calls and 15 rings each I hung up then I tried four other target stores in the Miami in Fort Lauderdale area with the same process never once. Did anyone answer the telephone. I love me a good Target, especially one that is taking all necessary precautions to ensure that their guest are safe during this difficult time. I love that this Target is a little hidden and therefore doesn't get as packed as some other Targets tend to get. When it comes to parking, the parking right out front is a little small, but they make it up for it with their garage. Which comes in handy on rainy days. They have 4 designated spots for drive up pickup and have added a fewer more spots since so many of us are taking advantage of drive up during this time. The store itself is nicely organized and clean. Carts are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for you upon entering. They aren't a Super Target, but offer some produce and other goods. I can often find myself lost just walking through the aisles. It's literally my favorite thing to do. They have a nice clearance section clearly labeled for those looking for a deal. All in all if you are a lover of all things Target the way I am, this one is definitely work checking out read more

A A-OK visit to a standard chain store when we were in the area. We needed a couple of staple items when we were on the road, so we popped in to grab and go. The store itself looked like the older chain version and they didn't seem to have gotten the upgrade some of the sisters stores have gotten recently. They had all the same things you'd expect to see here for the chain and it's easy to shop. The setup was different than the stores near our home, so it was a little odd to get around, but once you figured it out, things were easy to spot on the shelves. They had a good amount of stock and I'm sure they'd have something of what you're looking for here. There were a few cashiers, but we used the self check-out as per usual. Overall: B A Ok. In need if a good shower cap, this Target seemed to be most conveniently located. The store is not a big version but still has a decent selection. Unfortunately, when we arrived it had just rained. The outdoor parking lot was full and had large swaths of standing water. The parking garage had two levels. Downstairs was dark and filled with water puddles. Not a single one of the overhead lights seemed to be on. We drove upstairs which was dry (good drainage?) and empty. We discovered why: the elevators did not work. The staircase was shut by a mold covered door. A second staircase located at the side farthest away from the store entrance had a huge pool of water at the bottom. My go-to Target! The employees are relatively nice, it's always pretty clean, everything is neatly stocked, and I always find what I need (and usually leave with a few unintended purchases). Curbside pickup has been my go-to due to Covid. It's super fast, and the employees seem to do a relatively good job following order guidelines! For items I cannot curbside pickup (like masks), I am able to find parking in their outdoor lot, or within their parking garage, and have found their product placement and layout easy to navigate. I prefer this target over the Super Target by Stirling simply because I find their customer service more friendly and efficient, their layout easily navigable, and their Covid precautions adequate. read more

Target should really be getting a review of "Good" or "Great" but this one is only "OK." The store is pretty typical for a Target; it's big, they have groceries as well as sundries. I needed a few specific items for Christmas and I know Target is good, but I do have a drive to get to one. There was one less than a quarter mile from my house, but they closed it, so now I have to travel to the nearest one. I don't necessarily mind this, if it's worth my time. Because they have groceries, I can combine my grocery shopping and Christmas shopping, much like I do at Walmart. That did not work here, though. This particular Target doesn't have a very large grocery section, and several of the items I needed they didn't have. It's very inconvenient if I have to stop at more than one store, but I did. I understand that they only have so much room for their groceries, but that means they have to be more selective in the quantity of each item. Instead of having 12 of one item and none of another, they could have 6 and 6. The other reason they did not get a higher rating is because of their employees. I encountered quite a few employees out on the sales floor, which is excellent. More stores should do this. But of all the employees I saw, not one ever said hello. No one asked if I needed help finding something. No one cared. That's a sad thing to say about any business that offers goods or services. Show an interest in your customers so they'll keep coming back. As I said, this is a drive for me to get to, and since Walmart is much closer and carries most of what I want, I'll probably be spending more money there than here. read more

My husband and I found this Target open even with the Covid19 outbreak. There is parking in front of the store and covered two story parking on the side of store. There were plenty of empty parking spaces. The store was slightly messy but given what's been going on definitely understandable. They had most things in stock. They had a few dozen rolls of paper towels but no toilet paper at all. Also no baby wipes either. The food area was fairly well stocked fresh and frozen foods alike. They even had plenty of water even different brands to choose from. The store restroom was clean and had toilet paper. The employees were all wearing masks and gloves. Everyone was happily practicing social distancing. They were happy to be there even though I'm sure they have been working tons of hours. I would highly recommend this store. read more

I was going to give them 1 star but the manager redeemed another star. We went in there particularly to purchase Disney gift cards. We found them and went to check out. First of all, this is not Target's fault but the customer in front of the line just left her carriage there and took her stuff after she paid. She just looked back at us and shrugged. What a rude, lazy biotch. Then the cashier tried to scan the gift cards and for some reason it wouldn't scan. She didn't try to find a solution she just said I can't scan it. We asked to speak to the manager because hello, we only went in for this reason. It would be a waste of our time and gas just to go there and not get what we went there for. She looked over to the Starbucks and said she's over there and ask her but she's on break. We said she's on break though, she said so; like she didn't care if she was on break and we could go bother her. We asked if another manager was on duty and she said no. Luckily, two minutes later a manager walked by and she called him over. He came to help us and went to get some more gift cards to scan. He apologized and said he wasn't sure why those weren't scanning. He offered us the smaller increments of gift cards but we didn't want to hold too many gifts cards; that's why we were buying the larger increment. Since he attempted to find a solution he redeemed a star. Otherwise, that cashier was so lazy. I worked as a cashier for 5 years; no way I would've just said I can't scan it, oh well. I would've found a solution. Customer service down in Florida is definitely horrible lol. I won't be returning to this Target anytime soon. read more

I don't shop here very often but when I am in the neighborhood and need to stop in for something, I can usually find it. They have a BullsEye app that of you scan your item, it may come up with a discount that you can apply at checkout. I find that the line moves pretty slow at the manned check outs but the self check out usually requires me to get associate assistance anyways. Try buying a bottle of wine, an aerosol can, and cough medicating form self check out. It is like having your boss standing over your business. I'm sure with all the data Target collects, they must know my credit card doesn't belong to a minor. I try to not do mindless shopping but to hold my list and just get what I need. read more

I was in the area and needed some cleaning supplies so I decided to stop here. It's been years since I have been in this store & it's still a mess. I found the cleaning products I needed without any problem & I also found a nice selection of greeting cards, but that's all I found nice about this store. I only saw one employee on the floor and he was working hard. This poor kid was being pulled in so many directions I felt bad for him. How can a busy Target be so grossly understaffed on a Saturday? Does this store have a management team in place & if so, then where are they & why weren't they assisting their staff and customers? The lines moved slowly and my cashier wasn't very friendly, in fact she looked as though she hated her job. I can't think of any reason for more than two stars. I ordered a vacuum online for my girlfriends Christmas gift. It was confirmed and said 2 hour pick up. After work, 3 hours later, I went to pick up the vacuum. The customer "support" rep was rude and did not offer any help. When I gave them my order number they said it was not ready and I would have to come back. I asked if they could bring it from the back now to which she replied, "that's not my department, cancel it if you don't want it." As I went to the department to speak to someone else willing to help me my order was ironically and conveniently canceled. I work right next to this target and have spent a lot of money here. I know I am not special, especially to a giant like Target. But show some respect and enthusiasm for your job. I worked customer service all through school. Went to Target to get a few things for my daughter. Honestly this is the most unorganized, dirty target I have ever been to. Everything is thrown around. One would say that it is the customers, nope, even the signage was just thrown under shelving. The store only gets the star for Starbucks. In general I like this Target. It's small, never too crowded and although I hate the parking situation here this tends to be my regular Target. I went into to get some items for an ankle injury and groceries. I proceeded to the check out line and unpacked my items onto the belt. Wanda, the associate, asked how I was paying and said there were issues with their card reader system (insert identity theft joke here). I said no worries. She rung me up but had to move me to the next register to pay. She noticed I was hobbling and in pain so she told me to stay where I was. After I paid she offered to get me assistance to walk my things out and put all my bags together so it would be easy for me to carry. Although these were small things, the customer service she showed guarantees that I will me we shop at another Target. She, to me, went above and beyond what the job description of a cashier did. Me and my injured foot thank her and I will definitely be back to spend my entire paycheck in there because when you go in for one thing at Target, you leave with 100. read more

This store is very well organized and I believe was remodeled somewhat recently. I don't come to this location all the time, but I do from time to time. They have a pretty good selection of frozen foods. I was disappointed to see they no longer carry Blakes frozen products. Other than that, I was very pleased with the frozen food selection. It is mostly high quality and some products are organic. They have a great selection of natural home cleaning products to choose from, multiple brands and a variety of scents. They have a parking garage which is helpful. But if you park outside, it is kind of awkward to reach the front of the store because one of the entrances is right near another entrance. Depending on where you park, you might have to walk quite a bit to get inside the store. My tip is to park in the garage if possible. read more

The employees here are hit or miss, and I've taken a couple of hits. Specifically, 2 different employees have repeatedly interrupted me when I needed assistance and tried to explain the problem. The last time it happened (today), I could not get the resolution I wanted because the employee would not even let me express my idea. They may be the Einsteins of Target, who know every customer problem after 2 words are uttered, but that is not an excuse to interrupt customers in mid-sentence. Customer service gets zero stars, they do not answer the phone call. Example, I did a order for drive up, it was drizzling. Pulled up and put the spot number, sat there for 10 minutes no one came out. So I'm calling, instead of answering they hang up. This is a great Target. I must say I was really impressed today, as I looked at the lines, and thought WOW, I have never seen so many registers open and such long lines.... seconds later a manager said, ma'am, follow me, and they rang me up on a register near the purses..
