I must say I was really impressed today, as I looked at the lines, and thought WOW, I have never seen so many registers open and such long lines.... seconds later a manager said, ma'am, follow me, and they rang me up on a register near the purses.. If there was a lower rating that's what I'd give target. I placed an online order for shipping. The order arrived quickly but it was the worse packed delivery I've ever received from any company. It was all clothing, nothing was folded. It was literally wadded up in a ball & thrown inside a single plastic bag with one strip of target tape thrown across the top. One piece of clothing was inside out, another was also inside out and had horrible stains on it. Obviously someone else's return. I don't believe I will ever trust them again to order online for shipping. They don't care about what you just spent good money on only to have to go to the store to return the defective items that I believe were intentionally sent. Is it fair that I offer 4 stars because I always wind up spending too much here? Really, the dropped star is for the fruit section. A week ago I purchased a bunch of peaches and they barely made it a day before going bad. And not the kind of bad where parts are salvagable, but the entire fruit had to be chucked. I should have known it might happen considering how many of the peaches were already over ripe in the store. So I suppose I took a gamble and lost. On my most recent visit I knew when purchasing that the bananas were not that great. Oh well, I should definitely know better than to buy fruit here. But, Target is not all about fruit anyway. A definite bonus is the Starbucks right when you walk in. This location even participates in the Star program and you can earn and redeem your stars here. So you can stroll leisurely through the ailes while sipping your favorite frap! A major bonus especially if you wind up having to go clothes shopping with the wife unexpectedly. Expert tip: be aware of the sale signs. There are several offers, but you have to make sure that you select the right products with the sale which isn't always clear. If you aren't sure double check with the cashier, once your transaction is complete, if there was a mistake you have to go to customer service. read more

This is your standard Targee with an added bonus... covered parking. The store has an adjoining covered garage but sadly, there is no covered walkway for our South Florida rainy days. The location is convenient next to the Broward mall so it helps to reduce the running. This is great for the household items I wouldn't find in the mall or just a quick stop. This Target is a complete mess. You'd think it'd be more well kept since it's got its own parking garage but I guess the workers can't keep up with the sheer amount of traffic going in and out. Needed cleaning supplies but it felt like I was one of the many prepping for doomsday. Everything is literally everywhere. Labels were missing, damaged items on the floor, overstuffed bins (wrong items in marked bins too lol), random baby products among Raid bug spray, etc. I even witnessed some lady snatching a giant roll of Target plastic bags and stuffing it into her tote. It's an older Target so it's not as fancy as the newer ones, but the location is convenient. I like the frozen selection of Amy's organics, as well as some of the new Simply Balanced brand products that are GMO free. Also... Who doesn't love low priced laundry detergent and fab. soft! read more

You do not respond to information on pick ups. You simply hang up when appropriate number 2 is press on phone. One can not find out where merchandise is being held. I will have to run around to all local Targets asking if they have my order. In the end I may have to call my bank to request a refund. Sad for such a major department store. read more

If you've read my previous reviews, you're aware of my affinity for Target. This Target store added to my love of the store as it had some elements that my local Targets do not. First of all, their home decor section mirrors that of a store that solely specializes in home decor as they have "fancy" shelves and displays rather than having these items on the traditional shelves. This helps the items stand out more and seen more appealing. Also, this Target offers some self-checkout lanes, something else that I have not seen at my local Targets. This was very convenient as I only purchased a pair of earrings during this visit. The rest of the store was clean and well-organized in usual Target fashion and the sales associates were friendly and offering their assistance. I have yet to be let down by a Target and this is why I'll continue to shop here in person and online. read more

This is nice big Target store that is unluckily tucked away inside the shopping center and you wouldn't even know it existed from driving past on Broward or University. There isn't even a Target sign anywhere unless you turn into the lot. Otherwise this is as Target as it gets - same prices, same products. They have a full sized grocery area. This Target location deserves an award for being constantly out of stock on products. I live nearby and have been ordering through their app for several years, even before COVID, this was an issue. An item or more always get canceled after I place an order. I've started to shop at Publix although it's more expensive but at least I can always find what I need and fruit is fresh. read more

I only come to this Target because this is the closest one to me now but I would much rather prefer to visit the one on University and Stirling. This location is hidden behind Broward Mall and covered in massive trees. I don't like the layout of this location and their customer service is no where near the quality it should be for Target. I actually barely see employees walking the floor here or greeting anyone. There is ALWAYS long lines here but they do go by fairly quickly. There is a small packing lot area right in front that is pretty dark with all the trees covering the area but luckily they do have a garage right next to this location. I have never used it because I always score a spot outside but I am sure it has way more lighting then outside! I hate coming here at night because it feels very unsafe trying to get to and from your car. I would recommend coming to this place, however, to do returns. The other target down the road takes a while where this location is smaller so the guest services is usually empty. Besides that, I much rather visit the Super Target at Sawgrass or University/Stirling. read more

This store is HORRIBLE. Who laid it out? Cleaning section right after the beauty section but only has some supplies, the rest is halfway across the store. Which makes zero sense. I tried to ask an employee for help, she kept walking by. I pushed the call button for help. That was futile. No one came after waiting 5 minutes. This store should be laid out out in away that makes sense, not where I have to walk all over it to get everything I need. Put all the HBA in one spot. My go-to Target closed down a year or two ago (Commercial & University) and this is the closest to me. I don't like the layout of this store and it seems to be disorganized all of the time. The juniors/women's clothing areas are a mess. I hope they find a way to get this store together because it's becoming as dreadful as the Sawgrass store. I went to exchange a Christmas gift and the customer service representative didn't let me do the exchange because the item was $110, I asked for the manager and she didn't let me talk to her. I am returning a $110 item to purchase a $400 item. It's clear that they don't like making money. Then she wanted me to ask the person that gave me the gift for the receipt. Who the heck goes to the person and tells them I can't use what you gave me, and that if they can give me the receipt to return it. I am not that rude! And to say the item can be stolen that's why they won't return it. It's a big f box!!!! I was mistakenly charged for a rug I didn't purchase while checking out in the tech center of target. Saw my receipt was incorrect and I went to customer service. Once it was my turn, I explained to the young girl whose name begins with the letter S I believe. She began searching through my bags aggressively, taking the door mat out that I just purchased, and searched vigorously through my gift cards I had just purchased. I had assured her I wasn't stealing, nor hiding the rug. She began to tell me how there is a lot of fraud going on and basically she didn't believe me. After few minutes the gentle came from the tech center to explain to the young girl that it was his mistake, he accidentally charged me and didn't take it off. I proceeded to tell the the young girl, this was what I telling her verbatim. Which she then told me to calm down and relax. I let her know i'm the customer, you're in the wrong for profiling me incorrectly. She had a sour attitude, so I decided to let her boss SABRINA try to speak to her about her attitude. Sabrina shrugged me off and said "well how were you talking to her". I then let her know i'm the customer, I wasn't being rude to her, you made a mistake on the transaction and now you're profiling me as if I stole something. She repeated what the young woman said to me about fraud which I then let her know I am a paying customer. I am not trying to steal from you. She gave more attitude and dismissed me. I asked for her name because I'd be contacting corporate and she happily held her name tag to me and said go ahead. This behavior is unacceptable. I have filed a complaint today! REF #95247558 I called customer service twice, was hung up after the call was to connect to a senior rep. Called back again, spoke to a senior rep, but the call dropped again If due diligence was done, an employee could've checked the time of the receipt and would've clearly seen the time stamp matches my story. I'd love an apology specifically from the staff members who were rude to me and also a response from someone higher than a manager at the store level. read more

They only get 1 star because I couldn't go lower. The store is TRASHED. Trash everywhere. Shoe department was a WRECK. It looks like the store hasn't been cleaned in YEARS. Employees just sitting around while lines stretched way back to the women's wear. Instead of working, some girl named Sharon was too busy taking everyone's food orders to do any real work. Not to mention 4 employees on their cell phones while they were supposed to be working. The lack of professionalism and its lack of cleanliness are flat out UNACCEPTABLE. The manager of this store should be hanging his or head in shame...and should probably be relieved of his or her leadership duties if this is the ship they run. read more

Horrible store. 3 different incidents where the staff was not helpful or rude. My daughter slipped in the bathroom due to very unsanitary conditions. Staff did nothing, I had to ask to fill out incident report which nothing was done. Another time I was picking up an order for the drive up service and staff refused to come to the car in a light drizzle even though she had an umbrella in her hand. She was EXTREMELY rude. I took a toy that my grandson received as a birthday gift to exchange it for baby riding toy which was the same price 35.99..The person who send gift is recently deceased. So I did not have the receipt. The store said it would only give me 7.80 towards the new toy. This location is the closest to my house so it's pretty convenient. It's not as big as a Super Target that has a full grocery section but if you need the basics, it will get you by. On my most recent visit I was looking for a small basket to match a set I have purchased there earlier this year. They did not have the size I wanted and a store employee saw me wandering around and asked if she could help. I showed her the baskets and she carefully look to see if the smaller ones were stocked somewhere else. Unfortunately they weren't but she checked the other locations and said both Davie and Sawgrass had them in stock. She even offered to call the stores for me. Luckily she did because Davie did not have it despite showing it in their inventory. However Sawgrass had the basket and she placed it on hold for me. I love target. I just moved and this target is my new location. It's always very clean and I love how big the store is. I do, however, have a huge problem in the deli meat section. I always have to wait 15+ minutes for help. A couple weeks ago a woman (who I thought was working bakery) just stared at me for at least 7 or 8 minutes before helping me. Last night I went in again, strictly for sandwhich stuff. I waited 10 minutes until another customer came up. She went to find help only to be informed the deli lady was on lunch and wouldn't be back for 20 minutes. Really? I was expected to wait 20 minutes just for a few slices of ham. Ridiculous. Switching to kroger now, it's a longer drive but well worth it. Target, you have failed me. read more

To be honest, I only come here to get to the Starbucks since its close to my house. And even that place isn't great. It's just good. The beverages are nice but they are always understaffed. And I mean like only one person is working there. They should at least have one as a cashier and one making the beverages. It would makes things go much faster.
