My son and his friend's boots are a combo of cow leather and ostrich and they are taller and look really nice. They are also higher quality leather and I am almost sure we will be wearing these next year or at least into winter. Didn't get a chance to look at the adult stuff but the store was extremely well stocked with everything and they had sales galore. I pass by Gomez Boot Ranch quite a but, since FM 2920 is a road I cannot avoid. I have to be honest and say I was intimidated by the large, "foreboding" exterior...I felt like an imposter even thinking about going inside... ...but I'm so glad I ignored my self-doubts, haha! The store has an expansive inventory of western boots, hats, belts, you name it! In all sorts of sizes and for men, women, and kids. The staff is very helpful too. I didn't get her name, but one young lady helped me figure out my hat size and go through some of the cowboy hat choices with me. I ended up going with a felt black cowboy hat that set me back $120, but out here in Texas, you know I'll be wearing it on the daily (at least when it's not raining). I'm glad I supported a local business! They also offer complimentary cleaning whenever you need it, and there is an expert in "cowboy hat bending" (I do not believe this is the proper phrase, haha) who is on-site Fridays and Saturdays to help you get your hat to a desirable shape as needed!

All you hav it do is sign up and you receive a lovely reusable bag. Last year my bag was orange and this year it's irredecent with pink handles. They provide a DJ and DIY photo station. They also provide a balloon booth for kids. You also, get a list of participating stores that offer a discount for this weekend as well. The mall is an open one so might not be the best place to shop on a rainy day or when Houston summer temperatures are up around 100 degrees. There are several sets of high covered rooftops over the walkways but not everywhere so in the rain, you might be dodging some raindrops. In the end I had a good walk around, some stores were already closed for the evening, I think this center gets most traffic in the day time and especially on weekends. I find they have a great selection of baby clothes and none for me. The baby clothes have great prices and quite a few top brands. The furniture selection is meh. The houseware selection is quite large and has great prices. I just don't need anything. The cashier was nice and the line moved fast.
