First time visiting this place and I must say we were impressed. I pass by the store on my way to work every morning. I didn't quite know exactly what this store was about as far as if it was clothes, food, or something else. Then I saw a new segment on our local TV station talking about this store and all they have to offer. Decided to make this a date night hit up spot. This location is next to sprouts farmers market off of Highway 6. Upon walking up to the store I saw that they had five dollar basketballs and footballs. I already knew that I would be impressed walking in here because you can't get a basketball for five dollars from Walmart. This places mantra is that everything in the store is five dollars or below so it's kind of a premium $.99 only store only with way better quality. They had lots of various items in here at a range of prices but nothing over five dollars. They had a beach section with swimwear as well as accessories. They had a fitness section that had weights believe it or not that although were tiny was still useful depending on your fitness goals. They also had foam rollers yoga mats and boxing gloves for kids as well as some cable bands for resistance training. They also had a greeting card section with one dollar cards they had an iPhone accessories with cases as well as headphones that were really good quality. And just a hodgepodge of wonderful items in the store all great quality. They even had a comic book section where they were selling four packs of collectible comic books from marvel and DC comics for $4. I thought that was awesome and I have never seen that before in a store Needless to stay we spent a lot more than five dollars upon this visit but we got some really nice items and we even found some nice size foldable chairs they even have skateboards! I definitely see that we will be back here to spend more money in the future but we definitely got a nice bouncy for the fact that they opened not too long ago I think about two weeks ago

As someone who is constantly in search of a bargain, it's hard for me not to like ... no, love…read moreOllie's. I've been used to discount stores as 99 cent stores in NY or the Dollar Trees of suburbia, but Ollie's certainly tops them all with space and inventory. This is no Goodwill / Salvation Army type of a store -- most everything is new. Their slogan of "good stuff cheap" couldn't be a more accurate way to describe the place. Since the inventory is under constant change, I'm finding that everything changes every few weeks. This is a really easy store to just randomly peruse in search of something heavily marked off. In addition the store is clean, the bathrooms are solid, and generally everything is easy to find. I personally love their office supplies section, as I'm always able to score pens, markers, notebooks, and other various things. I also love that they have massively large rugs and have an incredible selection of toys, books, and other gift worthy inclusions. Service has always been pretty good with me. I rarely see large crowds in here and even if there is a small line, it's dealt with very quickly. I am already looking forward to my next visit back.

Don't let the handwritten…read morelabels fool you, Ollies selection is unmatched with new and unused patio furniture, books, cards, craft supplies, laminate flooring, home restoration items, rugs, kitchen appliances, blankets, towels, food, cosmetics and more. I learned the hard way that not everything is a bargain, and I'm personally still learning what is what, but it's easier to go right than go wrong here. I was personally surprised to find name brand household items and other assorted items like toasters and coffee makers for affordable prices so if you plan to visit, my advice is- compare pricing. Don't go for the beach towels, but do stock up on blankets. Happy hunting!

My last visit I bought canning jars, as I needed more for my home made preserves. I was surprised that they had them, so bought quite a few. In general I have been happy with all of the products I have bought here. The prices are good, the quality is surprisingly good, also. The service is good, not great, but I don't expect great at a discount store. One thing I don't recommend be purchased here is food. Nearly all of their food is infested with pantry moths. They're so abundant everywhere in the store that I inspect each item I buy individually before bringing into the house. Once infested, it's virtually impossible to get rid of them.

You need to know your prices because some items were much cheaper in Walmarts. My biggest disappointment was their book section. Very limited selections except for the children section and a large selection of crossword type of books. Maybe I was spoiled by their Wilkes Barre, PA store that had a super book section. Their book area rivaled some book stores. I did find a handled cloth to clean the inside of my car's windshield. That was cool. We will go back and give the store another shot in the future.

Definitely wants you to have a great shopping experience. We ended up buying a washer, dryer, and fridge. Great pricing for value. Owners- 5/5 Helpful and informative. Asked them for help with the best suggestion for a water softener to care deeply for appliances that are new, and gave a few suggestions and information on the Houston area needs for home care, given we moved from CA. Delivery- 4/5 The positive: Communicative and called ahead of time to let us know they were 30 mins away. What needs improvement: The delivery men mentioned that they were NOT given the correct tools to finish the job of leveling out the panels on the fridge or what was needed for installation of the fridge upon delivery, because they "switched delivery trucks on them". Unfortoley, that leaves us the customer, waiting for them to come back and finish the job they were paid for. It's been a week, and we are still waiting for them to come back and level out the panels on the fridge. This is either the delivery men's lack of preparation before delivery or the owners' lack of structure to ensure delivery has what they need for all to go as needed.

I am an avid reader and no one can beat their prices if you find a book; which I always do. This location cares for their book section unlike most other Ollie's. A "bargain outlet" with 500+ locations across 3 dozen states, they have massive inventory that covers everything from mattresses to children's books. If Costco and Dollar Tree had a baby, it would be named Ollie's. I hate to generalize by saying they have everything, but it's really hard to suggest that they don't. There's appliances, apparel, sporting equipment, toiletries, electronics, office supplies, storage supplies, shoes, sporting gear, pet supplies, home decor, etc. It's really easy to get lost in everything they have. However, calling in might be an issue as their customer service is very spotty at best. The website isn't the most reliable in confirming inventory, so perusing in person is usually ideal. At the end of the day, affordable stuff that doesn't feel cheap even when it is. More importantly, I've scored some impressive deals and almost everything was of good-to-great quality. "Good stuff cheap" happens to be their slogan and is a motto I can certainly live by whenever I shop here. ____________ (#1) aka "missing out" (#2) Most of the country has Dollar Tree. Something I did not know until a few days ago was -if you are at the store and they don't have your size, they will order it for you and it is FREE shipping to the store. Bonus! (That could be dangerous for me! ) Cato also has a small selection of athletic wear. One of my favorite t-shirts came from them. It is so soft and comfy. Just great for those lounging around days. They have several locations all over the Houston area and they don't all have the same clothes selection. So shop at a few locations. BTW-I also found out they have layaway. That can be super helpful on your budget. Return=yes!!! (sorry, hubby)
