Well, I think you're supposed to try the clothes on BEFORE you take all the tags off and BEFORE you shred the receipt. But that didn't happen. I took them back to THIS store, because the store of origination didn't have the needed size. Customer service is right up front -- which I found out after having walked half the store. OK, walking is a good thing. I had no tags, no receipt, BUT the purchase was on my Kohl's credit card. I was offered a refund or a replacement. I went quickly to the men's department (which is quite adjacent to Customer Service) and found a better size of the same short. That was so painless, the clerk was so friendly and knowledgeable. Pros: clean store…read more Cons: absolutely nasty customer service. We bought $200 worth of clothes and the associate was trying to pressure us into getting a Kohls Credit Card. Hard no. When we told her no, she got snippy and said "your loss". Our loss? Nobody wants to pay high interest on your makeshift credit card, Kohls. Even worse, now my Mom goes to pay and swipes her debit card. She accidentally did her PIN backwards, and the card declines. The associate whispers to her co-worker "now I know why she didn't want that credit card. she can't even afford the one she has". WHAT? I didn't know someone could be so nasty. The girls continued snickering after we walked out the doors. We won't ever be back to this Kohls. I don't know why people have to be so nasty, so pushy, etc. Do better Kohls!!
