Decided to stop by on a Sunday afternoon because I was having lunch nearby. I never really shopped in a Burlington before. I was a little hesitant that I would not find anything but I went in anyways. As soon as going in, the security guard at front entrance greeted us, I am not sure if that is a good thing or bad. Never seen that at a store but I guess it is the norm now. The store is huge and has a second floor which was surprising. On the first floor, they have women's and mens clothing. I immediately went to the women's side to just browse. I ended up finding a really cute blouse for work that was only $6. After I kept browsing, I found some other great buys and the 4 things I purchased it came out to less than $20. Such a great deal! Overall, the store is clean and staff is friendly. If I am in the area again, I might just have to stop by to see what else I can find. read more

At 8pm on 11/5 while the line are extremely long. They only have 2 cash register which seem to be normal for this location but what i dont understand was lady at cash register #1 the skinny lady with black and purple hair were taking her sweet time putting away hangers and organized it at a rack. She could have help customers first and do that later. It doesn't make any sense because the lady #4 were so fast. She double the work while this lady didn't even finish one. I think management should look into this. Good worker should get recognized. This location has a good selection of perfume and clothes. Easy parking. No cart allowed outside the store. read more

Nadir is by far the WORST supervisor of burlington in cerritos. I filed a formal complaint against her for her rude demeaning 'tude!!! This afternoon Sunday January 18 my mom wanted to buy a pink computer chair. The price ticket was .25. Nadir went as far as scratching the ticket. She then said that the price was 100.00, instead of honoring the price that was .25 she chose not to. We asked for the manager Jonathan and she said he wasn't there and that she is the supervisor. If you are the supervisor, you're supposed to RESOLVE. She resolved nothing and she was in bad mood. If you don't like your job, then don't work there. Someone needs to retrain her. As a supervisor that she claims she is, she didn't solve the situation but instead made it worse!!!!!! read more

This was the first time I have been to this Burlington in Cerritos. I don't want to be negative, but it was not the best experience. Don't get me wrong the prices are decent just like any other Burlington, but that wasn't my issue. So when you first walk in, there is an extremely serious looking male wannabe security personnel guarding the queue. Yes a queue! They rope off everything so it looks like a queue you would see at an amusement park ride or at an airport. Upon entering, you literally have to be let in one at a time by the wannabe security guard. The icing on the cake was when I was trying to leave. I had a shopping cart because I bought 2 large items. The wannabe security guard immediately stops me as I am trying to exit. Instead of saying "have a nice day," he said "you can't take the cart with you!" I was fine with leaving the cart behind but I was more confused than ever. He saw that I was by myself and had large items to carry and couldn't make an exception?? In that case, my advice is to best park as close as you can or do not buy larger items I guess. This "security guard" acted like he was a TSA agent working at LAX. It literally made you feel like you were at the airport with the queue they created at the entrance. The whole set up was really weird and not welcoming like other typical stores you go into. Also Leslie the cashier looked expressionless, like she was just meandering through life. She did not greet me before and after the transaction. I felt like I was inconveniencing her by going to her register. Overall I would not make another trip to this Burlington. read more

You walk in and are greeted with this. And this is what you hear...a member of loss prevention staff robotically saying to everyone who enters.... "Hi! Welcome in. Anytime you enter a Burlington store you're going to see an entrance that looks like this." (Extremely awkward and unappealing.) Customer: "Why do you have it this way?" "For a better shopping experience!" Really....For who?! Today I Walked into the store with my special needs student who immediately bulldozed this set up. The loss prevention person with the bright blue fake contacts at the door was extremely rude and unaccepting that there are individuals that are unwilling or unable to wait to bypass their little fake security check point. I understand the thefts have been extremely overwhelming but this is just ridiculous. Hire a proper security guard if you're truly wanting to make proper changes. Stop removing stroller from GUESTS with young children AND hiring personal with no customer service. If anyone goes under or around their little fake lockdown barrier - the loss prevention individual becomes extremely combative and rude. Get it together Burlington. I was trying to return this #defective product today after purchasing from this place on Dec 10th (16 days); my daughter wore it for 4 to 5 times. They said NO. Basically, the manager didn't believe we only had it for 2 weeks. I guess he doesn't have a kid and has no idea how the shoes can look like even after one time use , and the bottom of the shoes can get dirty after walking outside. $25 is not a big deal. But, not being trusted and not able to return a defective product is a huge disappointment!!! They do not honor their own promotions. I purchased two $50 gift cards before Christmas on-line which included two $5 bonus gift cards. The first time my wife went to redeem them, they said they will only accept a physical gift card. My wife had a paper copy which was one of the options to redeem it. They only provide the bonus gift cards by email, no physical cards for all bonus gift cards. After complaining to the corporate office they said to return to store and they will honor the gift cards. Again my wife went back and this time they said it required a $20 purchase..my wife bought $10 worth of merchandise to use up the gift cards. My wife already spent $100 with the first visit..receipt was presented to the two managers that were present with this last exchange. They still refused. It seems they make up excuses so they can avoid honoring their own promotion. They had a different reason for not honoring the bonus gift cards without any written requirements for the customers. The only written requirement was to redeem them after 12/25/2024 to 2/1/2025. read more

BURLINGTON EMPLOYEES keep ALL hello kitty blankets . they never hit the store floor for customers to purchase . I've asked multiple employees they all say the same thing. One employee said he has never seen any of them on the floor and another one said the workers check out before they even have a tag or anything on the blanket. Wish i could give 0 stars. read more

Dropped by because my mom wanted to pick up some shirts, and I ended up getting a couple of shirts and shoes myself. Shopping is my guilty pleasure. We were greeted upon entry. Sanitizer and wipes were available for your hands and for the carts. CARTS. Standard shopping carts, mini carts, and hand carts were available and corralled behind the security guard/greeter. I didn't make it through most of the store because it was stuffy, aisles were narrow, and frankly--shoppers here gave zero f*s about social distancing. I needed to get in and out and just stayed in one general area until moms was gone doing her thing. My sister left the store because she was completely grossed out. The store can't control their customers behavior, but they can turn up the AC or get the air circulating. WOMENS SHOES. Slim pickings. If you're looking for shoes for the working professional, today would not have been your day at Burlington. I found a pair of Nautica loafers in chocolate. **Super cute** No other selection of loafers but this one. Also nabbed a pair of Franco Sarto pointy toe kitten heels in a stone color. It was marked down on clearance. Yay for me. My gripe: there needs to be more selection of pumps or decent sized heels for the office. There were almost zero closed toe or any peep toe heels. Maybe I'm shopping at the wrong store, and Burlington's focus is not for the working woman. Secondly, shoes appeared to be mis-sized or mislabeled. I tried on shoes between 7.5 to 8.5 because the sizing was just off. Overall, not a great shopping experience at Cerritos Burlington. I have not visited a Burlington in about a decade. We got greeted with a nice smile as soon as we walked through the doors, and honestly we were just coming to use the restroom. I did wonder into the shoe section and it was on!!! I went to the front and got a cart. GREAT PRICES!!!! I was able to find some casual shoes, dresses, a few shirts. Great brands with even better prices. Also, the sales associates I interacted with were happy and helpful. Oh!! The bathroom was very clean and when we were about to exit I gave the cart to a gentleman who disinfected it right away. Few days ago I went to this burlington to shop around and I was greeted at the door by a supervisor. She noticed I was wearing juicy pants and told me they had taken out juicy sweaters. I went to check and not only did I find a black juicy sweater, but also the matching sweater to the pants I was wearing. I honestly wasn't even going to check the clothing section but thankfully I did. When checking out I saw her again and she asked if I found them she's so sweet! I unfortunately didn't catch her name but I do know she had a supervisor name tag and had dyed hair in a ponytail. Great service she deserves recognition would definitely come again! read more

Burlington used to be called Burlington "Coat" Factory. Place where you can find suits and coats at a great price. Three years ago I scored a nice wool overcoat at this location. Today I visited the store hoping to score a nice overcoat again for my Peaky Blinder look...but what greeted me shocked me. It said "Burlington" outside but inside was nothing but a downgraded version of Ross (is that even possible?)...second floor where it used to be filled with men's suits are now scaled down and there was nothing valuable to buy...I was in and out of the store within 1minutes. Disorganized and it looks like this place is going out of business! It is so unorganized and messy you can't even find anything. It's like they open boxes from shipments and literally throw things on the shelves and ground and leave it. Half the shelves are empty. The worst is probably the line. They have 20 ppl in line yet only have 2 registers open and employees walking around left and right. It took nearly 30 minutes for 6 groups in front of us. DO NOT SHOP HERE! This particular Burlington (Along with Ross stores) is our go to store for clothes shopping. It is due to the fact that I am VERY cheap when it comes to clothes, and also due to the following reasons The store after the remodel is very organized. Employees take the effort to put things back where they belong. Store is very clean. It is bright inside as well. Good deals. I generally find a lot of options for under $9.99. That number is my sweet spot for any dress items :) Sales are not limited to national holidays either. Good return policy. Lots of check out counters. One of the things that is always puzzling to me is a long line and one cashier trying to check every patron out. Not at this place! I recommend considering this Burlington for your future clothes shopping needs. read more

The service well we know that's non existent and they only have associates in the registers. But I didn't need help just need them to have more cashiers during the weekend. I went to Burlington (Cerritos location) on July 1st and the store was messy looking. I 100% do not blame the staff working there because I saw too hard working ladies trying to run around cleaning. Everywhere I looked I saw an older white lady and a short black girl ( both wearing blue) trying their hardest to straighten out the store, they look utterly exhausted. However, the restrooms were a different story. There had no toilet paper and only one sink was working (ladies room). I have never seen a more disgusting restroom. I saw employees grimacing every time they came out the restroom; it was truly sad to witness. I even saw some of the toilets there were smeared with turds. I asked if it was possible to speak to the store manger and I was told that she was not in for the day, it seems that every time I call or go in to speak with her she is not there or takes to long to speak with customers because she is too busy. When you speak to her she seems very insincere and will pass you on to a lower level supervisor it's she thinks it's not worth her time. I personally like the tall girl she's the nicest out of all of them. This store is always so under staffed so thank to those two employees who were working their tongues out to make the store look nice. Burlington treat your employees better! read more

Lines can be super long, and yet none of the managers of others employees will open up another register. When asked, if they could open up another register, they stated "they are closing out", and doing their job. Didn't bother them that there were 10 people in line. Plus they try to rush you out an hour before closing. Bathrooms are horrendous, and smell disgusting!!! They are always dirty, toilet paper and seat covers are everywhere.
