I don't know how they do it, but their Concha special was delicious, as was their cookie butter and banana. If you can't eat a lot of sweet food, steal a bite or two off a friend's plate. We couldn't finish in one sitting. Go early to avoid the crowds, and make sure you make a reservation so you aren't left standing outside watching everyone else eat the French toast

Service : Jenn was so personable, patient, attentive and just great! Wait time: barely more than 15 mins or so before our plates landed on the table.. it was a packed house too! Complimentary cheesecake bites... bonus!!! Fee to use a card: Not a fan. Drinks: Earl grey tea and Cookie Biscoff latte.. both were truly amazing! Strawberry French Toast, linked turkey sausage and over medium eggs - my mom said the FT were so light and moist..odd but her words.. she devoured all of it. She loved the turkey sausage. Me - Sugar & Spice Waffle Sammie .. yep I just knew a twist on my favorite breakfast meal chicken n waffles was going to be slammin.. my tummy didn't agree AT ALL! First thing, I asked about the eggs being real cracked scrambled eggs.. they weren't. My potatoes were cooked too long and not warm. The waffles were definitely sugary .. in a good way. The actual star.. the chicken.. it was in the middle.

Mid Kitchen has a pretty big variety. Get something meaty or something plant based. The prices are pretty high but that's to be expected for the location and quality. Came at lunch. It's actually a pretty small place so it's always packed. There's only a few tables. At least that means people like it. Usually there's a long wait. A while later and we finally got one. It's about $15 for a sandwich, which is a lot but it's great stuff. I got the Vegan Club. This has avocado, along with plant based versions of bacon, chicken, and mayonnaise, along with lettuce and tomatoes. She got the Vegan BLT. This is almost the same thing but simpler. Got to say it has limited hours and space, which are the bad things about it along with it being expensive. It's got a lot for breakfast and lunch. They're closed Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

This time Uber wouldn't let me choose the tip amount, and I didn't realize they had charged nearly $20 for tip until it was too late to cancel this transaction. An outrageous rip-off -- and it's not like restaurants don't know Uber is shady and shoddy. I will never patronize this restaurant again. Is it really worth it to lose customers permanently just to save a few pennies on deliveries?

Food is one of the things guests remember the most from a wedding, and Food for Thought made sure…read moreour wedding reception would be talked about for a very long time. From the very beginning, we knew FFT was the right vendor for us because they took our favorite foods and crafted a completely customized menu perfectly tailored to what we enjoyed and what we envisioned for the event. From there, they then worked with us to refine the menu as we kept coming up with crazy ideas. We literally emailed Anna about how we had just tasted a delicious Oreo brownie and she had it added to our desserts right away. We also wanted a very custom bar menu, and they worked with us to get us all the different brands we were looking for, going so far as to drive to Indiana to source some of them. The other aspect of their menu that made such an impact was all the interactive food stations. Everything is so creatively presented and designed. At our tasting, Anna had literally taken elements of our décor and paper goods and other motifs and woven them throughout the presentations from custom serving trays to glass designs. Everything felt intentional and thought out. Guests were constantly praising this attention to detail. Every station had some element of action to it as well, making everything feel like a unique experience. In all of this, the food was all delicious. We wish we can eat and experience it all over again. We still dream of Chef Arlene's Guava and Cheese Empanadas. Throughout the process, Anna was extremely easy to work with and very responsive. One thing we wanted to highlight was that we wanted to be very careful with allergens. Despite the high number of dishes, Anna did a fantastic job working to highlight all the possible allergens in every item, taking the request very seriously. We also wanted to praise the service for the actual day-of catering. They had their full team there, and the professional service was fantastic from top to bottom. Our guests praised the food endlessly, and people who were planning their wedding wanted to know all the background details into our catering choice. That is just more proof that Food for Thought was the perfect caterer, and we couldn't have asked for anything more.

Our vision was really brought to life and we got SO many compliments on the food. The apps, the salad, the meals, late night snacks and dessert. I feel like that never happens at weddings! I went in with really high expectations based on the personal recommendation plus high reviews from AI. To start, I had a latte and it was good. Someone else had fresh grapefruit juice, which they loved. Someone else had an iced mocha, which fell flat. The pancakes were quite good. The waffle dish we had with blueberries and all were good. It was probably too sweet with all the things. I think I would have enjoyed a normal/plain belgian more. Then we had a veggie, squash, and tofu special, which was good. I think the hash brown sides were really good and flavorful. I liked having that half squash on the plate, which was then stuffed with the other items. Then someone else had the veggie tacos, which were also nice with avocado, goat cheese, and all. So all good fun and a nice brunch had by all. Our walk-in wait was hardly 5 mins around 12pm on a Sunday, which was much appreciated. The service was also decent - they were pretty busy, but kept things moving along. Next time I might try to out the other/closer location - this was more like - we want to visit the OG. But overall, good brunch and good times.
