first of all, they put my new system in, in 2015, didn't have a problem until 2025, when I remodeled my house, my contractor had to cut the romex in my guest bathroom, and I told him just put the new romex in the attic, and I'll connect it. I went in the attic to connect the romex, and I saw for the first time, how they ran the ductwork, I could barely get by the duckwork, since my fau (forced air unit), is approximately 2 and a half feet, from my crawl space, t hey used cheap flexible ducting, and basicly blocked my attic , from going around their ductwork, without smashing the ducting, so what should've taken 20 minutes, took me an hour, to do the work without crushing the cheap ducting. I had an issue with my thermostat, it started going from away mode to nothing, but foggy numbers, so I got a Honeywell thermostat, put it in, and nothing. So I figured I'll call the people who put it in, so I did. I got an appointment for Friday, I called on Wednesday so ok, the appointment is for 2 to 5, I said ok, then about 39 minutes later I got a call, that the appointment, that he had in two days, was going to take longer, so they changed it to 3 to 6, ok whatever, so I left work a little early, to make sure I was home by 3, just in case, it was hot, and I wanted my a/c fixed, well turns out I didn't have to worry, not only did he not show up at 3, he didn't show up by 6, since I didn't get a call saying the tech, was running late, I assumed I got blown off, but no, at 7, he showed up, like he made the window, which he didn't, and I told him I put a Honeywell thermostat in, and it didn't work, he said yeah it doesn't work with my system, so I said ok, then he proceeds to tell me the thermostat, for my system......is 1600 dollars, so I kinda said, you're joking, but he said no, so i said a couple of you're out of your mind, but since it was hot, I relented, and said fine go ahead. When he left I looked on amazon, for a Lennox thermostat, and I found them for under 600 dollars, which is crazy. I sent an email to the company, and asked them, if they could explain why their thermostat, was so much more than one i could get on amazon, which to be fair, I didn't know I had a proprietary system, which if they told me what the new thermostat, would cost, I would've said no thanks, what else do you have, but of course they didn't, so of course the thermostat, they put in with my system, was guaranteed for 5 years ( of course), the new 1600 dollar one is guaranteed for 10 years, and as of yet I haven't gotten a response from them to explain why their thermostat, is either 3 times better that amazon or that was the labor, to hook up the four wires to the thermostat That was Friday, no response to my email, so as far as I'm concerned, I would never call them again for anything!!!!!! read more

what a great business and they have always been loyal with me. My mom started us probably 30 years ago at least 25. And they've always been on top of everything and helped a lot when I had my own mobile home along with mom's. I'm very satisfied I would not change unless I had to because of them closing for some reason like Covid was. I recommend them 150%. Always courteous on the phone in the house. Our unit has been out for a few days and we attempted to go through our home warranty plan which was terrible. I told the home warranty rep we had a baby and needed emergency work done and it took one day for a technician to come and make dishonest diagnoses and not solve the problem. It was also going to take them several days to get the parts and to reschedule a visit to come out and fix the problem. We finally called Burgeson's who initially installed the unit (we were not original purchasers) and our technician Broedy came earlier than scheduled and fixed the issue quickly and efficiently. We purchased a plan that covers our home for a year for HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and other items and then allows us to call for help, be put at the top of the list and not have to pay a service fee to diagnose what is wrong. It has been a real help. While all of the techs that come out are very good, one especially, named Eddie, has been to our home several times for electrical work. Our system had blown out after two days of 100-degree heat. We called around, but very few installers were available, and the ones we found on YELP and contacted did not work in our area. After talking to three companies, we felt Burgeson's was the best offer. They understood our needs and our current system. Two men showed up a few days later, worked the whole day to install both the A/C and the furnace, and left us with a brand new Lennox system. A couple down the block saw the truck and also purchased a new A/C system from Burgeson's. We are really impressed with the thermostat that is easily controlled manually on the wall (where the old thermostat was) or by our cell phones on an app that we downloaded. One of the technicians took the time before he left to show us how to download the app to our iPhones and how to program the thermostat. Another excellent service call by Bergeson's, this time by a tech named Abraham B. We purchased our home @3 years ago. Built in 1962, it has turned out to be a hodgepodge of wiring installed over the years. Burgeson's electrical techs have always done a great job dealing with electrical issues on our home, and making recommendations regarding our wiring issues. Today, Abraham B. came out to deal with an electrical issue in our kitchen.
