The service is above and beyond. I was staying at a hotel nearby, and made an order for pickup. When I got there I just let them know I was there, since it wasn't quite ready. Three times in the few minutes I was waiting staff gave me updates about my order, and that it would be ready soon. They seem to really care about their customers. The food was just your average fast food. The price was quite high for the quality, but I had ordered there for convenience not the quality. The restaurant seemed clean, and well kept. read more

My sister and I were excited to see that Burgerville brought back the ham and cheese sandwiches that we used to love. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! These sandwiches couldn't be further from the original sandwich. They are awful!! We couldn't even eat them because the ham is no longer the shaved, thin ham piled up like it used to be. We waited about 7 minutes and no complaints about that, our fries were piping hot, and burgers were great. I adore this NW fast food restaurant, especially their salmon/hazelnut salad with honey mustard dressing. My husband likes their crispy chicken sandwich. The food is consistently good. And of high quality. The interior / exterior are always tidy and clean. The only reason for losing a star on this visit was the odd service we encountered at the drive through order station. We sat for perhaps a minute--nothing. My husband said, "Hello?" The person immediately answered, "Can I take your order?" It was weird to have us engage the clerk to order. However at the pay/pickup windows, the service was friendly and effective. The wait for our food was a lot longer than most fast food restaurants. That's true of all of the Burgervilles I patronize, and it's been true for decades. This isn't a concern--I prefer fresh, high quality food to food that's packaged to go before I order. I decided on the "No. 6" burger. Wife and her friend each got a 4- and 3- piece fish and chips. I got some fried pickles as well. There was a shake or two in there. The total before tax: $62. Whisky Tango Foxtrot? This is a freakin' fast-food burger joint. I'm sorry, did Burgerville just become "fine dining?" Because they charge as if they're fine dining but their food isn't any better quality than any other counter-service fast food (and frankly, worse than some). But the prices are IN-FREAKING-SANE. $9.00 for a dry tasteless cheeseburger that arguably had a basic patty, a slice of cheese, some lettuce and tomato?!? $18.99 for a 4 TINY piece fish and chips? We paid, ate, food was very meh, average, nothing special, but priced as if they are attempting to convince you it's the finest fare around. To add to the "ambiance," manager had the audacity to literally come out of the blue and correct the counter worker for entering in something wrong ("that burger you entered...cheeseburger without cheese...yeah we call that a hamburger..."no cheese" is a discount item and you undercharged the customer blah blah"), literally in front of me, interrupting a question I was asking. 8 minutes later as our food arrived and I got up to get some ketchup, a second employee was refilling it, but it would turn out she couldn't figure out how to get the ketchup bag in the squirt dispenser...for 20 minutes (we finally gave up and asked for ketchup packets for our now-cold fries). Oh, 3/4 the way through eating (we were almost done) the shake finally arrived. "Sorry, we must have handed out your shake to someone else...". Thanks. Later yesterday, we (wife and I, two people now) ate at several other actual "real" restaurants up in Seattle, got far better food, and paid less per person than this FAST-FOOD BURGER JOINT. We actually marveled at the quality and quantity of a Lebanese shawarma and chicken dinner feast we ate, with tons of leftovers, for $45 the same night. Burgerville used to be a great value, and really I recall their food was substantially better. It's gone way downhill; a person used to be able to eat a pretty decent meal there for $8-12. Now, unless you're only looking at their cheapest burger options, you'll not likely get in and out for less than $20 a person. read more

For a fast food burger joint, it's bomb. I actually really enjoyed the burgers. They're tasty and their mustard Mayo mixed sauce they slather on, makes the burger next level compared to McDonald's, Jack in the box, Wendy's, or Burger King. I loved it! Staff was friendly too but of course the restaurant itself is a little outdated and had a not so clean feel to it. The fries were delicious and fresh too. The original cheeseburger is the size of a kid's cheeseburger. I added bacon to my cheeseburger and it was sooo good! The closest burgerville to me is about a 3 hour drive, which bums me out, but is a good thing other wise I'd be hitting this place up more often! read more

I have eaten here a few times in the past (not often because of how expensive it can be) and I have never had such a bad experience as this time around. Ordered two meals with one being gluten free for an allergy and they forgot one of the sandwiches. Beyond that, the burger they did give us was cold (I started eating it just moments after getting it) and the fries were soggy. When I went in to explain I never got the sandwich I was interrupted while explaining that I was in a hurry. They also only replaced one of the medium fries with new ones instead of both. We dinned inside. The food was wonderful! We tried the NON-DAIRY (THANK YOU LOLA!!!) pumpkin shakes, soda, fish and chips, and the kid's burger meal. There is nothing like local fresh food in an area. Burgerville is known for good quality fresh food. Prices are a little steeper than other burger places but you know it's fresh. Their sauce is wonderful. We also love their local berry milkshakes. There are many locations around the Pacific NW and we rarely stop at one more than the other. On this trip through the drive-thru for milkshakes there was a "tacky" tapped sign indicating the person collecting your money would be appreciated if you give her a tip! I definitely thought this was tacky and thus reduced the four star to a three star. Hey, we're great tippers when we get great service. We're even tippers when the service isn't so great. If im gonna spend about 100 dollars on fish and ask for tartar sauce multiple times because they always forget and get all the way back to my house to discover i was not only not given ANY tartar sauce but also not receive any ketchup salt or spread that i asked for then im gonna be really cheesed off. This has become our go to burger location. Chicken sandwich is really good. Fries are hit and miss. Prices are high. Expect to spend $15-20/person. Vegan and gluten free choices - I was really excited. The ice creams also have a dairy-free option that I'm looking forward to trying. The waffles fries are tasty. My cheeseburger was equivalent to the original McDonalds .39 cent burger without the pickles or tiny Chopped onion bits. But, it was pretty offensive at a take out place to be asked on the card machine if you wanted to give a tip with percentage options. Great service, I was greeted right away but no pressure in ordering till I finished looking over the menu. The manager was kind enough to answer any questions and when I told him this was my first time here, he was giving me a few ideas and what was on the menu. The receptionist at the hotel I was staying at and the manager at Burgerville recommended the Walla Walla Onion Rings. I tried, and my god, for the price, the Onion Rings were huge and were amazing!!!! I will order the Walla Walla Onion Rings anytime I am at a Burgerville!!! Wish we had one of these in California!!!! Don't get angry with me, I did not order a burger, I was also told that the fish and chips were pretty good. To my surprise, it was Halibut that was used and it was not bad at all. Pretty good. Nice service. Fast. The server made sure we noticed the tip when paying by card. But he was cheery and we did not mind. One minute walk from our hotel room. I ordered onion rings which consisted of four huge rings. But four? Pricy for four. Very tasty, nice and crunchy. They would have been a meal all by themselves for me. I also got a small strawberry shake which was very good, but very small. Yummy. I got a dimple basic cheeseburger with a few added condiments. Went to this place and not once but twice I got salads that were rotting. You should check your salads towards the bottom and make sure they're good. I had the manager call me back and he questioned me as to whether I had eaten the rest of my food. I told him that if I take a bite of something that is rotten that I'm not going to trust anything else that was there. He was acting like all I wanted was a free meal, He argued that that would never happen in his restaurant but I told him I took pictures of it. Only then did he offer to pay only for the salad, at that point I said screw it and told him to keep the money and that I would take my business elsewhere. $17 bucks for a cheeseburger, fries and a salad. So just make sure you check your salads at the bottom for rot. read more

Burgerville as a chain used to be great. Sadly, prices have increased, portion sizes and menu choices have decreased, and so has service. The Woodland location was a regular stop when traveling up and down I-5 for years. The past few times have consistently been disappointing in terms of menu choices and serving sizes (3 piece chicken strips?), yet surprisingly costly when paying the bill. Pretty much ANY of the Burgerville locations has very good burgers, When looking for a burger joint, if there is a Burgerville we will go there instead of any of the other burger joints. I love how they have local ingredients (Except for their Soda, which is that icky Coke- should be Jones Soda since they are local) The prices could probably be a little lower, though. I LOVED the Crisscut fries they had, and the seasonal shakes are great! (Love it when its Strawberry season) I had the Tillamook Cheddar burger, and Crisscut fries and a Strawberry shake, and was very good. I would most certainly recommend this place! read more
